Great idea again. Thx for sharing. Can you go deeper in the use of MPC live in electronic music ? Like how do you prepare tracks and sequences. And please put your mix on Deezer. I love your sounds. Thx again from Costa Rica.

Hi Jerome, Great Idea, I'll do a video on that soon. Thanks for checking!

Love this. I do this all the time but with DnB recently. I've been layering the wobble bass from the Yamaha SK30 with the harmonics of the Moog Sub37. I find that layering sounds bring out the textures of sonics that I have in my mind and I mainly find that with analogue sounds. Simple but effective when put together.

This is why I LOVE multitambral VAs. Having multiple voices on one midi channel in the same compact box makes layering a breeze. Access Virus and Nord leads can get THICK.

That's looks amazing!!! I thought Hainbach and/or Look Mum No Computer had the best old weird test equipment based studio setup... but that seems to have 1 upped even the 2 of them!!! Sick!!

Woke up at 4am because I had an idea for my new track. I got a sound dialed in on the SE-02 but it wasn't fully what I heard in my head. I'm going to layer it like you say and see if I can't get that grime.
@AnalogKitchen4 жыл бұрын
+Graydon Webster try it! You’ll see how it pans out. Also work it like how I did it frequency wise. Have something for the low end and something for the lowmids. Cross the frequencies so that it sounds and feels like one sound. Build from there. Also the higher up the freq ladder your layers go, the softer you should mix them so that they don’t stand out too much. The trick is to have your listener think it’s one sound.
@DawlessHouseMusic4 жыл бұрын
@@AnalogKitchen I made the SH-01a the low and the SE02 the high and mid. Sounds really fat. Way better than I could get either by themselves to sound. Now I'm going to add in some FM for that crystal clear sound.
@AnalogKitchen4 жыл бұрын
Graydon Webster that works! Also try and record the left channel separate from the right. That way you can automate where anything moves if you automate well

Quantize wasn't the point I was making. So , what way do you layer your stuff? I like to learn. Or was it a point to just point out stuff? Thanks for taking the time out to check my video anyway

Do you master or mix the music in these videos in a daw?
@AnalogKitchen4 жыл бұрын
nkk sf hey there! Actually, I don’t. I’ve found that if you start from a good basis, you select the right sounds and level them well, you don’t need to eq or compress. When I do an album then I would record the stems. Check out these vids kzbin.info/www/bejne/q6Gpf5-Dq7Z2pM0 kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHS4haegeNF8a80
