This was a very informative and interesting tutorial. I learned several things from it. I like how well you explain and demonstrate your thought process. It's very helpful. I will definitely be doing my master boards differently and with more thought. I have never heard of Inkbox cards before. TFS your knowledge and creativity with us!❤

Margarete, you are 1st that actually did a Masterboard that makes sense. I've done it before and gave up as I could not stand the tags, etc cut from it. In future I'll plan cuts 1st and then work as systematically as you have explained. Thank you for sharing.❤❤

I go for serendipity. Usually i do torn pieces from a stash/left over box, book pages, etc. Then paints, inks, gelatos, etc. Then images, washi tape etc. Turn over the sheet (usually 12 x12) and cut the sizes I need: maybe a full A2 card background or smaller for layering or tags or ATCs etc. If a piece does not make my eye sing, then additional images, stamping etc. What fun for what I call ugly papers. Ah, gesso is a delightful magician turning less pleasing to stunning.

I think an easier way to save time is to cut out those marked sizes as templates. 1. Cover an entire page with background pages. 2.cover entirely with pretty pcs. 3. Use templates to cut out. 4. Voila! you have cards ready to use add stamp if necessary!

Yep, it's as simple as you think it is. You don't even need to tear out any pages. If you're looking for a small book to use, I was in CVS the other day and they have these tiny composition notebooks that would be perfect. They're super small with lots of pages. Just wrap the covers in a pretty paper and then fold all the pages. 😉❣️👍🏼

I loved watching this. I have a question: The washi tape had buildings that seemed fussy cut when you put them on the masterboard. Am I right in assuming they were fussy cut? How did you do that? I have a hard time imagining fussy cutting an adhesive material without much frustration.
