I have a pair of 860v13's for running but last week got my first pair of lifestyles, the 990v6. Absolutely phenomenal shoe and I can't ever see myself buying into another brand again! I think this is going to my NB downfall 😂 safe to say, the quality of the v6 in insane and I can't actually stop looking at them.... Got yourself a sub 👌🏻

Great videos you’ve produced on the 990! I wondered, do you wear yours on rainy days? I’ve treated my 990v6s with a spray-on suede protector and try to keep them dry but hate to keep worrying about them getting wet. Thanks!

Thanks I appreciate it! This is a great question. So considering that most 990s are suede it’s very hard to wear them in the rain. So typically I have one or two daily pairs which is currently my grey V6 and I wear it in the rain all the time and it’s not too damaging. However I don’t wear my collab 990s in the rain just so I can keep them perfect. The spray on protector should be a great asset to keeping the suede soft. Hope this helped

Hi Sam, thanks for the great content. I am really hesitant to buy whether to get 990v5 vs 990v6. Do you still recommend v5 over v6? And have you ever worn women's in bigger size? I wanted to get v5 navy grey but it's only available in women's in the country I am at. Looking forward to your advice 😊 thanks!

I’m glad you enjoy the content! That’s a tough choice to choose between the V5 or the V6. Me personally, the V6 has been my most worn 990 recently and i love the V6. But if I had to pick between the two I’d go with the V5. The V5 is just a better lifestyle sneaker in my opinion. As long as you figure out the translation from women’s to mens sizing I don’t see how there would be any issues in the sizing so if you want the navy pair I’d say get it!

@@samdopkosky Thaks for your comment Sam! I keep stocking up new balance shoes lately and my wife is not happy about it😂 But I think I will be ending up getting v4,v5 and v6 :) Currently I own 991,992,990v3,996. What’s your say on v4 vs v5 if you can choose only one pair?

I always say you can never have enough 🤣 that’s a solid collection you have! There’s no point in trying to decide which 990 to get because you’ll eventually just get them all!
