The reason most English learners don't become fluent speakers is NOT because of their age, their location, how much they study, or even how much they speak. The real problem is how well they understand what they learn. And since most English lessons STOP you from understanding English, many English learners don't develop fluency.
Instead, you need to learn English as a first language, which helps you understand and feel confident about what you learn. THEN, you speak. This video shows you how. :)

Thanks Drew! I always learn a lot from your videos. I'm sure you're completely right, learning as if we were learning our first language really works. I'm improving a lot since I stopped using video with translation or from people teaching using my mother tongue. Thanks again!

Is it useful the process you teach if we starting from scratch with a language? I thought a bidirectional method was a goog way to start. Thanks for your videos, I enjoyem a lot.

I love your way of teaching simply because it's the best ever! 🤩 And you give so much of yourself that we can’t fail. Firstly by respect, and then because your method is far beyond any other.👍🏻😍

I feel more confidence with myself if i'm watching something out of your videos and while i'm listening you, i just think like, like i can really understand a lot what you're speaking about, but when i try to speak on my own, seems like it's totally impossible to do without any doubts and struggling because i start to feel my absolutely unconfidence condition which goes through my highest own stress. It's odd, but it works how it works, and i can't do nothing with my stress when it happens, and it happens all the time when i'm trying to make some conversation with anyone in English) In the moment words just don't wanna come out of my head when I wanna pull them out) It's weird, yeah i know, and i think that it happens everytime because i can't comprehend something from rules of grammar, or may be it's because i very stressful man)

Unfortunately, in a test-oriented environment where there are not 24/4 native speakers around you to practice with you, ESLstudents can’t find a way out so easily to become fluent in a natural learning process.

The environment is all around you, like right here on KZbin. You simply need to feel confident enough to speak by UNDERSTANDING the language like a native. This is actually how you build fluency. THEN, you speak. :)

Hey teach You've said in one of your videos is that to maintain fluency we should understand words by hearing more examples, so there's a wbsit named ueglish basically you type a word and it shows you natives pronouncing it in sentences. Is it good website? I'd love to enroll your course but unfortunately im broke 😂

And Don't you think that enhancing writing and enhancing speaking are related? If we practiced writing and can form a sentence correctly eventually with some confidence it'll lead to communicating properly
