This man was a true gentleman and he knew about the system that was created to destroy the native people of America. He clearly understood what is really going on and he was not afraid to use his platform to help share the plight of the Indians. What a man he was and an incredible actor as well

I love Brando but when AIM needed him the most he became disinterested. He was the same way with the civil rights movement but doesn’t mean his ideals and principles weren’t a positive advocacy he just would check out a lot of times.

Kinda seems silly in my opinion to debate whether Sacheen Littlefeather was a true Indian or not. The thing that gets me the most from all this is that Marlon Brando, whether he intended to or not, was probably the one who started the snowball effect that lead to actors being overly and obnoxiously political from their platform when their job is to entertain. And now look what we have today.

..... You can fool some of the people all of the time, and you can fool all of the people some of the time, but u cannot fool all of the people all of the time..... A maxim that would have stood ole Marlon well, had he heeded it instead of renting out that Mexican girl to play a Native American, during a moment where it had dubious merit, if any.
