WOW, that's really terrifying and deeply understandable. Is it something that will stop people who hear this from lying? Probably not maybe some but mostly not because the one's that lie aren't going to just stop... Right? I truly appreciate the truth and respect it even if it's something that hurts and if it's something you would rather not hear. I'm really honestly going to be wholeheartedly going to walk in truth for the sake of not going to fall into sharp objects and wholes... Further more; HELL! Thank you Jordan 💜

The farther you try to bend reality and the longer you hold it the more violent it will be when it snaps back. The good news, if you are careful and deliberate, you can ease yourself back in line with reality. It will come with costs, but those costs are going to be proportional to the costs you were trying to avoid by lying in the first place.
@pingpongpaddlehead

How can I start and the then stay on this path?
@chiepah2
@chiepah2 Жыл бұрын
@@pingpongpaddlehead The best thing to do to start is to focus on not lying. You don't have to tell the truth at first, but stopping the debt from increasing is big. It's tough because you have already built the habit, but once you can do that well you'll find you have more brain power to work with, since you aren't spending it on keeping your lies straight. After that you add telling the truth. It's rough, I'm not going to lie to you, it's nearly impossible, very few people manage it. I'd recommend more JP on the subject, he's the reason I have any insight at all on this. You can probably search something like "Jordan Peterson Tell the truth, or at very least don't lie" and get some really good stuff. I don't know how to keep doing it because I still have trouble, but it's worth it to try. I really feel better knowing that if I'm at least pretty close to being in line with reality.
