When I saw first time I got confusion. After saw few times I understand. First take -2*-3. -2 means he need to face negative side and -3 means he go to walk backwards. Second +2*-3. +2 means he need to face positive side and -3 means he go to walk backwards. Or first digit symbol shows which direct he need to face and move backwards based on numbers which we need to multiple. This concept only for when there is one or two minus symbol. When there is no minus symbol then this concept will not applicable

Hi Boss I am an Acctt. Not a mathematician. As far as I know, there is no multiplication in maths. But it is just simplified version of addition / subtraction When we say 2 x 3, it means that add 2 for three times. Like 2 + 2 + 2 or vice versa add 3 for 2 times Like 3 + 3. When we want to -2 -2 -2 -2 -------- - 8 -------- This can be written in a simplified way -2 x 4 Then how the sign - comes. Suppose if you add rupees, you will get Rs 8. If you add apples, you will get 8 apples. Because you are minuses, you are getting 8 minus If it is vice versa, you have to subtract 4 two times. If you subtract 4 for two times from 0 Does it make any sense ?

I like your videos, I used to watch them regularly. But this video, I'm sorry, you've misunderstood a few things. In real world, you cannot do that. It's a mathematical concept to be able to multiply two negative numbers, but in reality in real world applications you cannot do that anywhere (of course, you can do it in mapping coordinates in a graph based on a center origin point), but in reality this concept itself is erroneous, just like saying anything divided by zero is infinity. Trust me, both are wrong.

Mr. Prem.. Pls do correct me if I'm wrong. When there's an alert that weather is going to increase 3 times particularly in cold countries, then it would mean the coldness is going to get worst (meaning more in minus and so more snow). Logically too, temperature cannot jump from - 18 to +36 all of a sudden. Although I'm aware that this is just an example, I personally feel you as a person making genuine videos, it might misguide many students. Bcoz you're changing the sign of 3 from positive to negative only with the assumption that temperature is going to increase. But as of my understanding, 3 should stay as positive (instead of changing it to negative) and so the person will move forward on the number scale. Meaning the predicited temperature will be -54 degree, which is actually realistic in many north pole countires. Whereas, a quick jump from -18 to +36 is not logical as the weather change from winter to summer would happen even in cold regions only after a phase called spring. Hope you would consider this and make the change if possible (also if needed). Keep up your good work bro. Let me know your or your team's view on this.

Let me try a simpler explanation. Bro. Negative sign represents change to opposite direction. Eg. let x be the north then -x is the south. And now -(-x) is ? Your guess is right. Ans is north. That is opposite of opposite of north is again north. Here +is north and -is south. Hence proved. That's all bro. Or in number line. - means a turn of 180 degree which is opposite direction. Let plus x means 0 degree change in direction. -x means 180 degree change in direction, Then -×- is 2 times 180 degree which means 360 degree = 0degree again in same position, the positive. There fore -×-=+.

this can be proved without number line idea also: now 7-(3-1)=5.next step 7-3-x-1= 4-x-1= 5.Therefore -x-1 should become +1. so that 4+1 becomes 5.Which means "-x-"becomes "+"This is another method
