Lukas stretch was ridiculous to close the season while Shai down the stretch was afflicted with a leg injury. If we're talking regression about Shai's FTs etc you need to talk regression about Lukas 4+ 3PG (a huge outlier in his career) and 78% FT% coming down. I don't think it's that bad to have Luka by himself - it's just not a far and away situation and there are actually big areas where he could regress back in.

Are AST's the main determinant in the tier calculations? How is FVV that far ahead of guys like Garland, who despite Mitchell's presence, is still capable of putting up similar numbers (1 less 3 pt and 1.5 less AST per game). I just don't understand how FVV is in the same tier as someone like Harden vs. Garland in the same tier as Poole. FVV having an ADP of 90 on espn is indeed ridiculous, but I do think he should be in the same or tier above Jamal Murray and Garland and nothing higher. Maybe I missed something.

@@pakokopuffs i mean if you look just at their rankings in 9cat last year FVV finished at 17 while Garland was at 109. Even if Garland climbed 60 spots higher FVV would have to drop 30 spots for them to put up similar value.

If the ranking takes into account games played, then it makes sense Garland was at 109 since he only played 57 to FVV's 73. And Garland has also never played more than 69 games in his career so I get that health is always a concern (except his jaw fracture last season, which was a freak accident). So the ranking sounds too low for Garland. But yeah I guess if you ignore FVV's terrible FG he can benefit you in every other category, including surprisingly BLK's. Still feel like he jumped up way too high in rankings because FVV also hasn't been the healthiest guy season to season. I guess I've been sleeping on him a bit though.

Shai will never be close to the playmaker Luka is and he isn't even a better scorer and his defense isn't elite enough to make up for the offensive gap. Luka being the better overall player is the reason they won that playoff series and that was Luka at well below full power.

SGA has large advantages in steals, FG%, FT% (close enough in scoring) behind in 3s, Assist Rebs but ahead in 5 of the 9 categories. FG%, FT%, TOs, STls, Blocks. Solid in other categories that he is behind in. Luka FT% is an issue. Turnover as well.

@@timwilshire1489 4 points per game, 4 rebounds, 3 threes, and 3.5 assists difference between the 2 guys. FG% can be made up with other picks and Luka shoots 50% himself, Assists/Turnover Ratio is similar, steals are marginally different and can be random. Much larger gaps in the categories Luka leads over SGA.
