This is a great story!! Lzzy is the ultimate class act!! Recently, Matt Bellamy of Muse also gifted Dany a guitar while they were touring in Europe!! You have to see The Warning play live to truly understand what Lzzy, Matt, and many others see in Dany and her sisters. They are remarkable!!

"I was more excited than she was." If Lzzy reads this, I can promise that's not true. I saw the videos on Patreon that Dany made after that concert, and she was so excited/happy that she was practically vibrating in place. Also, can we take a moment to appreciate just how awesome Lzzy and the boys in Halestorm are? I've been listening to Halestorm for at least 10 years now, and they're still putting out badass music, still super nice people who haven't let their accomplishments change who they are, and now they're going out of their way to support/mentor up and coming bands.

Great interview! Personally, I’d like to see several collaborations with Halestorm and The Warning-a song with both Lzzy and Dani on the Explorers and another with Lzzy on piano and Dany on guitar. Would also love to see Arejay in there as well…he was awesome playing NARCISSISTA, allowing Pau to come out front!Halestorm and The Warning on stage at the same time…can’t even imagine the Pure Energy in THAT room!

As a fan of both bands, what an incredible gesture by Lzzy for Dani, who is her idol and also the support of the rest of the band for Dani Pau Ale, halestorm behaved like a 10 with them, introducing them to more people and sheltering them. The only thing missing is a collaboration and I'm sure it would sell out. Dani proudly carries his guitar to all concerts and I know there will come a day when he will pass the torch to someone else.

I wonder were the The Warning girls will be in Rock 5 years from now. All i know is it's going to be one hell of a ride that i can't wait to see. I seen the girls on a KZbin vid the first time in 2015 and Ale's Bass was bigger than her. I was hooked on them after watching a few songs thinking damn these girls can play. I like good old rock music and they hit a home run with me. I'am going to sit back and tighten my seat belt cause its going to be good.

I saw Halestorm last year with The Warning, The Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar in Boston. I don't really collect picks so when I caught one of HaleStorm's picks during their set, I gave it to a young girl who was behind me during the show. It made her day and made me feel good as well. Such an awesome live show. Can't wait to see them again. 😁

Lzzy Hale gave Daniela a white Gibson guitar,while Matt Belamy gave a yellow Manson guitar. Thomas Illgen bassist (I think 5 or 6 years ago) gave Alejandra 2 Spector basses,white and black. Now the result in guitars donated by musicians between Dany and Ale 2 : 2.😎

It is more practical to give a guitar as a gift. The drums are huge. I read in one of your comments that you are from Calcutta. It is the famous city where Sri Srimad A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada appeared. I visited Calcutta twice in 1997 and 2009. Greetings from Croatia.

BTW Calcutta is known for other things as well - steeped in so much history. It used to be the 2nd city after London during the British Raj. Lizzy has got to talk Dani into putting that PRS down. It just doesn't have the balls. Strap an SG on Dani, a real rock guitar. Their music is really hot, the rhythm section is covered with Ale and Pau. Dani is fine guitar player it's just her axe is weak. Not putting the PRS down, it's sound is for cleaner quieter jazzier material. More punch from the guitar is needed. IMO opinion, I think Lizzy thinks so as well, could be the motivation behind the Explorer gift.

If I was some stud rocker, I would get Dani a couple of gold top lp's with p90's in them. 2 so they can be swapped and not change the sound. I bet you an air dollar that Dani gets a prs sig. The orianthi sig was a joke. she never plays her sig.

@@jjrusy7438 the PRS is a fine instrument in the right setting. A power trio is not that. A Les Paul, an SG, a ES 335, a Strat even. This gutsy sounding band needs a stronger, ballsier sounding guitar and all pedals in the world will not help her PRS.

I believe she likes the PRS because of the neck size/shape. Dany is a small lady, so it may just fit her hands better. She's not having any problems rocking her PRS so far!

I'll admit I was initially here just for the Gibson Explorer story, but hot damn that whole interview was fire! "Subscribe" and "Like" both duly smashed! Warning, love your music guys. Worries me that you work so hard, eg other experienced musicians worry that Pau's arms might not stand that for a long career, ditto Dani's voice. What you should do is hire Mia Morris to be a support person. She's a good drummer, guitarist, vocalist, keyboards ... Could stand in for any of you if sick, do drums at practice if Pau doesn't need it any more, etc etc. Call her, she works sessions out of Nashville, 19 yrs old.
