I just want to say that your channel is criminally underrated. Thank you so much for such fantastic cleat content. Your channel is one of one as far as covering great cleats goes. You cover great but lesser known brands like New Balance and Mizuno and you always detail how wide different cleats are which has been VERY helpful for me because I have had a tough time finding the right pair for me due to my wider feet. I recently got the furon 7 pro in standard width and they are amazing for my slightly wide flat feet. Waiting for tekela v4 pro low to go on sale with the release of the plus models. NB as a brand is making amazing products in running, soccer, basketball and tennis, casual ..... This channel pumps amazing content to help me choose which boots to purchase and i thank you sir.

Nike tiempos were my go to boot for 12 years .The new tiempos are too slim in the toe box so I officially made the switch to the 442’s and mizuno morelias turf imported from Japan. I don’t think I’m going back .

Yeah sadly today's tiempos are slimmer and ditch the leather material - I don't understand the decision behind that. In my country sadly no new balance football boots so I'm sticking with mizuno

Regardless of tough start they had,don’t think anyone can deny NB has come a long way since entering the football market back in 2015. They had some weird years like 2015-2019 but since mid 2019 with the furon V6 they have been on the up. Crazy when you consider it took the Furon like 5 generations to improve. The Tekela did had a great start with the laced version but when they go with just one laceless version;it was laughed for being “an ace 16/17 knockoff” but 2-3 years down the line they’ve gotten so much better 442 likewise was a joke when it first came out but right now easily the best budget option football boots right now. Won’t deny they have gone from “I don’t know they made football boots” tag to a very good alternative from the big brands. Along with Mizuno and Asics(if you’re living in regions Asia,Australia and New Zealand),they’re honestly a brand that I can honestly recommend and even recommend them over Puma at the moment

I love the Tekelas but the heel area gives me problems. If they just did a more vertical and more flexible heel, I'd be playing in them.

My feet get wet when wearing NB 442 pro in the rain. Is this nornal for all leather boots? Any recommendations on what boots to wear in wet conditions to keep my feet dry?

I've tried 442 v2 team version and the Predator accuracy 1's and the predators are much more comfortable, even for me with very wide feet.

Hoping NB addressed the heel issue on all their models in the next generation for their silos. Eventually it went away for me but the first couple sessions were brutal

New Balance 442 and Tekela have the widest toe box among the big brands. There is also a new company called Natur Athletics that specializes in wide toe box cleats. I plan on reviewing them soon.

New balance football boots can’t handle constant use. My 2 pairs of Furon 7 pro lasted 6 weeks before sole plates came off. Joggers also fall apart to easy. They have good warranty and customer service for refunds 😂.

442 is the one where I definitely needed some break in at the heel, for me it went away after about 2-3 weeks. Hope you find a pair that works out!

I rock 442s I found an in between thin and thick sock can help during the break in phase that’s what I did and I have had my for almost 6months
