The umbilical cord is wrapped around the baby awkwardly causing mom to carry the baby by the tail. Starting 28:23-31:30 if you look closely, you can see the cord is wrapped around the baby's arm and thigh. Mom has to figure that out so she can place baby on her chest.

This baby was just born not too long prev. it can take longer for young new mothers milk to start but she will have colostrum and another mother can assist like her mother or aunt until it does. Currently sleeping alot as babies do. She is very loving and will feed it or has already but is not captured by VO. Baby is cute cute cute. 😍😻 1

Reminds me of Betsy, she was always so independent and did not stay at the milk bar. Bossy was always having to hold her back because she wanted to explore. She rarely was at the milk bar and just stayed there long enough to get a bit of nourishment. She weaned very quickly, actually, she weaned herself. I have never seen a monkey do that before. Unfortunately, she was killed by a speeding car.

maybe the milk hasn't come in yet ?? or some mothers restrict the nursing to certain times of each day, then the baby doesn't come running 1000 times every day wanting to be on mom constantly and tends to be moreintell.igent for it, more willing to be learning and exploring instead of just attached to their mom, they seem to be far more adventurous and curious to play with other babies when they're not allowed to lay around for security nursing so much, those babies get on a routine and then they nap better for those moms too. I've seen many of the older, more experienced mothers will do that. They've probably seen that their babies aremoreindependent and then mature faster.

Да,вы правы,это не Тара,и не Тиа,у этой обезьянки-мамы шкура не сдёртая,и она моложе Тары,и Тиа спокойно не лежала бы как эта малышка или малыш лежит спокойно,Тиа постоянно лезла к соску,а это дитё почему то не лезет к молоку,спокойно лежит,не драчунья ,как Тиа постоянно боролась за молоко,потому что не наедалась,и эта мама держит своё дитё как человеческое дитя,но почему не видела чтобы она его кормила,что за причина, непонятно?

The 2nd mom seems dumb or a young 1st time mom. She holds her baby upside down by its tail, she doesn't nurse it and it clings to itself. That has been going on for so long that the baby is thinking it's normal. If she doesn't put her baby upright in front of the milk bar then it might literally starve to death.

You nailed it! She IS dumb. The second monkey’s name is Belly. I remember her because she is extremely dumb and lost her first two infants because she has the attention span of a gnat. She would just walk off and leave them like she forgot she had an infant to take care of. I mean even for a monkey she’s dumb, a total airhead space cadet. My theory is due to being a hybrid and you can see how small her head is, she’s like a pinhead.

In my years of watching these videos, this was one always shocks me because I have never witnessed a more clueless mother, baby duo in than these two are. This mother must have been a captive raised monkey, because she has absolutely NO mothering skills at all. Wild raised are around their mothers, aunts, sisters and other adult females watching how it's done, and often trying as young adults to carry younger siblings, but this mother uses Gods handle to carry this poor baby. Of course this baby is different too, because most babies will scream and flail when the mother puts them down, or holds them wrong and they instinctively know where to go to nurse, but this one self soothes and doesn't seem to know where to go. Even when the mother first tries to hold it right, it doesn't try to latch on mom. Instead, it closes it's eyes again and continues to nap while sucking on its fingers. This is a great example why the monkey trade needs to be shut down because I doubt many babies continue to be raised by their people after they reach adulthood.

Cassi needs to go to jail, she has to pay back food money, for abuse and starvation(lol) Realistically, Calvin was a healthy/strong baby monkey with normal baby reactions, otherwise he would have been dead in a few days. A human baby would have been dead in the crib in 3 days.

This little cutie is a mess. He is wet and fur rumpled as though mom put some gel through his fur. The other two babies are well groomed. He may be teething or he has something stuck in his pouch that he meant to save for later. He is a loveable one.
