Thanks for this trip down memory lane. I have fond memories of me and my friend in the neighborhood having our own awesome adventures with these guys (he had SO MANY of them). It will always be in my top 5 LEGO themes because of what it means to me.

That’s a great video, I loved hero factory and I want to go back and collect some of the ones I missed out on that I wanted and get ones I used to have I would love to see a video for either elves (but idk since it’s a minidoll series (i actually don’t hate the minidolls at all), but it’s a pretty fun series at least to me) or mixels

I've got a fan wave I designed that serves as the finale, with the gimmick being the heroes can turn into vehicles and the villains were dark copies of the heroes that were monsters that could turn into animals and combine with the big villain (the mastermind from Breakout/Brain Attack) and amp him up.

I respect Bionicle for saving Lego and having great lore and worldbuilding, but I always thought the sets were so skeletal and barebones. Hero Factory sets felt so complete and exciting. I was in Kindergarten when HF came out and the theme is very nostalgic for me. My favorite season is either Breakout or Brain Attack.

black phantom was voiced by luke skywalker himself, not von nebula

No wait, Mark Hamill did voice both Von Nebula and Black Phantom. It's pretty impressive that The LEGO Group/Threshold Animation was even able to cast him in the first place! (Compared to not having him voice Luke Skywalker in other _LEGO Star Wars_ projects.)

I really liked Hero Factory, the only thing that disappoints me is that at the time, Bionicle fans and others who were Lego fans treated it like a bad successor to Bionicle and not being what they expected. The truth is that I watched it again but its story became boring and I say just like what happens with Monkie Kid and Rottmnt, they are only seen as memes to make animations for them because of how absurd they are and their frustratingly funny comedy, they are only seen as memes, not everyone cares since I don't see many people talking about them, the truth is that it's a shame, right?It's sad to see how Hero Factory is now the shadow of Bionicle just as unikitty is the shadow of mixels, Chima is the shadow of Ninjago and Monkie Kid is the shadow of Rotten Tomatoes hehehe.
