Same. Married not even a year ago. Four months of being love bombed led to a quick marriage. The verbal abuse started the day after the wedding. Then that started alternating with silent treatment. Silent treatment for 2 weeks now. Someone recently said to me- maybe she is a narcissist. I have been on a huge uphill since then. Thank God for this channel!

On the flipside, I addressed my mom's reactions, which was to rise above and continue doing the everyday things...ie do his laundry, make him dinner and bring it to him without even a thankyou. Infuriating to watch. I told him he was damn lucky he did not marry someone like me bc I would have put a container of frozen macaroni on the table and laundry left dirty on the floor. And that is exactly what it felt like, a game. A game that is not ok.

seen this before many times. what amazes me is how a narcist can mimic compassion and sound like the most loving people in the world but cannot emulate that into existence in their real World. They play the part well. Keep praying for all of them, as ive seen some change their ways through God's grace. Every saint ive read about had to overcome self-love, its in all of us because were born in sin, in a way we all have some narcism in us to a degree, so as bad as it seems it can be overcome, it all depends how evil the person is. If my narc husband "silent treated" me longer than two minutes at a time, the last couple years, it may not have gotten sick enough for me to understand ... "GIVE UP ... WALK AWAY" actually more like RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! (if they allow that, i started trying to leave in 2013, finally no contact just over 2 years ago, in 2021.)

This person is elevating into a very dangerous situation. She using the children as soldiers in her agenda to move away from the father to another state and is going to use everything as a reason. After 7 tried attempts at his restraining orders against his girlfriend. We need the next move to shut her down!
