Appreciate the info and the podcast. All facts. But one thing that also is not talked about is property taxes. Friend of mine bought a home 2 years ago according to her budget. 2 years later the house went up in value, but SO DID THE TAXES. her taxes monthly went from $450 a month to $850 a month. Way over her budget. It’s almost as if America is becoming inhabitable for anyone making under $100k. And even making $100k you can barely afford at 2 bedroom 1 bath home. And why are the prices almost the same across different regions and coasts? This game is rigged! How can those on a fixed income who own a home keep up with the cost of living including taxes? 🤷🏾‍♂️🙏🏾🙏🏾
