Moses never went anywhere to meet God. He went to meet the ANGEL of Jehovah who was sent to speak for God. The Angel speaking for God told Moses. (Exodus 33:20) But he added: “You cannot see my face, for no man can see me and live.” Moses wouldn't have been around to record anything had he actually seen God.

@@jovinmclovin : That is correct! Jesus is an angel of Jehovah. However, God only used Jesus to speak in the First Century when the Jewish system was going to end (Hebrews 1:2). Other angels of Jehovah spoke earlier. May I ask a question. What did Jesus mean when he said "Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. " Did Jesus mean that he WAS the Father?
