I remember going across this as a kid in the 90s, about 25 miles out in Leonardo, we stopped at this convenient store I think it was called Quick Stop. We were waiting in the car when my dad went into the store. I remember my mum making a snarky comment about these two stoners just standing outside of the store! Then when my dad got back in the car, he was telling her about the clerk inside talking to a customer in front of him. Wouldn’t shut up about it was his day off and he’s not even supposed to be here today. When he walked out one of the stoners asked him if he wanted to buy a dime bag. The other one didn’t say anything, my parents thought he was a mute!

People actually think that the mob would kill somebody in Michigan and then bring the body to jersey city to bury it under the Pulaski skyway? They killed him and got rid of the body somewhere close where he would never be found they probably cremated him or chopped him up and got rid of the pieces

I was always a fan of Drive Ins! Growing up, it was a family thing. I was lucky enough to even take my high school sweetheart, getting to do all the drive-in stuff!! ;-) Plus, it was two movies. An absolute bonus!

Secret means.... "not known or seen or not meant to be known or seen by others" There is a difference between something that was designed and built and known about such as this apartment within the Eiffel tower and something that was hidden for no one to find out about.

There is a underground railway system that runs all across the country in the United States its top secret, very few people know of it . From the east coast to the west coast and north Dakota to Colorado and New Mexico and Nevada, i know someone who worked on It for years he told me about it just before he passed away from cancer. A very close friend. So i know that he was telling me details before he passed away because he wanted to share his thoughts before he passed, we had been friends for over 45 years.. rip Ed,

As a Chicagoan born and raised resident. O Block is wack, there are much vibrant neighborhoods. Jackson park, Humboldt Park, China Town, Brickyard, Lincoln Square etc...I'm tired of everyone only recognizing this jacked up neighborhood.

Fort Knox Gold Depository does NOT hold the largest amount of gold in the USA, it has the largest amount of "Government" or US Gold in this country. The place where the most Gold is held in the US is at the Federal Reserve Bank in Lower Manhattan, which holds gold from many nations and the US. The place they steal the gold from in "Die Hard with a Vengeance"...

I am not both a Cubs fan and White Sox fan I liked when we kept the name of new comosky park Reinsdorf in my opinion made two of the biggest mistakes in the world by getting rid of the greatest bullshit teams of all time and also changing the name of the park twice I still like the white Sox and bulls but I don't like their owners this new stadium they are building I hope at least for one thin they keep the fireworks going after a home run

Thanks for the history lesson, I grew up in 60’s 70’s SF and somehow little if any of the bay area’s wartime history was ever talked about. In our teens and 20’s the entire Bay Area was history to be explored right under our noses and about all we knew of it was that places like Hunters Point and Richmond were slums and places best avoided, nothing about the amazing contributions to the war effort. If it wasn’t for the internet the history would largely be lost and forgotten.
