I'm in the middle of watching this video but I just want to say don't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes you have to take a little bit of a risk. You have good protections in place but sometimes situations will come up and you'll have to switch things up (like you did). It stopped relatively early and at least the guy replied to you with a response. It's a just a hard, weird time to try to find someone to connect with. I really do wish you all the best.

thanks for the good app advice to follow! understandably frustrating to pull back after phone call request, i cant see the point of initiating contact with you if they werent prepared to have a simple chat, oh well, maybe they had more than one option on the go and you forced him to make a choice. warm weather to look forward to this week.

Awww. I see you didn't have a Shirley Valentine when you went to Greece and meet the man of your dreams. I recall reading about a guy who went on holiday and "found love". When he got home she just vanished. Perhaps the most shocking was that he had a £2000 credit card bill he couldn't pay.

What if you replace the video/facetime call with going on a date in person? For me, it's more personal talking to someone in person versus facetime. I like your process overall though. What are your thoughts on being friends first before dating? I get that it's still a risk of them backing out. I wish there was an easier way to screen the other person.

Thank you. I designed it to primarily be safe as a female, but also to find out if a man likes you. If a man likes you, and is secure, he will agree to an initial phone call. If he doesn't then he either doesn't want to date, or is not interested in any emotional bonding (just sex). When you are younger you can be more fluid and just go for drinks etc, (I did). But now I'm older my time is more valuable, so if I go on a date it has to be worth my while.
