Prices Elder's are not qualified to give council, but especially in situations like this. What this Man of 37 years says towards the end of the Interview proves Elders are not educated enough to even diagnose a small problem, especially serious clinical mental disorders, and because of this, may very well have blood guilt at every level.

Why do we persist with this idea that truth must be found among a crowd? Do we assume that because a group agrees amongst themselves that they have the truth that surely all these different people can’t be wrong? Is it also perhaps due to our personal, and perfectly normal, longing to be a part of something bigger than ourselves? A child, under normal circumstances and regardless if they have siblings or not, has a personal and unique relationship with his or her father. Why should it be any different if we are a product of Divine will? I have come to believe that a far flung future awaits us all and the only way we can forfeit that opportunity is by deliberate, conscious and informed choice. Most of us know far too little in this life to be able to meet that bar and bow out. Just a thought.

WT says Proverbs 4:18 teaches that spiritual light is a gradual one direction progression until the truth is completely illuminated. But some of their teachings have not always gone that way. For example, Russell taught that the superior authorities of Romans 13 were the governments. Then in the 20's, Rutherford switched it to Jehovah and Jesus. In 1961, the organization returned to Russell's teaching. So we are to believe that Jesus, who chose WT in 1919, could not prevent the erroneous change of Rutherford? There are several other examples, the most damaging one being the the teaching on blood fractions which resulted in many JW's dying.
@joanferguson4194Ай бұрын
What’s completely mind boggling about those scriptures in Romans13:1-7 is that they explain themselves!! Why Rutherford chose to lie to the followers back then comes down to human mind control. One of the things that always bothered me about the religion was the fact that no one dares challenge what the leaders say! That’s what’s so wrong about Jehovah’s Witnesses as an organization. The GB deliberately lifts passages out of context and forces the rank and file to believe it or else! Then a numbskull like Jeffrey Winder actually gets away with telling the JW community “that’s how Jehovah does things.”

This is one of the biggest reasons why I stopped believing that a loving god ever existed. How could a loving god give mankind a divine book called the bible that has caused so much division, hatred, genocides? Rather than bringing people together it has done more harm than good. Why is there so many different Christian denominations that can't agree on what the scriptures mean? It seems to be more of a cruel joke.

Just because the Bible is not what it claims to be doesn't mean there isn't a loving Creator. Keep an open mind.
@wintermoonomenАй бұрын
@@simplifiedlife8607 I have kept an open mind. That is what saved me from this cruelty. For decades I followed the dogma, worshiped a god that supported slavery, demanded flesh sacrifices (animals) , gave us free will only to be deemed unfavorable if you took him up on that free will. For a 'supreme being' who supposedly put all the laws of physics into place , created the violent universe along with angelic life and mankind couldn't get the bible written correctly without flaws or contradicting itself in many ways ( like how god separated the dark from light calling the light day and the dark night on creation day 1, yet hasn't made the sun moon or stars until creation day 4 so how can you have day and night prior to the sun being made?), murders people because they by no fault of their own were born into a different belief system only to have some chosen race other than yours saying bow down or die and gave the ok his chosen race to murder, take slaves and have their way with the women just because your parents gave birth to you into a unchosen race ? Something is wrong with a god like that.

@mikekent1490Ай бұрын
Thanks for that Superman lol. For me now I am not convinced that God exists. I believe theres a cause and we and the universe are the effect. But what this God is I don't know anymore. If he/it exists then he/it has a lot to answer for. Is the Bible his/it's word? I don't know. As you say people argue that one thing is true and point to scriptures that seem to prove their point. Then someone else contradicts that and brings out even more scriptures that back up their beliefs. If this being exists and the Bible or any other holy book is his/it's communication to mankind, why write it in riddles that can be interpreted a million ways? The human tragedy is bad enough. Look at the thousands upon thousands of years of human misery on this planet. Then when people are looking for answers, those supposed answers are all riddles and contradictions. So not only is the human experince overall tragic, to find the True explanation of it all is an impossibilty. When I walked away and realised I had NEVER had the Truth I was angry. Now I am left feeling disappointed. That's my view.
