2015 Honda Accord, slight to noticeable vibration when turning on, it also vibrates when the car is coming to a stop, so I have to release the brake pedal a little to lower the vibration. It vibrates bad when the car is at a complete stop and I turn on the AC, no vibration when car is moving and AC is turned on.

Check the side engine mount very common for it to brake and cause this vibration

@@RBTheMechanic I checked the engine mounts, turns out the front and back engine mounts were completely gone, like there wasn’t any rubber anymore. Replaced those two and now the car doesn’t vibrate anymore.

@@devincrooks3872 check your front and back engine mounts, mine were practically non existent. You can see if they have cracks or visible wear and tear. These kind of problems usually are mount related so check every mount.

Thanks so much for this video. Mine only vibrates when the car is not moving but the gear is engaged on drive. If I push the gear to neutral or park, the vibration stops. Even when it’s on drive, and I throttle a little the vibration smoothens out. Is this still the engine mounts or something else?

Mine is 2005 accord 2.0 same problem i have. When it is in park and idle vibration at minimum but drive and r position motor speed is lower and vibration starts. I changed motor mounts but they are not orijinal and it is not solved. But i dont think it is related to mount. It must be about low motor speed.

Low idle do throttle service it should fix that low idle issue and u wount have to press peddle to bring rpm up

so I have this issue on scion tc.. new plugs, coils, and clean throttle, good compression, and no exhaust in coolant.. my last resort is MAF and mounts. going to do them anyway.. my car seems to be a lot more noticeable when any kind of load is on the engine while on rev/drive.. ex: turning the steering wheel while at a stop, windows down, AC. Does this seem reasonable? as in it's a 'normal' shake, just that the mounts aren't dampening the vibrations?

My 2013 civic seems to run rough whenever the fan kicks on and the voltage sags (I have a voltage meter hooked up). Does that mean the fan is close to going bad?

U said so many things well rough idle could be throttle need cleaning or bad mounts ur feeling vibration. And about the voltage that’s diffrent could be due to low idle speed that causing alternator not to run fast enough to build correct about voltage or it’s going bad the alternator

I changed all 4 motor mounts on dodge avenger 2.4 two were torn I had vibration in reverse before I changed them now after changing all mounts every gear is smooth but still vibrates when I go into reverse and it seems to got worse after changing the mounts could this be cause these are cheap after market mounts?

@@RBTheMechanic I figured out my problem is the front motor engine mount even tho new it’s just bad crappy quality that’s why the vibration in reverse got even worse I tested it and put the old one with some tear in it now can hardly feel the vibration so do you recommend mopar mounts for my avenger or where could I buy the original mount?

mine (04 accord euro, 275k kms) shakes ..sometimes? Like first idle after starting to drive in the morning (ac off) it will shake a bit for like 20sec then be fine from then on (ac off). And, sometimes with AC on it doesnt shake (proper warmed up also).. yet sometimes it just decides it needs to shake??? engine mounts? I would have thought it would be constant... could it be a bad pulley putting excess load on the engine or something.. guess i need a mechanic

That’s start up misfire u need scan tool to see live data to see which cylinder is misfiring

Check all mount also check what the idle rpm is with ac on. If it’s below 800 maybe time for throttle cleaning

My engine (toyota yaris 2015 model) was vibrating everytime my ac was turned on. Replaced the engine mounts and it still was shaky. At the end turns out that my AC freon was running low 🤣😂
