It's not the fault of the police; they are underpaid, understaffed, overworked, and overstressed. While most police officers genuinely want what's best for the public, these issues hinder their ability to do so. When an average police officer reads about people scamming banks and financial institutions for large sums in the newspaper, they might be tempted to engage in corruption out of frustration. Some cases might go unaddressed due to police ignorance or reluctance to entertain specific cases. It's true that our police force is influenced by individuals in high political positions, which can limit their ability to do good even if they want to. However, I hope that with time, these issues will become more apparent, and we can work towards improvement.

While I wholeheartedly agree with the need for reform in our justice system, it's essential to acknowledge that this transformation will demand significant resources and time. However, as India's GDP continues to grow substantially in the near future, we can remain optimistic that many of these pressing issues will find effective resolutions. It's worth noting that political parties often prioritize winning elections and resort to offering freebies and symbolic strategies to secure votes. This focus on short-term gains can sometimes divert attention from the critical, long-term reforms our justice system requires. What are your thoughts on this?"

As an 22 yo, who saw a few civil as well as criminal cases, where settlement or result always bend on the side of guy with money, power and connection. And even if i file a case due to a wrong done against me, should i ever believe in Indian Justice system or police system or other, even lawyers want cases to be not solved earlier/easily to make money. (cause i always taught to "bahar hi samjhlo apne tarike se, court khachari police se kuch nhi hota") Is this what I was born into, what our forefathers voted for, is this for which i should be proud of my nation? IDK.

First of all thanks for the video. But there is more serious problem going on in our society which no one was aware of or talking of. POCSO introduced for good, and I agree it is very good law against child sexual offense. But, to make the law strong it became very rigid and brutal. I am from Gujarat and in my local news paper I almost daily read news about POCSO judgements. Every time boy is of age between 18 to 23 and girl is of age from 14 to 17. I recently read news where boy was of age 18 and girl was of age 17. Can you believe? That boy got 20 years of imprisonment. (He may release when he reach 40, his parents might be dead, he couldn't marry, he dont know how to survive and what to do for earnings.) This case shook me hard. That law simply considered boy as an adult and girl as a minor. (There should be age difference to be considered to measure crime not simply absolute age) So, first thing is the law is very rigid and second thing is that the boy do not know the law obviously. If he know the consequences he would not indulge in the act. Government needs to change the law so it became flexible and at a same time it should be strong as well. (Ajmer's criminals are living happily after rapping more than 200 children girls) I have one solution which can fix lot of problem like you considered to start talking for. Government should start teaching basic laws in school specially to boys as they are major victims of laws before they turning 18. So, that way, we could make sure that at least they know the consequences before doing anything against any laws. I agree that we cant teach every law, but dowry, marital rape, POCSO, atrocity, 498A we can teach them. Everyone knows that hitting someone is crime but few people knows that indulging in sexual activity with your own wife may get converted into crime (If woman turns against you for some totally different reason). Please like this comment so this can reach to creator and he may create some video on this. Your likes might save some future children (18 years old children) from getting trapped into the rigid system.
@Luckyily
@Luckyily 11 ай бұрын
The laws need to be changed with regard to consensual acts where the boy is major and the girl is minor... not my opinion... experts have said this. Schools need to teach the law and also the impact of such actions by children if someone files a case against them. These days many kids don't care about the impact of their actions till someone complains and then the parents of the kid find out what all the kid has been doing behind their backs
@mananpanchal26
@mananpanchal26 11 ай бұрын
@@Luckyily True, Other points to be pondered is: 1. After nirbhaya case, above 16 years old could be considered adult in case of heinous crimes, same should goes to this as well. 16 years old should consider adult in case of consensual act. 2. Would court give punishment who are mentally ill? No. because mentally ill do not know what he/she is doing and they are not aware of consequences during criminal act. Same way, how someone can assume that 18 years old know what he/she is doing and what is consequences? 3. One wild idea is (no one might be agree with me on this), as soon as boy turned to 18 send him jail for 5 days. That way he could see himself what does jail mean and during his whole life he will never do anything which could lead him to that same place again. During that 5 days, there should be sessions to teach basic laws, and it would be impactful like if you do something like this you end up here for this amount of time. That learned consequences will always imprinted in his mind. Other argument with the idea is that rich kid will easily escape the rule and poor kid end up following to rule and spend 5 days. But, that is the beauty of the rule as rich people anyway escapes jail time while poor always suffers most. So, lets face it to prevent it.

Please brother make a video on condition of basic grassroot level infrastructure in cities and towns. Even though our highways and expressways are being built at an excellent rate and quality. The situation of cities and towns are very bad. The failure of local bodies and state govt is costing this country. This is an important issue which enough people are not taking notice of or talking about it. When i mean GRASSROOT i mean it. The most basic of basic ground level infrastructure that is Proper roads in cities, Footpaths, Cleanliness, Waste management, Garbage collection and recycling. These are the most basic level things which even in 2023 india still lacks.

Police sometimes knows that incoming case are fake case (dowry, rape, atrocity) still police files complain or they are ordered to file. In that situation lot of fake cases goes in to court and stuck for long time. Police needs to evaluate before filing complaint that way fake case get reduced and overall case also get reduced.

In many cases it is the other way around. Police doesn't file FIR (mentioned in this video also), or doesn't invoke the correct sections, doesn't investigate properly and tries to close the case... may not be because they are corrupt or incompetent but because they don't have the time and resources to complete the process.

One of the worst police force of a state is JHARKHAND. Jharkhand police is the most corrupt police force even worse than Bihar and UP and east african countries. If you go to any police station be a Mahila thana or a normal police station, the SHO will try to grab money from both sides and give advantage to the party who gives maximum bribe. It happened with me personally where the police first asked money and then asked for the details of the issue. I have seen a lady was killed by her in-laws and her parents came to complain. The SHO of mahila thana called the husband and he came with a big sweet packet (you know what is inside). Then they asked the girl's parents to compromise with the husband. Just imagine the level of corruption and moral degradation. They are goons in uniform. The judiciary is just blessing to the police force. Lawyers know under how much amount of bribe, a Judge can be fixed. God bless Jharkhand !!
