I feel like it makes more sense that Mothra is a species. Since we know that the Gojira species or at least Godzilla specifically has a symbiotic relationship with Mothra. Her lore has a lot of religious and spirituality undertones and a lot of her origin is basically that she is the earth's answer to threats. Even when her egg is destroyed the planet just makes a new one in some iterations of her story. I think in the monsterverse they'll keep her as the sole titan member of her species, with maybe tiny bioluminescent versions of her living in that island we haven't seen.

Actually according to the official measurements Mothra's wingspan is 244 m. This means that 1 pair of wing should be 122 meters, literally just as tall as Godzilla himself. In the movie we don't get as much size comparison, but it was innacurate when Queen crawled onto Godzilla, her whole wingspan is literally just as big as Goji when it should've been twice as big. Some say Rodan burned her wings so it became smaller, but if he really did burn her wings to that extent then the infamous eye in her wings should've be gone-gone.

Why is Mothra so tiny in comparison to the other Titans? She's all wings. The original Toho design was quite large.....Miothra vs. Godzilla is a fine example.

Where did you get that Godzilla is female? In the toho movies Godzilla is genderless and in the monsterverse Godzilla is a male.

Well she did in GKOTM! Mothra could've delivered a fatal wound with her stinger but didn't. I will concede that Rodan had the upper hand during most of the fight.

Although i didn't watch this video but uh Mothra got beaten badly by Rodan like REALLY badly she could have died if she didn't use her stinger Although she did made Godzilla into Thermo she still kinda useless in either way Godzilla would demolish Rodan hard and if Rodan didn't bow he would have been beaten badly also This is your opinion anyway soooooooo Have fun i guess 🤷

mothra could have killed rodan but chose not to fatally stab him, he is the one that could have been killed, Mothra knew rodan would bow to godzilla after the fight no sense in killing him, just incapacitate. Basically Rodan was trying to kill, Mothra just aimed to incapacitate, which is harder to do when someone is trying to kill you Making godzilla Thermo and then being able to reincarnate seems like a hardly useless skillset, its extremely overpowered to just have that set cards to play basically anytime. Their opinion is researched, yours is based on some shallow headcanon about rodan beating mothra even though it couldn't.

@@LeLuigi1955 lol, no plot armor means there is no Rhodan to fight Mothra since Ghidorah would have killed him on their first fight as Godzilla movies do, Rhodan isn't smart enough to stay away. Since you want to be selective with your plot armor, I wonder how the fight would have gone if Mothra actually wanted to kill Rhodan and Rhodan didn't get to surprise attack her. finally, in your dream scenario of Rhodan beating Mothra: Mothra would still fuse with Godzilla, and Rhodan would have died to the first Mothra/Godzilla pulse. While Mothra reincarnates for the next movie. there's no scenario in which Rhodan emerges victorious. You should really thank Mothra that Rhodan is still around. Rhodan wasn't spared once, or twice in this movie, but three whole times that's the biggest plot armor I've seen in the span of 2 hours. 😔✊

i like how she was portrayed, but i do wish she had used more of her abilities, itd be fun if she reflects some beams and shoots some of her own in the next movie.
