It’s not so much a risk as in realizing your worth and you see your future. He knew he was building something and knew where it was going. Yeah. Aew Could have been great for him but also could not be good and he could have regretted it.

@@MarcusTheHam. I love Aew. And like wwe. The issue I have is people feel they NEED to go to one or the other. Even with TNA. Look at styles, he stayed in a place majority didn’t wanna go. Yet he knew he had to craft his skill and look at him now. Plus I feel the name draw sometimes makes people jump the gun. Yet if I was a wrestler I would look at all the people who went to one of those two companies before me and see where they are. And who made it.

The most wrestling I watched regularly since the early 90s was NWA Power before lockdown. Aldis was a big part of that. He treated being champion seriously.

From a long-term perspective, that was such a dumb decision. NWA ended up becoming horrible while AEW kept growing and progressing.
