There was so much in that moment, he had done so much for Cleveland and the city turned against him when he left, he had been cast a villain, he came back in spite of all that and then went up against the team with the best record and shooter in history and came back from, a never before done, 3-1 deficit in the NBA finals, to hand Cleveland their first champion in any sport in 50 years, after years of Cleveland experiencing so much heartache. It is as absolutely emotional to watch and yes an absolutely beautiful human moment historically.

The city turned against him because he turned against the city. The Decision was a huge mistake, something even LeBron admits. Heck, there are videos out there of people burning jerseys of players that got traded or released.

I'm hard pressed to find anyone who genuinely hates GS anywhere, and I live in the Bay (originally from Philly). I find that people just gravitate towards Steph and have no malice toward him, much like Tim Duncan before him. It was just a storybook ending, and most were happy for LBJ
