Thanks so much for your beautiful video. I've been to Greece 3 times in a row and finally now with Covid dying down (hopefully) am headed to my 4th trip. It was almost Milos but decided on Syros so I could volunteer with a cat rescue group there. Your experience with the neighbors is so typically Greece. Greeks are so friendly and helpful.

If there isn't enough to say, you want to see waters that blow away the rest of the world even more? Just go to beaches like Egremni, Porto Katsiki, Navagio, Voutoumi, Kavourotrypes, Fteri, Myrtos, Elafonisi, Balos Lagoon and so on. Just Egremni alone has so ridiculously blue waters, it's crazy. Anyway. Greece is spectacular in all ways. It's 80% mountains, it's landscapes, it's seascapes, it's history, towns and villages, and geological and natural paradises of all kinds. Anyone who has had the opportunity to Greece to Greece for a long time or multiple times to many areas know what I mean

Been there 3 times, don't miss the boat trip around the island, ask them to take you to polyegos also. Best visit at late June or early September where winds are mild and you can enjoy all the beaches of the island.

Ian and Anna - This was a great video. We learned very quickly that visiting Milos would be a nice compliment to Santorini. It looks like renting a car or ATV is important. The big question is where can You rent one ? We have visited Crete, Corfu, and Monamvasia vis Cruise Ship. We though Corfu and Crete were the most beautiful.

Beautiful island! I only visited Rhodes and Crete. I live in a touristic city with blue ocean beaches so when I travel(usually Europe) I like to walk all day and get to know the city I'm in.

For cheap but delicious food I recommend the pork or chicken gyros at Yankos shack in Adamas next to the bus stop.
7-8 euro for a gyros and a beer. One for lunch and one for dinner is all you need. And for breakfast, try the whole/full fat (6.5g) goat’s milk yougurt (with or without honey and nuts). It is soo delicious.

 Also. If you plan on going by ferry I highly recommend the Seajet Catamaran service. Much faster than regular ferry and well worth the extra cost. Milos is a lovely island.

If you were blown out of your mind for the sea in Milos wait till you visit the Ionian islands like Zakinthos Leykada better Kephallonia and finally the smallest ones like Paxos and Antipaxos the smallest diamond. I guarantee you that the tirkouaz waters will let you with your mouth open.

Out of a the countries I've been to around the world, nowhere has as many beautiful beaches surrounding every island like Greece. Even the beaches in Athens are decent. Amazing country but it did get pricey for us. I think accommodation was what added up the most.

Milos is very popular for Greek people ,mostly couples visit it! There is a myth that says that after visiting Milos island the couple will be separate , don’t ask me how this came up 😂😳😳😂. It’s a really unique island glad you enjoyed
