Are you going to review Finding Dory any time soon? Because you have already given Cars 2 and Incredibles 2 their own full review videos after that other video you made about terrible Pixar sequels, and I want to know why you think Finding Dory could be any worse or any better. From how little you talked about it in that video, I believe you might want to give Finding Dory another watch.

In a world of “alpha males”, be a David. Never judges Nani for basically being a single parent, struggling to make ends meet, or having to balance maintaining her job with raising her sister. He unconditionally cares about her and knows that they have a meaningful relationship that’s worth building. He doesn’t let superficial and temporary aspects prevent him from being with her. One of Disney’s best leading male characters if not THE best!

I love Disney but I wish they would let people express their creativity! So many people have ideas that need to be heard but are ignored for the same stories over and over. Lilo and Stitch is such a great movie because they let creative people express their ideas. They put in so much work, even with the 2000s CGI!! But no, Disney will make a soulless live action remake of it with a small blue alien and a cute girl, completely undermining what made the story so important. Thank you for the video, I hope they change.

They do. Strange Word bombed because Disney takes risks with such very niche, All Tomorrows -type speculative material, and the creativity of the creators let them down. The remakes are platforms for two purposes, to re-establish Disney copyright that they might lose because they built those early movies on classic literature, and to TRAIN these creatives who are clearly lacking in talent, comng from the pathetic educational system Disney has to work with. All companies do this, it's more and more difficult to find any talent straight out of school, and the ones trained within rival companies can't distribute their talent because they only know proprietary stuff like corporate owned digital software. And what about these challenging stories like the Black workers in Dumbo or the child neglect in Lilo and Stitch? They are on the fastlane to being removed from public domain AS WELL for being "problematic". Ease off from beign a social credit craphole society.

i remember being deeply fascinated with this movie when i first saw it (still am), because in spite of the alien shenanigans, the situation lilo and nani find themselves in is very real. so many disney movies before this weren't really concerned with the aftermath of the death of a parent, and here lilo & stitch barges onto the scene - promising alien shenanigans with their quirky trailers, and delivering a raw story about two sisters struggling to stay afloat with CPS on their necks and a weapon of mass-destruction incarnate having an existential crisis.

Funny thing is, I recently rewatched it and I was analyzing it myself. Particularly I was looking into how everything tied up perfectly in it. Example: Stitch's original reason for being with Lilo was to use her as a meat shield so Jumba wouldn't risk shooting him, Jumba through following Stitch around looking for a chance to shoot him is being surprised by all the unexpected things Stich is doing, like how he's actually surfing against the risk of drowning, in the end, I kind of think Jumba was convinced to help stitch so easily was cause he had seen all that stitch was going through.

Actually, one thing I noticed that cheered me up was, the galactic federation was GOING to maroon Stich on an uninhabited asteroid, but when he crash landed on Earth, he was KINDA marooned there anyway, and without any major cities to terrorize like he wanted- in a way, his fate was the same from the big picture- with the exception that he's not lonely.

After seeing the impressive success that Lilo & Stitch: The Series was on Disney Channel and when Season 2 got to have four crossover episodes with other Disney Channel series - Recess, The Proud Family, American Dragon: Jake Long, and my personal favorite Kim Possible, I got very disappointed when Kim Possible phased out Disney Channels's 65-episode limit, but Lilo & Stitch did not get to pass 65 episodes with Kim Possible. I am grateful that it paved the way for later shows like Phineas and Ferb, Star vs. the Forces of Evil and Big City Greens to make well beyond 65 episodes, but that is also why - after those Japanese and Chinese spin-offs where Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley live with a new girl who has a different family, I wished that Disney+ would revive Lilo & Stitch with most of the same living voice cast, because I wish it could have a 3rd season which takes place between Snafu and Leroy & Stitch, with more of the 628 experiments that we have not seen before. I counted up how many of Jumba Jookiba's experiments we saw before Leroy & Stitch, and there were only 116 of them with 512 left to go. That is how I knew Lilo & Stitch: the Series might be able to get as much mileage out of its premise than Phineas and Ferb, if not more because of how many other experiments we had left to see and find. You can read all of their names in the end credits of Leroy & Stitch. That is why I wish Disney+ would continue Lilo & Stitch: The Series because they already revived another one of the four animated shows that crossed over with it: The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. However, after seeing Louder and Prouder get so much bad publicity for its ham-fisted depictions and portrayals of current social issues and societal problems like cancel culture and colorism and even white privilege, I learned to be thankful with the 65 Lilo & Stitch episodes that we already have in case further storylines with other experiments would just be more of the same. Besides, even if Lilo & Stitch got the Disney+ revival treatment without the things we hate about Louder and Prouder, they would need a new voice for Jumba Jookiba since David Ogden Stiers passed away in 2018, but the biggest problem would be - the need to cast a new kid for Lilo's who is actually Hawaiian like her because Daveigh Chase and Dakota/Elle Fanning were not accurate to her race and ethnic background. It is why Aiden Dodson and Bresha Webb replaced Tara Strong as the voices for Bebe andCece Proud in The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder when nearly everybody else has the same voice actors they originally had 21 years ago. Do you want more animated Lilo & Stitch content on Disney+, or would you rather not take the risk of them forcing in current societal problems that Hawaiians face? May 3, 2023, 9:42pm

Honestly, YES, I would to see this franchise make a proper animated comeback, like seeing more experiments that we haven’t seen yet, further explore the previously seen ones in terms of characterization, see how the ohana has been in the years after the events of Leroy & Stitch, see more of the Galactic Federation and other planets in the universe, and maybe see other evil alien scientists create their own experiments. There’s still so much potential with this franchise.

@@superstitch5618 Well, thank you! I am happy I came to write my long comment when Aldone's Lilo & Stitch review was less than an hour old, since that could get other people talking about what they would want out of Lilo & Stitch if Disney Channel or Disney+ wanted to reunite most of the cast and writers for it 20 years later as long as it was much better than The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder at...being the entertainment that it used to be instead of protesting about current things half the time. I think Maia Kealoha, the new live-action Lilo portrayal, should also do her voice in a possible revival of the cartoon because Daveigh Chase, who originally voiced Lilo as a kid actress in the 2000s, is not Hawaiian herself. It would be like when Aiden Dodson and Bresha Webb became the new voices for Bebe Proud and Cece Proud in Louder and Prouder. Louder & Prouder got me thinking about what new ground Disney+ or Disney Channel could cover with Lilo & Stitch today (continuing the original cartoon, not the live-action remake) because The Proud Family is one of those 4 five-fingered Disney Channel animated series that crossed over with Lilo & Stitch in its second season. The other three are American Dragon: Jake Long, Kim Possible and Recess (even though Recess ended 4 years earlier and needed a new trio of boys to play TJ, Mikey and Gus in 2005). Even though I do not like Louder and Prouder for obvious reasons most people dislike it, I am still grateful that most of the same people from the original The Proud Family are making it and unlike the Japanese and Chinese Stitch spin-offs, the new The Proud Family series does not try to go on without Penny Proud or other Proud Family members. @@superstitch5618 Disney+ gave Monsters Inc. a proper animated comeback nearly 20 years later and even included some lesser known characters from the Monsters U. prequel, so...I know Disney has some talented people who know good ways to cash in on nostalgia for old properties on Disney+ that can do the same for Lilo & Stitch and The Princess and the Frog, especially when Pixar did not animate Monsters at Work at the same time as when they were making Soul and Luca, because Creative Animation Studios put its best foot forward on 3D modern computer animation for two 10-episode seasons of Monsters Inc. "X-Men The Animated Series" was so well crafted. The story of mutants was so universally relatable. Media abstractly taught me life lessons, touched on difficult situations, found intelligent ways to tell stories. So much so that even when I've gone back & rewatched them as a adult. I realized how well they told & crafted stories that anyone can enjoy & appreciate them. (Pretty much anything created by Don Bluth or Written by Roald Dahl) The Brave Little Toaster, James and the giant peach, The never ending story, Rocko's modern life, The secret of the Nimh, Little Nemo and the adventures of Slumberland, beetle juice, Alice in wonderland, Rock-a-doodle, Captain Planet, Thundercats, He-man, Spawn, Batman, Batman beyond, toxic crusaders, Matilda, The BFG, Ren and stimpy, courage the cowardly dog, magic school bus, Dexter's laboratory, pinky and the brain, I am weasel, IR Baboon, Ah! Real monster's, goosebumps, are you afraid of the dark, pee wee's playhouse, she-ra warrior princess, cow & chicken, gargoyle's, power rangers, TMNT, the Indian in the cupboard, Addams family, Jumanji, Hook, the sword and the stone, the black cauldron, toy soldier's, honey I shrunk the kid's, wild thornberries, hey Arnold, angry beaver's, Flintstones, the Jetsons, Kablam, So many 2D Disney movies, So many more I won't list them all but they had such creative range. So many ways of telling stories. So many types of creatures, unique worlds, weird things, macabre things. I loved how we used to embrace those things. Nowadays everything is so bland or Shallow live action version's filed with nonsense & hollowness. I miss the Era of creativity, of animated series, of things that made us utilize our intelligence. Artistic depictions of the Human condition that connects us on a deeper level. No matter what kind of character, creature, specie's they are. I seriously don't understand who can enjoy these modern live action movies. Filled with so much disconnected CGI. What happened to Practical effects? Now it's Cheap cop outs, bad writing, acting, filming. Storytelling that is treating our entire audience like they are 2 yr olds that just need a pair of shiney keys waved in front of them for entertainment... it's a very bland & soulless way to entertain... Seeing how things are nowadays, i feel so lucky that i got to grow up in the 90's. Back then I never could have guessed that things would have changed the ways they did. It was such a great time to be a kid during the 90s. The world seemed to have so many creative ways kids, teens and adults could all enjoy themselves. Entertaining movies with practical effects. Animated movies/shows galore. If they used CGI it was used intelligently. I really miss the Vibe of that Era. The creativity that came from that era. I really hope we find a way to reconnect with it because the world seems like it really needs it right now. I mean just look at the aesthetics compared to now? Things have somehow become so bland, bleek, and minimalism that it doesn't even make since. Most Old house's/building's/uúnique shop's are gone. Interesting oddities like drive in movies, indoor fun zones, arcade's, magazines that came with a demo disc to try out game's, blockbuster/Hollywood video, McDonald's had N64's, you could preview music before buying it, they had great kid's toy's, Roller Rink's, Garbage pale kid's card's. You get the point. I want to reignite that feel sort of like Retro-Futurism or that Y2K Vibe compared to this current Dystopian pessimism that seems solely focused purely on capitalistic agendas. Our Quality of Life should be better than this.

After these years, it's still hard for me to struggle and balance with the fact that even though the animated film was likable and warm, it also exoticizes and commercializes Hawaii and Hawaiian people. And I wouldn't have become aware of this problem if I hadn't accidentally watched a documentary about it when I was a child (because my mother mistakenly thought it was the movie). i like your effort here, but to be honest half of this video was saying things in Hawaiian and translating them instead of analyzing the movie which from the thumbnail/title i thought it would be about. you were also retelling the movie a lot (summerazation) instead of adding anything to it that explained why you think its so perfect. i didnt get much out of this video, but you seem like a new channel so i'm 100% sure you can improve. all love!

You do not know Aldone's background, and neither do I! If he is Hawaiian, how do you know that he is Hawaiian? Does he say that in this video? Did he tell us that somewhere else?

In my opinion, this movie suffers from one fatal flaw. It does one thing very, very well, and that is the story of Lilo and Nani. The Hawai'ian cultural aspect is part of that. I found the whole alien plot to be a distraction. Whenever it went to them, I just fond myself thinking, "Can we go back to the story of the sisters please?" You could have replaced Stitch with literally anything, and it wouldn't have made a difference in the story of Lilo and Nani. He could have been a dog, a cat, a rabbit, or a robot and their story wouldn't have been affected. I guess I'm saying that Lilo & Stitch should have been Lilo & Nani and have the focus be on the sisters' relationship. It wouldn't have been the first movie about a broken family trying to stay together, but it would have been one of the best. I'm not sure how the movie would have played out without the alien plot, but I stand by what I said before that it just distracted me from the real heart of the story, which was Lilo and Nani. Oh, I also like how they approached Cobra Bubbles. They could have made him a straight up villain, but no, they took a very realistic and very mature approach to his character. He is just a man doing his job, and sadly, his job sometimes requires him to make very heartbreaking decisions.

I Can understand your point, but Im not totaly agree. Yes, the hearth of the movie is Lilo and Nani, but Stitch is very important to.

Absolutely NOT. It's far FAR from being "perfect," and not even one of the top 20 best Disney animated films. By this logic just because I'm Hispanic, "Encanto" or "Coco" should be my number 1 favorite film just because "representation." And no, neither of those two are on the top 20 Disney animated films either.
