I like this channel because it shows what Koreans could hardly see. Compared with other international couple programs, Jin and Raye have an excellent sense of what and how to make videos, without being chauvinistic, for international subscribers as well as Korean and/or American.

This comment really made my day. Thank you so much! We're putting in a lot of effort to give you guys good content so I really appreciate what you wrote. I wish you and your family happy holidays!
It's nice you gave Jin a tour of your old high school! I graduated years ago and have no desire to revisit any of that. We used to carry our books in huge book bags because we hated stopping at the lockers during the day, with schools banning bags I'm sure the kids have to stop at the lockers more often now. And snow days are a thing of the past with virtual learning, that's so not cool!
I recognize this high school. I did my student teaching here-you probably saw that they were in the news this past year โน I love how the school is set up, it's really cheerful inside. So cool that your art is still there!!!
They are always in the news for something haha when I went to school there, it was bomb threats, gang wars and tons of all crazy stuff...that's why it felt so weird touring this school again as an adult. The facilities are so awesome, but my experience being a student there was such a nightmare...

i became a recent subscriber and saw a familiar building in this thumbnail which turned out to also be my high school! what a small world ๐ฅบ๐ raye and jin i hope for the best for your channel! rooting for the both of you
Wow! It is such a small world! What year did you graduate???
If you missed just one of your disappointed history, you wouldn't met Jin in this life. Good job Raye! Way to go!! Your life just get started with your soul mate.
That's a great way to look at it! โค

Raye, that's a good one. You were a HERO for few seconds, then ZERO. I don't think I can forget that either. Hilarious!
this was a great overview of American schools. Yes your school was huge Americans have every opportunity for a good education and it is free.
Our school was big because they built only one school to house ALL students from the surrounding cities. It had to be big! I think the American education system is good on the surface....but there are so many problems with it as well. When I was young, we still had the "no child left behind" policy which meant teachers basically taught us how to pass tests rather than learn useful information. I also was unlucky to grow up when cellphones and technology were becoming more mainstream...bullying and harassment were really extreme during that time...not to mention, although the education is free, not everything is free. For families that don't have much money (like my own), it's difficult or impossible to take advantage of most opportunities available (sports, groups, trips, tutoring, etc.)
I knew u r so smart girl. Especially when u talk with americans. Your expression and questions are so sharp, straightforward and clear.
Raye . Anyway U would felt something that U could not feel when middle school student. and that is not only the time past. but something we miss from the past, I think. I hope U two always be happy with your lives and accomplish what you want.
Your high school is so much bigger than the one i went to, and ive been to 2 different high schools. i really like what you both have shown us in your home town.
Oh thank you! The high school is just big because it was built to include students from many cities in the area whereas a typical school would be built just for one specific city.
Itหs always same, when you are young you hate the school or university, when you older, you wanna come back to school, because it was super
I think the tools were all there to lead me towards a successful education and future, but the people (students and teachers) at the time affected the overall environment negatively and made my experience pretty negative.
This high school is not only massive, but it's also well equipped and clean. I wish I could move there to send my kids to this school. I didn't realize until now that such high school exists.
The school facilities are very nice. However, I think the administration is really bad so I wouldn't recommend attending this school.
@@rayejin Can't be worse than the ones in CA. How are the teachers? Do they care?
Wow the schoolโs so big and it looks like it is almost impossible to get used to where everything is in 4 years time :) Is the whole school in the same time zone? Lol Great video, thanks guys!
The goal on the other side! So Jin freaked your 'husband touchdown' on the other side of U.S.A. But the 'husband touchdown' isn't idiot but genius!
WOW. It's gigantic. Thanks for giving us a chance to know American high schools.
That high school has so much space! I went to HS in NYC and I can barely move through human traffic every period. It was still fun though so that's all that matters.
Wow, that's a huge high school (especially coming from me since I went to a small American school). Is it massive because there's no other high school in the area? Anyway, I'm new to your channel and have been binge watching all your old videos to get up to speed. They're great!
It's massive because we have so many students in the area (we had so many students that they actually created a second high school close by that is even bigger then what I showed you in this video....). Also, income and local taxes in Minnesota are quite high so perhaps it's easier to fund this type of school.
