When comparing both movies, the fight scenes in "Animal" are very good and different. However, there are many cringe-worthy and unusual scenes, making it a 3-hour movie. On the other hand, "Avesham" is more emotionally connected to me and gives more goosebumps than "Animal". Both movies have their unique strengths.

I dont think animal had a "better" fight scene or somesort..cuz i really did enjoy the fight scenes from aavesham! Theyve even used trained martial artists for the fight as actors! But ya different audience for both..but i would clearly choose aavesham over animal!

In context, Oppenheimer and Barbie released on same day, with both being blockbusters. But there was a huge gap of audience who found Oppenheimer boring, while others found Barbie a cringefest!! Taste of cinema is subjective, and you cannot judge other's likings based on your morality!! I find massy movies like Pathaan, Jawan, Jailer, KGF, RRR, Pushpa, Salaar,etc extremely boring and refrain from that genre!! But I don't go around judging the people who likes it. If Animal made 900 crores, there must be something people liked about the movie. You think all the people who watched Animal in theatres are misogynistic, just because some sections of people found something offensive. It's unfair

What promotion people already known about malayalam industry Few days before _ PVR theatre s banned Malayalam movies. Goat life movie director already given them money they never informed him also, manjumal boys dubbed version also removed from screens

Actually there is some issues going on between Malayalam industry and PVR that is the reason for less shows given to them and unannounced releases. Even in a prime city like mumbai the shows given to these movies were around 2 3 in a day

You didnt get the follow up... Issue has been resolved within a day or two and all these films ( aavesham, MB, goatlife).. Continued their screening in PVR.. Now new films are successfully running in pvr

Doesn’t make sense to compare the two, and you definitely don’t have to degrade 1 movie to praise the other. Aavesham is a favorite movie of the year for many critics and potentially all time milestone for the lead actor. I love it and it’s my fav too.But Animal is just a different kind of movie, holds its own. Animal is one of the best movies in recent times that has flipped conventional storytelling usually seen in an action family gangster revenge drama.. you can’t even place this movie in a specific genre. Purely from a film enthusiast pov, it’s phenomenal and deserves more praise (keeping aside political correctness and wokeness).
