All this things have been transformed with time and people added superstitions specially after the Catholic Church, "being cursed" is a catholic concept. Native Americans wisdom was based on science and also spirituality. Things I've head with the eclipse is that pregnant women should not be directly exposed to the eclipse for the baby's health, maybe because of the powerful energetic reasons that they mentioned in this videos. My grandfather was NA, and the church forced everyone into catholicism, so instead of him doing his healing work, he became an exorcist, he didn't believe in the church. He used to say that people was sick because of their own mind (although church made people believe it was "cursing" "devil" and all that bs).

Many cultures especially ancient cultures see an eclipse as an omen, a sign, a message, a sacred event in whatever way. Not as something to be gazed upon and celebrated like people celebrate New Years Eve Fireworks. Western culture has forgotten the knowledge, wisdom and instructions of old whereas indigenous and other ancient cultures of the world who still believe in what their ancestors believed and whose beliefs haven't been too influenced by modern times like the Native American people, the Australian Aboriginal people, the Maori of New Zealand, Native cultures of Africa, the Veddhas of Sri Lanka etc....still remember and carry this ancient knowledge, wisdom and instructions with them. I spent the eclipse with natives in Warm Springs, OR. They watched and were a great blessing to all the visitors to their nation there. Thank You Warm Springs residents!

Beautiful share! It is a special event .... The belief they have expressed here is unfounded and pointless.

I have never been outside during an eclips. I've only seen past eclips on tv. Now that I stopped watching tv altogether, I plan on reading a good book on elcips day/night instead.
