2:00 Ukrainian woman who probably spoke all her life in Russian now do not speak any Russian, but "little Japanese". I know that as a fact cause I visited Kyiv in 2020 where everyone was speaking Russian.

There are many people in Ukraine, I am a Russian citizen of Ukrainian ancestry as my is Ukrainian, and I have folks of my extended family there, those who are older and have been living in rural parts usually speak Ukrainian or Surzhik, those who live in big cities, in the central and eastern part of Ukraine, speak Russian, but nowdays many of those don't want to use Russian anymore due to the political situation, even I speak to some of my relatives there in Ukrainian, because many people now simply hate my country now.

Are you able to recognize the Ukrainian and russian languages at all? In Kyiv mostly all people speak Ukrainian!

@vladv7019 I was in Kyiv in 2020. Everyone spoke Russian. In Ireland, there are 100000 Ukrainians, and everything I heard them they were talking Russian, only a few times overheard Ukrainian language. I spe8 myself Russian, Polish, and can distinguish Ukrainian, Bulgarian, Serbian languages.
