@@SycamoreTree thank you so much! I was actually in the new age a year in a half ago & the first thing the devil attacked me with was Mary & putting lies in my head. When I went back into my faith because of my mom waking up at 5am to do the rosary for me, I was still doubting. I had a lot of Protestants scare me even more with Mary. Saturday when she appeared to me it was at a retreat. I think it was her taking away my doubt and letting me know she’s real. She came with so much peace 🥹🥹🥹😢 I honestly was tearing up. She’s so beautiful. So now I know for sure, that the catholic faith is the truth faith. Don’t doubt what you experienced 30 years ago, you know it in your heart is real 🥹🤍 And hopefully my message builds up your faith :) God bless you! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you, Fr. Tyler, for giving us powerful reasons to consecrate ourselves to Mary. I’m very thankful to my Aunt who had me consecrated to her at the age of 13. Her reasons were: to dedicate my life to her in imitation to her holiness,to protect me from evil as my mother and pray the rosary to show my love to her. It’s a real happy life to experience her maternal love and care and to share it to her other children on earth. She loves us all.

I did the Marian Consecration last year. If you start on July 13 [Anniversary of 3rd Fatima apparition] you will finish and take the Consecration at the Solemnity of the Assumption. It will also include the feasts of Our Lady of Mt Carmel on Day 4, that of St Joachim and St Anne on Day 14 and that of the Dedication of the Basilica of St Mary Major on Day 24.

Can somebody please tell me where it says in the holy Bible that Mary was a sinless woman? And also can somebody please tell me where it says in the holy Bible that Jesus gave us Mary to go through so we can get to him.? Because the Bible I read says things totally different. The relationship with the God I have, Wondering if it's the same one you're talking about. Cuz I'm a bit confused.🙏✝️☝️

Dear Brent, 2,000 years of theologians have said to the answer to your question is in Genesis 3:15 and the Gospel of John. Regarding Mary having sin or not, in Genesis 3, both Jesus and Mary are said to be in a state of "enmity" against the serpent, which in the original Hebrew means "complete and radical opposition" to Satan. It is for this reason that it is not likely that God would have permitted Mary to inherit the condition of "original sin" from Adam and Eve. Any participation by her in the disorder and corruption of the soul that the rest of us inherit from Adam and Eve would place the Mother of Jesus at least partially under the sway of Satan and evil, and thereby contradict the complete "enmity" between Mary and Satan prophesied in Genesis 3. She still needed a savior to preserve her from sin in the first place because Jesus could not have co-existed with sin in the womb of a woman who had any sin. Regarding Mary, she was given by John from the cross and we were told to take her into our home. That is an euphemism for our heart. Why would Jesus tell us to do that if she doesn't help us? She is a gift. Every focus of Mary is to bring us to Jesus. That is not a bad thing. God bless

The Bible says you shall call no other man your father but your Father in Heaven God doesn't have a mom, He is the 1st and the Last. "In the beginning, there was God" He simply used a Mary to deliver himself in the flesh. She was a mere human just like us! "You shall have no other gods before me" The FIRST commandment God never told us to worship Mary, even jesus didn't worship Mary. St. Matthew 12:46-50

Thank you, but then why did Jesus call him "Father Abraham?" The 10 Commandment calls someone other than God “Father.” What do you call the man who sired you?; The rich man called out “Father Abraham” to come and dip his finger in cool water (parable LK 16:24); St. Paul calls religious leaders “fathers” in Acts 7:2 and 22:1; St. Paul tells the Corinthians in 1Cor4:15, “I became your father”; a priest is a “spiritual father” w/many children; Jesus in Jn 8:56 said, “Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." Jesus meant that there is only one creator, or one true father, one “Abba”. As the commandment testifies, Jesus did not mean to never call someone father in one sense. Jesus meant we are no longer under the covenant of the patriarchs (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob). We are now under the covenant of the one and only “Abba, the Father” Helps to know the history of Christianity.... that is how the theologians all explained it. I think they know better than you and me :) God bless.

Who worships Mary? Certainly not Catholics. That has never been Catholic teaching and never will be. There is no encyclical, papal bull, or any kind of magisterium statement in the history of the Church that says to worship Mary. So please be careful of the sin of slander in saying something very damaging that is not true. "To pray to" doesn't necessarily mean "to worship" but "to ask." Haven't you ever asked anyone to help you? We ask Mary to help her lead us to her son. To bow doesn’t necessarily mean worship either. Japanese businessmen bow when receiving your business card as a sign of honor. Are they worshipping you? Certainly not. God bless kzbin.info/www/bejne/pZmamHejn71gjrc

Thank you but your comment shows you do not understand the doctrine at all. Calling Mary the Mother of God does not refer to God in his divinity but Jesus Christ God incarnate in his humanity.

@@DivineMercy_Official I understand that completely, as she WAS His mother on earth! However, that does not justify encouraging people to pray to her rather than praying to the Lord Himself. We should only pray to the Lord our God, and nobody else, for any reason! God bless you my friend. ❤

Jesus placed his mother into the care of John simply because a woman in that culture needed a man to take care of her. This is why having sons was so important in Hebrew/Jewish culture. In other words, you're reading way too much into the crucifixion narrative to justify a practice. There is no way one could get the notion of "Marian consecration" from John's account of the crucifixion without presupposing it; that is, anachronistically reading this practice back onto the text. In other words, this is an argument from silence.

Thank you but Jesus would not have placed Mary into the care of John for those purposes because John's natural mother was actually there next to him at the cross.

This teaching is not Biblical
@hawaii3199
@hawaii3199 2 жыл бұрын
Dear Greg: This teaching comes from Sacred Tradition which itself is very biblical (see 2 Tim 2:2, 2 Thess 2:15, Luke 10:16, Romans 10:17, 1 Cor. 11:12, 1 Cor. 15:3,11, Acts 2:42, and so many others) The Bible is very clear that the Bible is not the sole Christian authority. When Martin Luther claimed that, he was in grave error, by being contrary to the Bible, contrary to History, contrary to Sacred Tradition, and contrary to the Church established by Christ. We’re glad you watched this excellent video, though, and there are so many people now praying for you, and hopefully with you. Blessings….

Try reading the gospel of Luke. Hail full of Grace. The angel Gabriel appeared to our Blessed Mother and at the foot of the cross, Jesus gave Mary to John, Behold your Mother. Behold your son, Jesus said, to John. Jesus's final moments.

Traditions can be good (ie. The Thanksgiving holiday) or bad (see Matthew chapter 15). Essentially, any tradition or belief that is contrary to God's Word (the Bible) is bad and must be discarded. At 6:04 in this video the claim is made that Mary was without sin. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God". We all need a Savior, including Mary. Jesus is the only person to have lived without sinning. This qualified Him to die for our sins. There are other points that could be made but this is the most obvious.

2 Thessalonians 2:15 “So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.” We can see that Paul advocates for the following of traditions not explicitly mentioned “by letter” i.e. the Bible Of course nothing we believe should contradict scripture but that’s why we have apostolic authority in the Church to properly discern the meaning of scripture.

Since after the Incarnation, God has His Mother who is spending eternity with Him ,why not go through her as one the attendances in the Wedding at Cana approached her and at the final wish of His ,He gave his mother, The Mother of God already. These two points intergrate the mind of God in the Holy Scripture that Mary is necessary for our salvation.
