MVP is based on (listed by importance) 1# team success (wins) 2# National media perception 3# stats and performance I could care less go win a SB, it’s just like probowls. Like do you want to play in the pro bowl? That’s where all the eliminated teams players go to play a super duper watered down “football game”. Let’s get a chip

BTW, you don't weigh too much to go sky diving. I weighted 240 my entire military career, I have 89 static line jumps, and half of them I damn near weighed 350 lbs doing combat equipment jumps (ruck sack and rifle). Don't be a Va-jay-jay [pu$$y] do the jump.

Putting a damper on Derek Henry, I think, helps put a damper on Lamar. If you're running back, can't get out in space. Can't get past the first level? You have to try to draw them back at least the d. B's with some designed Lamar runs to give him about 5 yd where he can make stuff happen. If you do that, then you're stupid. He's gonna kill you every time, but you could say the thing about Justin Herbert. What's the difference between Justin Herbert and Lamar? Jackson Justin Herbert is a man Lamar. Jackson is a Superman. Don't believe me. Look at some of the moves. He's put on people just go back and look. I'll wait and you tell me if Lamar. Jackson is completely human. When he runs with the ball and decides, he wants to put a move on somebody. Yes it's embarrassing for them.

Lamar is a better impromptu player and more athletic runner. He tends to panic and throws over the middle between the hashes. He is not comfortable making all the throws. Lamar chokes under pressure and big games. Herbert has a higher football IQ, can make ALL the throws at all levels and everywhere, can create with his legs. Hebert, IMO, is a more complete package and his style will have a longer career. I would rather have Herbert.

Most people don't care about stats rnvp are any of that garbage that goes along with it what we care about is wins and losses if you come to the Super Bowl and you win it that's all we really care about don't really give a damn about a playoff game if you can't win it

Justin and the Chargers are going to beat the Ravens. Josh Allen and the Bills, after beating the Chiefs last week, are going to slip up this week, thereby leaving Justin the inside track to the MVP race. Justin is going to keep the lead with the Chiefs being the only obstacle left. Justin and the Chargers beat the Chiefs. Justin goes on to win the MVP. Chargers lose in the first or second round of the playoffs. Everyone is calling for Roman’s head/resignation. Charger fans excited for next season with Harbaugh at the helm.

We must win this weekend and Herbert should put a better or comparable stat line than Lamar. This will make the MVP discussion viable. It will be hard to argue against what we will see on MNF, in front of the nation... And if he can make it vs Ravens, ATL and KC, then this put him in the frontline. But as far as I am concerned, Idgaf about MVP titles. Only Ws. Team, team, team!

I want them to run the table the rest of the season. BUT if we have to lose 1, I prefer it be to the falcons. I want herbert to show up and show put against mahomes, and lamar, he's already done so with burrow. It'll make it undeniable that Herbert deserves to be mentioned in those conversations about elite qbs on the national stage. Bc Herbert has been disrespected by the pundits the last couple years.

Telesco made a bunch of layups over his career (Herbert, Slater, Derwin) but those guys just fell into his lap, and what would have happened if he were picking 5th instead of 6th? We’d probably have Tua now. It’s like someone who went 3 for 25 in a basketball game then hit a left handed buzzer beater from mid-court at the end of the game in the 2024 draft. Except for Keenan did he even have a day 2 guy make it to a 2nd contract? Ok, i guess he gave Pipkins an extension but that didn’t age well

So far, Herbert hasn't played well against the Ravens in his career.Maybe since their defense isn't quite as good as in the past, we have a better chance?We shall see?

Jow many 3 and outs Roman's offense has will determine who wins. If the kicker for the Bengals makes one of those field goals, that game would have looked like the Jaguars playoff loss. Make adjustments Roman!

@damonm8916 the halftime adjustments have favored the opponent on lots of games. You're not concerned about 21 unanswered points in 2nd half? Sorry, but Roman was let go by the Ravens for a reason. 1 yard on 1st down, throw it wide behind the line of scrimmage on 2nd, then 3rd and long. Playoff coaches and teams will be ready.

@@prestonfen27 I hear ya. Of course the 21 unanswered are concerning, but let's give T-Higgins, Chase, and Burrow some credit. That, plus Hart was out. Cincy's defense made adjustments and benched the DB who misplayed both passing TD's in the 1st half. Just saying, there's a lot to it. Always will be. Take heart in the win and enjoy the change of culture happening in the moment.

Not necessarily. The Charger front 7 and the way they use their 3 safeties can replace most teams' DL, plus allow flexibility to adapt on the fly. It will be interesting for sure.
