I've always believed that mutants could just be Inhumans that evolved over time to unlock their Inhuman abilities without the use of terrigen crystals. Was unfortunate the Inhuman movie got scrapped for the TV show, such an easy way of bringing the mutants into the MCU by saying, "Oh, those Inhumans, yeah mutants are just them but they don't need terrigen."

No. The mutants and Inhumans are fundamentally different. The inhumans were engineered, the mutants are completely natural. It's a huuuuge part of the X-Men that they are literally just people that are naturally different, it's like their whole shtick. It's why they are split into the mutants are better than man and mutants are equal to man and should protect them with their natural gifts thing and also a key narrative feature to them. They are used as an allegory for racism and discrimination, and saying "oh they're just descendants of genetically modified people" is taking away from that idea, it removes them from humanity.

The major thing I truly want marvel to do that was set up in agents of shield is when Lady Sif tells Phil Coulson that Thor will be thrilled to learn he’s alive but Phil asks to be the one to tell him. The Perlmutter and Feige fued has a lot of collateral damage. Watching agents of shield, their dimensional multiverse shenanigans don’t interfere with or break“He who remains” TVA shenanigans involving policing universe 19999/“616”. Armor, SHIELD, Fury’s secret SWORD (not SABER) could have been in the background hiding the entire time to protect against paradoxes specifically the kind that rip open the fabric of reality that could cause a collapse. Hiding until the moment to reveal themselves when it was safe to do so.

I heard that whenever the Inhumans are introduced in the main MCU they’re all going to be mutants to make it easier for casual and non Marvel fans to identify them because if you really think about it mutants and Inhumans are very similar in so many ways its not really easy telling the difference between them unless you have Professor X and Megneto next to Black Bolt and Medusa but when you put lesser known characters together it’s not easy figuring out who’s a mutant and who’s an Inhuman this is kind of a problem that follows the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man they got their powers differently but they’re not classified as mutants or Inhumans and super soldiers isn’t the right term for them either enhanced might work but it still doesn’t have a fitting ring when you’re having a conversation about Spider-Man

I am curious how they'll do this. To just say she's actually been a mutant all along would be lazy. I can think that while alive her being inhuman made her X-gene dormant and her dying allowed Krakoa to recognize her as a mutant. Or she went through her inhuman transformation but she had a dormant X-gene that never activated and it blocked inhuman transformation and woke up mutant not inhuman. Though with the way Inhumans transform it was always assumed she was inhuman but she woke up from the cocoon a mutant. Meaning the X-gene is dominant and overpowered the her Inhuman side. The latter would help explain how she can still have the same powers. I'm just rambling until something makes sense.

Unpopular take: Hollywood's waking up to the fact that the comic book model of spawling "universes" and hundreds of characters and storylines actually only appeals to a small group of people which can keep it together and as it expands, most normal folks lose interest because it's so overwhelming. Charlie you do an incredible job trying to tie it all up for everyone, but even your almost 5million subscribers (wow! Congrats!) aren't the global action movie market. I think most people are well past the "wat da heck?" stage and have lost interest. Disney knows this and that's why they've also announced they are cutting back on Marvel and SW productions. "R.I.P. Marvel Cinematic Universe. Deadpool played himself." 😅 Anyways, keep it up!

You may have some valid points. Disney thought they could do Infinity War / Endgame again but they all took a long time to come to fuition (10 years from Iron Man to Infinity War) and I don't people have that patience now.

I want to see the MCU of- Runaways Young Avengers Future Foundation New Warriors Power Pack Cloak and Dagger Champions And have cross over movies. I even see it happen that when they do the X-men franchise in the MCU, that Ms Marvel is joining the team instead of some of the other 'core'. Or they do a Young X-men with Ms Marvel and X-23 (or a version of X-23) that we saw in the Logan movie

This made me want to start reading comics again. I'm from the late 80's to mid 90's comic era (Had a subscription service and a comic store membership card). The new artwork looks amazing and the different story lines sound intriguing. If the writing is just as good as the packaging I'm looking forward to returning to my old hobby!

Wow man dude I’m ngl I was so posed when they killed off Ms. Marvel and she was such a cool character like dawg so Kamala Khan is now a mutant I wasn’t expecting this but a comic book character being killed off always come back somehow and someway but either way I jus loved Ms. Marvel bc of the Champions Ms. Marvel, Spider-Man Miles Morales and Nova Sam Alexander I loved all these guys these were my big three for young avengers in the comics so ye this recon sounds weird yet it’s jus comic book stories and characters I love so ye I’m hyped for more X-Men and Mutants being in the MCU. So can’t wait for more breakdowns and Easter eggs!
