8:22 It happened to me recently. Government has allocated the vehicle fare inside Kathmandu Valley and students are getting 45% discount. The allocated fare is: 5km and less: Rs 19 between 5Km-10km: Rs 26 between 10KM-15KM: Rs 31 between 15KM-20KM : Rs 35 more than 20KM : Rs. 40 But, when I was travelling from Sundhara to Samakhusi Chowk, they charged us Rs. 20 while showing student card saying they charges Rs 30 to all the passengers travelling from either "TOKHA" or "SAMAKHUSHI CHOWK" to "SUNDHARA". The travelled distance was roughly 6 KM. I was with my friends and seeing them paying, I didn't think of making scene. Was it fair to pay Rs. 30 for the distance for ordinary people when the distance is as short as 6 KM?
