Great video as always. A series that I would be interested is something like "Why doesn't everyone do this," where fighter's speciality moves are looked at and examined to see why only they could pull it off. Ruddock's Smash, Hearn's Flicker, Augustus's Dancing, and basically everything Ali did are all amazing weapons that no one could wield as well, and it would be cool to see why that is, whether it be from different body types, better balance than other fighters, etc.

Ever since your man Loma appeared on the scene, he's almost single-handedly changed the face of boxing - at least in the lighter divisions. He's absolutely wonderful to watch and gives the phrase "the science of boxing" a whole new meaning. I coach a bit at our local boxing club, but what the kids really want to learn is "Loma moves". Unfortunately, I can't really teach them that. I'm 78 years old now and I was an amateur boxer for 34 years from age ten, never going above welterweight. My old-style "boxing reflexes" are far too ingrained for me to learn (or teach) new ones. But it's the younger trainers at the club who are just as excited to teach "Loma moves" and they're very, very good at what they do. They really impress me. My main task is to teach the young 'uns to recognise and avoid the cheat moves when they come, like, for instance, lace-scraping, elbowing, head-butting, lead-foot trapping, blind-side punches etc. It's a good time for boxing when young kids are eager to learn and some of them really do have genuine talent. I hope they go far. MsG

@E0572-e1n2 жыл бұрын
@PainPillzPittBullz&Pistolz honestly you just exposed your own ignorance on this topic. Loma tried to get the salido and teofimo rematches. He was denied the teo fight because of a lack of financial incentive for the risk. Lomachenko isn’t a major draw and can’t offer guys 10’s of millions for a rematch like Joshua and canelo can. There’s a reason loma fought commey and nakatani after the teo loss. Those were toe’s best wins before loma. Beating in better fashion than teofimo would theoretically create fan deman for the rematch and incentivize teofimo. Salido just straight rejected the rematch even when they were offering him career high paydays, he’d rather have the legacy of an unavenged win over loma over what money loma could offer
