How TF o abandoned catacombs double as tourst spots? Did you know clickbait is seriously frowned upon by YT, they will nuke a channel over it and not blink an eye.
@brunol-p_g88002 жыл бұрын
While it’s a very interesting experience to visit the catacombs, I urge everyone to stick to the safe and charted opened to tourists area. It’s a very small portion of the catacombs, other non opened to visiting areas are frequently used by Parisians for rave parties, movies, etc. Those parts of the catacombs, while non-opened, are well known by locals and while it’s illegal, can be ventured in with someone who knows them well, but never alone. The rest of the tunnels, the vast majority of the catacombs, are uncharted, sometimes forgotten for centuries, and unsafe to visit. A whole lot of people disappear in them every year, even locals with knowledge of the non opened to visit but frequented tunnels die in them, and I urge it, shouldn’t be visited by anyone. If you get lost in it, if you pass out due to lack of oxygen, if your flashlights go dead, If you get blocked by rocks falling, etc. Be advised that nobody is coming for you: there is no signal down there, and even if someone you know alerts the authorities there is a 99% chance they won’t find you, it’s uncharted territory as I said…

Why does the thumbnail for this video show an abandoned early ‘30s Ford pickup truck supposedly in the tunnels? Click bait to find out what it’s doing there? It wasn’t shown or mentioned in the story.

So I love your channel and have always been impressed with the professional level of editing and research. And my honest opinion is adding the shots of yourself in between detracts from the documentary that you have created. It now feels like KZbin where before it was discovery/natgeo level.

Did Paris have a higher than average death rate? I mean that there weren't a whole lot of people back then so that many died? What did other cities do??

Clearly preservation and reverence for the deceased being at odds, what’s the point? If the best you can do to respect the dead is to randomly stack bones to be efficient regarding space, just cremate or buy a wood chipper!

this could be my lack of knowledge about USB microphones but to me it seems like you're just using a rode wireless/"beltpack" system with a studio mic without XLR (though it is connected through Micro-USB) connected to it. what is up with this setup and why are you double mic-ing?

So where do the bodies go these days in Paris?
@ziggyzap1 Жыл бұрын
As Above, So Below. I have first learned of it from the tv show Scariest Places on Earth. I think there is too much negativity from all of the death in the tunnels, who knows what lies down in the very very deepest sections.

Question: for people who don’t watch the whole video can we have a TL:DR

Good video but not new subject matter. My question is where are the dead buried today ? Any new cemeteries must be far outside of the city limits.

The overflowing grave yards of London and Paris where some of the first key lessons on why humans should not congregate in cities. SARS and COVID19 are some of the last. The apocalypse is coming and we have no one to blame but ourselves. The writing was in the construction of the walls.
