I think the era of the bad batch might be a tad early for the inquisitors to be fully active. It could be that the upcoming failure of Hemlock might lead to the inquisitors taking over the role of his assassin clones.
@westwardstar16868 ай бұрын
That would make sense because Hemlocks Necromancer Project runs kinda parallel with the soon to be Inquisitorious. Mostly regarding impressionable force sensitive kids, M-Counts etc. Perhaps any surviving resources either living or simply assets from Tantiss will be reallocated to Nur.

I suspect that the tales of the empire will be getting more into that, with Barris Offee being trained into potentially one of the first inquisitors in this same time frame. Also what Hemlock is doing isn't so much redundant with the inquisitors, it's more that they will replace or begin to oversee the M-count bounties.
@jacobbecklehimer77818 ай бұрын
That’s what I suspected. We only just saw the whole transition to the Empire, and the inquisitor program didn’t start immediately from what I remember.

I think Hemlock is working on a project where Vader shouldn't have his nose into. Its for Palpatine survival and the last thing palaptine needs is Lord Vader dogs(inquisitors) to have a play anywhere near that.
@TheMichaellathrop8 ай бұрын
So one of the things about the rule of two is that in included both the fact that the master should not go gentle into that good night, as well as the fact that if they find a potentially stronger apprentice they should start to train them and make the two compete... to the death. Darth Bane himself knew the essence transfer force technique and tried to use it on Darth Zana when she came to succeed him, had he succeeded then Bane 2.0 would have found and taken an new apprentice with the same set of rules. The fact that he had trained her to be stronger than him and he was unable to take her body was the entire point.

The emperor would not trust the Inquisitors with something of this nature. Remeber, the kids are basically DNA donors for Palpatine, he has no interest in training these kids in the force whatsoever, and putting Inquisitors near them and potentially having one of them use the force on the kids may inspire them to connect with the dark side and then just cause unnecessary problems, Palps wants their DNA/Blood, not more Jedi hunters.

Thank you, it didn't know before this video what the difference was between the Inquisitors and the Sith. Now I understand that dynamic. One point you were off on, however, was that Palpatine didn't care about the rule of two. Palpatine was very angry when he found out Darth Maul was still alive and told him he was no longer a Sith. He ordered Dooku to kill Ventris when he found out about her and he had Anakin kill kill Dooku so Anakin could become his apprentice. Years later, wanted Luke to kill Vader so Luke could become his apprentice.

It's so new that they aren't really trained at all in the ways of the dark side, so they're basically like really bad sith and a really bad Jedi the worst of both worlds but also I feel like the major second reason is because if Palpatine brings the inquisitors in then Vader will find out and that's a huge threat. If Vader knows about palpatine's desire to clone himself, that means if he tries to overthrow him, he might just drive a Star destroyer to the planet and base Delta zero it

The inquisitorious, Like the dark side acolytes are officially not sith and officially not part of the rule of two but the emperor was never about following the rules to the letter. You wanted to have a deep bench pull from in the event of losing any apprentices. Technically, you would not want them to know about the project seeking immortality because that takes their ambition for advancement out of play. The emperor's quest for immortality is the ultimate middle finger at the rule of two. As of the time of the bad match, the inquisitor programs ranks are too thin to have readily available powerful individuals for the side project You're trying to hide from them anyway. The only standing forces the Inquisitorious probably has at this time Are the recently turned and therefore not really trusted dark jedi.

Sure he still had plenty left in his upper body, but not as much as if he had been left unharmed by Obi-Wan.
