Bhai.. its understandable that you have heard only about Jeetu Joseph as he is the only one who is a bit experienced.. all other movies you have mentioned is second film of that director.. Sookshmadarshini is second film of Jithin, Manjumel Boys is second film of Chidambaram, Avesham is second film of Jithu Madhavan and Rekhachitram is also the second move of Jofin.. Truth is that there is a flood if new talent in Malayalam industry from last few years and they are very hardworking and disciplined.. Socho.. Rekhachitram was shot in 60 days across 90 locations with 115 artists at a budget of 6 Crore 😮

And this trend of knowing and appreciating directors & technicians is pretty old in Kerala. People used to go movie based on who directs like Bharathan's Movie, Lohithadas script , IV Sasi, G Aravindan, Ramu Kariat, Kamal, Lal jose, Hariharan, Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Santhosh Sivan and many many more

Kunal...just wanted to reach out to you and tell a bit about this new movie, Rekhachitra starring Asif Ali in the lead. This movie is a classic example of what you just said in this video. The writing of this movie...is just next level brilliance. It weaves in behind-the-scenes aspects from 2 Mammotty cinemas of 80s to make this brilliant murder thriller plot. A Forrest Gump like theme. This is the classic example of a good Malayalam cinema...very strong storyline with sound logic. Only problem is...people who are not familiar with the earlier movies...may not get the drift. You may find it hard to connect. But trust me...this is a must watch thriller.

For malayalee each director have a signature and we expect movies to have their signatures.
