Why My Arowanas Don't Jump ? How I Clean Arowana Fish Tank ?

Here is the reason why my arowanas don't jump. Also get to know how I clean the big arowana fish tank. This is my eight feet fish tank with a pair of three year old silver arowana fish. This is how I perform aquarium water changes every time.
Silver arowana fish though is not at all a beginner aquarium fish type but if trained and maintained in a right way is a very rewarding fish as it grows and transforms into a silver dragon fish. Here are few tips on silver arowana fish keeping and silver arowana fish tank maintenance.

Jab mai thailand gaya tha tab ek arowana guzar gayi. Kyuki first time mere family members care le rahe they aur properly water changes nahi hue. Isliye fish tank room ke kafi fishes ki mortality ho gayi jaise sare tiger barbs ki aur fancy gold fish ki bhi. So ye demotivating aur sad part hai hamari hobby ka. Jis hobby se hume sabse zyada khushi milti hai ussi hobby se kabhi hume ye bad times bhi face karne padta hai. Bohot zyada bura lagta hai but then you have to move on accepting that this is the part of the hobby.

Hello, sj.. You can use sponge filter in place of air stone, will give you benefits of both airation and filtration... Also use 3d Rocky background or 3d poster background... it will enhance the look of tank and fishes.. 😊

As you know this is a giant tank so I'll have to use two jumbo sponge filters so obviously they are going to occupy lot of space. I'm already having 4 stage filtration in my canister filter so need of any extra filter that would be visible inside the tank and occupy space too. Also sponge filters should never be used for giant fishes. Canister or Sump is best and it also functions outside the tank unlike sponge filter. And I don't like 3d background because it somewhat looks fake. But thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks a lot. The results are totally worth of all the years of love, attention and care. And this feeling cannot be expressed in words. Also this hobby gives us so immense happiness but sometimes the same hobby can be so demotivating and we have to face the hard times too. We are just left helpless and sad. Thanks a lot. No it's not necessary to remove the cover. As this is a huge wooden shed, I have to remove it to clean the dust. Also for the content purpose that the arowanas don't jump without any cover I had to do so. Otherwise sometimes when weekly water changes is required then I do it with the shed on. About the air stone once a seller told me that you should replace them because after some time the volume of air bubbles decrease as compared to when it's new. I don't know whether its true because I really haven't seen anything as such but just to be on a safe side I do it.

Bro use a pvc pipe and insert it on the pipe. It will become much easier to handle. U dont have to use any cement sheet or anything for support. Thats how i do it for many years

Yes but you can notice there are two broad support bars on the tank due to which I cannot move the pipe easily around the entire tank. If pvc pipe is used then it would be quite difficult If I have to remove it from one end of the tank and quickly add again to the other end of the tank because it is not flexible and won't bend but this can be done easily in the case of a normal pipe. You can see on the left side of the tank I've already used a pvc pipe to extend the canister inlet. I had also tried it to suck out water but was not that convenient. Maybe it would be helpful for small size tanks and tanks without big support bars. But thanks for the suggestion.

Maybe it has got used to light. Try reducing the time of keeping it under light and do the feeding and siphoning with the light turned off.
