Having played her in Zhongli's trial, she absolutely needs that level of shield to be viable. Else, she is way too clunky, slow, and runs out of stamina too easily.

The thing is that Mihoyo tends to waste constellations on design problems. Lisa could have a much better const. if her elemental skill was a little faster, this way she wouldn't need a shield to protect her while she's charging to attack.

Another thing: her high stamina waste is probably because she is pictured as lazy. Still, when we put it side to side with gameplay issues it brings, this characterization just isn't worth it.

@@heitorramos2671 Not really wasting constellations. They were designed to make people want to pull more for quality of life rather than strictly DPS (as the latter leads to power creep). I've heard it described as they're looking to sell you a fix to a problem that they intentionally created.

I disagree. I contributed some of the footage for the video (I played the Lisa EC comp in Spiral Abyss and Maguu Kenki and Signora) and I would like to say that as long as you have Xingqiu she will be fine. His rain swords have some properties of a shield but it isn’t exactly a shield. Additionally you can compensate largely for stamina issues with mainly using your ults to Iframe. In my experience playing her for this video I have not run into any stamina issues with her. This is partly due to me using her with Xingqiu meaning that if I use CAs instead of AAs it would be a dps loss. Also building stacks 2NAs followed by 1E resulted in better damage for me and no stamina consumption.

Wish they would include the starter characters like Lisa in free four star rewards, like what they do with lantern right or something, because their constellations are so much harder to get than regular four stars. Would make it more fun to play characters like Lisa if most of us had more than C0 and could make her more viable.

Just by having the 3 free characters as featured 4stars on the standard banner would already be so good since you can get a lot of free pulls from the bp, sakura tree, leveling characters, etc. If i had c6 lisa i would definitely build her just to try some nuke builds with that massive dmg multiplier she has

I am a Kaeya main(a f2p at that too)and I am Ar54 didn't even get him at C1 :( I got three limited 5 * characters,C1 Keqing and two 5 * weapons and yet I only got C1 Lisa,come on Mihoyo

Thing about catalysts is that they are really good range option for mobile players. It’s harder to aim on mobile, so bow users are less consistent, esp with elemental damage.

I have no bow character built Cuase im on mobile And I have like 6 Catalyst characters either built or in process of lvl 80 at least I may not find them so fun if I was playing on pc, but I adore them

I don't get what is so hard to aim on mobile? Since day one i looove bow characters. And no i don't find aiming is that torturing difficult. Yes it does take time to get used to it. But hey, it is not the end of the world. Just as we get used to the timing to skill and to dodge, with time, aiming will be a breeze. The only problem is, there r so many other characters that r good but doesn't need to aim,so most players gave up on aiming i supposed.

*Fun Fact* : You can complete the Electro stone puzzles in Inezuma using Lisa’s burst. - I used Lisa as I 100% explored each section of Inzeuma and about 75%+ of the time, her burst auto solved the puzzles in one single activation.

Lisa is definitely my favorite starter character. She's really pretty and purple is just a great colour on her. I used her as a sub dps for a while, but ended up replacing her with Rosaria.

Im ar 50, still grinding to get my characters to 80. Most of my arts is purple. And she is lvl 8. I stopped using her when I got Keqing at AR 5-10. Even if Ive tried Lisa many times, I still cant understand what her Ult and tactical is supposed to do.

Honestly you can use Lisa and Rosaria together with great results. Rose's crits hit hard and combo them with a hydro applicator and an Anemo healer. Mmm. Delicious dmg. High invest to make great but most of those characters are great to lvl. And using her is almost a must on a team with any form of physical dps.

As someone who likes to battle from a distance I quite enjoy a yanfei-Lisa combo for main dps. Just swapping back and forth causing elemental reactions over and over. I find it’s especially good for ruin guard type enemy’s!

They could easily just add a free constellation reward for clearing the spiral abyss. If mihoyo wants to be nice they could make it cost a certain amount of stars so that people who are starting out could still get them without having to dump money on primos just to get the 5 stars to clear it easily. This would give the players a goal to try to get as many stars as possible in the abyss since some people actually want to play the free units.

@@Yuuria_ with regards to how beautiful the game is, mechanics, updates and events every now and then plus you can actually acquire characters as long as you manage to plan your pulls, even without paying a single buck, mihoyo is quite decent or even above decent compared to other gacha games out there.

@@perfectprinting3021 Most of these things are quite irrelevant. All Gacha and Live Service games run events and have constant updates because that’s what keeps the game alive and going. As for the world what does that have to do with them being nice? Nothing, it’s one of the selling aspects of the game and that’s it. Generosity is an other thing entirely; they have been extremely stingy for over a year now, their community events have us doing them promotion so they can get more people to join the game, artists are rewarded for hours of their time (and free promotion for the game through their creations) with a laughable amount of Primos, their anniversary was an absolute joke, they seldom give players gifts, the game lacks critical features even after all this time and they hardly ever listen to feedback (Electro still sucks, Abyss keeps getting harder and harder with no incentives to play it and pretty much only whales can comfortably tackle it since it also often has rules that favor the latest released unit, some characters are atrocious to play, etc.). Also, you can get characters if you plan your pulls in pretty much all Gacha games, even those that don’t have a 100% pity they usually have Spark system so you can plan accordingly. I get loving Genshin and whatnot, I’ve been playing since Day 1, but some things are just undeniable. I enjoy the game and play it daily, building characters can be fun (if you exclude artifact RNG) but I’m not blind to all of the shortcomings. How the game is viewed by the outside, by the non-playing people, is a good indication of how the game really is and all the outside people I know that don’t play it only know about Genshin because of the Anniversary blunder, the Elon Musk stunt and the bad Aloy collaboration. One last thing is the fact that even when they listen they try to maximize their own interest; we asked for artifact rerolls and we literally got a system so bad that literally nobody uses it, weapon banner too hard? Well, you can save 240 pulls for that weapon you want now. Being nice doesn’t mean supporting the game since it’s what they’d do anyway given the fact that Genshin earns them Billions; being nice entails active listening to player feedback and concerns and good communication.. they do very little of all that. I joined the Arknights community after Genshin’s and they’re always hyped about something other than characters (which is all Genshin banks on), they have great Collaborations, they release music all the time, an anime is in the works, they have sick merch and they’ve just had a great anniversary event with tons of freebies and content. If only Genshin could be like that, instead all the craze that happens is always about the next character and only that; when I log into the game I’m done it 10 minutes, events included, due to how easy it is and then I’m back to waiting 2 more days until the next part releases. Went to a bit of a rant but yeah.. they can do much much better and I wish they did, the game has so much potential but since they know they can milk their players without going all out they settle for that and it’s a shame

I also appreciate the bit about loving the game but don’t be too blinded and not seeing said issues. It seems often people forget about these issues and have come to terms with it. @@eumeliaria7081 Thanks! I usually get labeled as a hater but I'm glad it didn't happen this time. I just truly believe that the game can be so much more, even the working shell we have right now is enough to have a good deal of fun but it's obvious to see that they aren't trying nearly as much as they can and it's mostry because the community is just down for whatever happens. The bar has been set so low that anything is fine for many people. This is the first time I've seen an overly loyal fanbase being a hindrance to a game's progression. On another note, today I rolled the Vortex Vanquisher so I'm extra sad LOL, it's beyond me how they reworked Zhongli due to popular demand but forgot to change his weapon accordingly so now the weapon isn't even good on him, the signature character; if only they fixed it but I don't really see them doing it. To conclude though, thank you for the kind comment, I really appreciate it! ^^

Couple days ago found one thing that made me fall in love with her. Lisa's elemental skill and burst abilities don't have any height restrictions. For example you can go to Qingxu Pool (ruins in bottom left of Liyue), climb to the highest point, use her burst and it would be zapping all enemies on the ground level. Same for enemies higher than Lisa. There is 3 abyss mages in Lingju Pass (a bit higher than previous point) standing on a platform. You can get under that platform and with combination of burst and skill destroy them all (tho they will send a lot of bubbles and icicles in your way). My point is, this is one of the best mechanic in game, and might be most fun I ever have playing Genshin Impact and trying something new. But I found about it just by coincidence after playing game for 16 months. Only cuz it's underrated character. Also, this ability is so good against new mobs. Ghosts, rifthounds, and Wolflord, no matter how high they go Lisa will reach them.

Hi as a Lisa main i agree on everything, but you forget to mention that when The enemy is affected by pyro or cryo if Lisa use her normal e , she will instantly put 2 stacks on The enemy that she hit and 1 to the nearby enemies and she transmit The reaction to them too. Before saying this i wanted to be sure about it : apparently when enemies are trapped in venti and traveler bursts she does The same thing (2 stacks generally but sometimes happened to me to see 3 stacks) but if The burst is affected by pyro or cryo she put directly 3 stacks. I don’t know if works with sucrose and kazuha too. Another thing she does is that if The enemy is affected with hydro her charged E will trigger 4 hits of electrocharge.

agree but for me it's still considered long setup since you still have to trigger the long hold charge atk (and let's hope the enemies stay in her circle area and your Lisa isn't get too hurt during that process), plus her normal E stack isn't that consistent too because sometimes they just trigger 2 two stack instead of 3 , and sometimes even the near enemies not affected even if you use her as support she isn't that good considering she require 80 energy for her burst off field damage

@@enma9359 Thats why I use Amber and Xiangling for Lisa's support Amber provides distraction and enemies stay in field and attack bunny instead of Lisa and Xiangling for off field pyro to trigger overloads

I've used her for a good year now and actually like her a lot. She feels different than other characters, a bit slower and floatier, but once I got the hang of her and the mid-range playstyle of catalyst users she was a blast! Having her and Kaeya makes oceanid a breeze, hands down the best antidote to the flying birds. Also as someone who actually has her at C6 as a by-product of my Kaeya-simpery I love swapping her in, hold E and destroy everything ⚡⚡⚡🌹 I highly recommend teaming her with Noelle for the shield and Jean, because she is her wife and they deserve to go on adventures together.

In my personal experience, I ditched her as fast as I could ‘cause of her overall feel. Her attacks feel slow and “floaty”, not as snappy and responsive as other catalysts - even Ninguang, who also is kinda slow, feels way better. It’s not even actual timing, it’s mostly animations.

As a Ningguang main, I wouldn't say Ningguang is slow. Perhaps you aren't holding forward for animation canceling? The only time she or most other characters feel slow (aside from Lisa) is when the game is set to 30 fps, but then everything feels like it is chugging. Ningguang has like an 8s downtime of auto-attack after her skill, burst, skill attack chain, which may also make her feel slow (during that down time, spool up support and switch to sub-dps for a few hits or just Venti Vortex to make best use of Ningguang's small AOE on her auto-attack).

@@pyro226 animation canceling makes her perform better, yes, but she still FEELS slow. It’s not about actual dps, it’s about the way character feels. MHY probably wanted to make her look graceful and regal, and she does, it looks really nice, but it’s not really working when actually playing her.

What I don’t like about Lisa is the fact that the stacks in her kit are both applied and used by her elemental skill. It would make more sense if her skill applied the stacks, and her burst consumed the stacks, causing massive damage from her burst.

You can overload and superconduct and best unit is Xiangling cause she can provide off field pyro and you can use Amber as support cause she can provide distraction so enemies can be in AOE while not attacking Lisa and having both of them provides pyro resonance :D Hope this helps! One thing I would see as a huge improvement is if her hold E doesn't require you to channel fully to use. That means we could do hold E on smaller AOE hence quicker casting time. Shorter CD from shorter channels would also be nice.

Yeah, something like that would be quite nice, in situations where you are fighting really close targets you could deliver insane damage numbers with almost no charge time That combined with her c6 would make her a really nice nuke style sub dps

I really wonder if the backlash for putting the starter trio on some event banners would actually be that huge at this point. Most players love Amber, Kaeya and Lisa, at least as characters, and it would do a lot for them. Alternatively, free Stella Fortunas would indeed be a great solution. Or maybe their odds could be boosted in the standard banner.

It's also really inconsistent that those three are not put on banners since every player has them, but other free characters exist (Barbara, Xiangling, to an extent Noelle) that do get put on banners.

They should give the stars as rewards for completing their hangout storylines. That way while their free theres still an element of working for them. I understand not doing that for paid for characters but for free characters there should be a way to gain them same as traveler. It not only introduces the hangout mechanic but gives you an initial reason to actually do it. Iignored the hangouts for so long until i did them purely for the primos

Awesome video!! A note from a Yanfei main though: I think the biggest problem with catalyst users is the fact they don't *feel* powerful. I adore Yanfei because she *feels* like she's doing a lot of damage with her charged attacks, with the big sound effects and the hammer of judgement. I've noticed that many, if not all, other catalyst users don't *feel* powerful, even if the numbers on the screen are gigantic, i.e Ningguang, I've seen plenty of videos showcasing her amazing damage at high talent levels, but I have Ningguang and I hardly touch her. The fun factor is a major part of gameplay, and when I pulled first pulled Yanfei, I couldn't swap off of her because of how awesome she felt to use. I also remember using Klee in her story quest, and I remember being really disappointed, cause I'd heard that Yanfei is just a budget Klee, and after using Klee, I definitely feel like Klee is just expensive (worse) Yanfei.

yanfei's also just really clean to use, her charges are very smooth in comparison to other dps like ningguang or klee. and her constellations make her more comfortable to use but they don't feel necessary.

@@riottalisman4786 klee's visual effects look cooler for me though and the wayshe topples large enemies like lawlachurls too. I think people not liking catalysts has to do with the fact that Klee, despite being a dps cannot vape properly with xingqiu because of her over Pyro application and ningguangs burst jades and charged shots go into the ground/sky and don't hit the enemy properly. Yanfei, I don't think she has any problems or inconveniences except being stamina hungry at c0 but she's not broken by any means, shes fine. It also has to do with the scaling. None of the catalyst dps as of now have broken multipliers whereas every other weapon type has atleast one or more. I've seen so many people going for yae miko because she's said to be strong.

Yanfei is really cool but i feel like she's just too expensive for being a four star I have issues regarding her hp and she needs so much energy recharge and takes a lot of stamina for her charged attack rather than that she's pretty amazing i absolutely love her playstyle and she used to carry my team

Her tap E has a small aoe that can be used to apply the stacks for clumped up enemies, however, triggering overload/superconduct can add 2-3 stacks instantly! So her bread and butter combo is this: -apply pyro/cryo to a single enemy - use an anemo unit to group them up -use a single Lisa Tap E - watch as ALL groupped up enemies gain 3 stacks - Use lisa hold E for massive damage :) this doesnt work with electro charged because it doesnt have an "explosion" when triggering it. so yeah C6 lisa is cool but its not necessary at all to make her smoother as u can instantly get 3 stacks with a single tap E.

Lisa is the most complex character you've ever encounter because there are so many of her kits that doesnt get explained in-game and u have to experiment it yourself to understand how good she is 1. Conductive Stacks. Instead of tap E for 3 times, u can just give Pyro/Cryo aura to enemies first then swap to Lisa to tap E once, the Conductive Stacks will automatically added by 3 and it'll be spread out to nearby enemies. If you understand this, her c6 is not mandatory anymore (but hey, C6 is for flexing :3) 2. Her hold E has really wide range. You can just hold her E and accidently hit enemies way above or way low of your Lisa. She'll even hit any hiding enemies that you missed with your eyes (even the invinsible one, only if they are in Lisa's range when she hold her E) 3. Yae Miko isn't *5 stars Lisa, she is 5* stars Fischl. Yae and Lisa have different kit. The only thing they share on similarities are they are catalyst user and female. Yae is more dealing constant damage per second while Lisa dealing high burst damage on their E. Yae's Q is burst yes, but required high energy cost unlike Lisa's burst ability on her hold E. Lisa's burst is one of the best debuffer out there since it shred enemies' def by 15%. 4. Her best Constellations are C1 and C4. C1 for energy recharge purposes and C4 for her burst to spread out to 3 more enemies. Makes it really good for mobs. In the end, her downfall is that she is one of the starter char, and everytime new char get release, she will fall behind even more. Only the true simp will stay by her side, like me

Of many of the unpopular characters, I believe the problem not to be their kit, but the metagame itself, basically everyone tries to pair them with the usual units, Bennet, Kazuha, etc., Maybe the problem is that we need to play differently with different compositions than the ones we are accustomed to see an play. Example: Ningguang (favoniuous) + Yelan (Favoniuous) + Lissa (Thrilling tales) + Noelle (unga bunga). Great videos !

It is interesting, that from what we see of Yae Miko, she feels like reversive Lisa. Her elemental skill is smaller copy of Lisa's burst, which can be applied much easier due to 3 stacks, and her elemental burst is unconditional burst of damage. We still don't know about her constellations, but to my mind Lisa will be forever powercrept by Yae after she will be released.

I agree with the first part. Yae uses em for DMG bonus. The skills are reverse, Yae has really short range and Lisa's is a bit long, the cd also fit. But I genuinely think they are very different from each other, but I love them both and will use them together.

Yae’s kit is much more similar to Fischl, her skill drops turrets that do periodic, high electro damage, and her burst does high AoE electro damage that resummons 1 totem. Currently Lisa’s main competitor is actually Sara as a buffer in Raiden teams. Lisa with Thrilling Tales of Dragon Slayer’s is actually better than C0-5 Sara according to theorycrafting calculations, and is still competitive with C6 Sara. For a Raiden Hypercarry comp Lisa is actually one of the better choices, though TTDS definitely carries her.

I just wanna say that Lisa and Mona's synergy is *chef's kiss*. Mona's E attracts enemies and keeps them closer to eachother + applies hydro. Mona's burst prevents enemies from moving and adds additional dmg. Add Kaeya and Bennett in here and u got a bomb team. It was mine for a long time, and still haven't found one that synergizes as well.

I feel like she was meant to be played with 4 piece thundering fury. Her E CD is ridiculously high, and thundering fury can help with that. It can decrease her E CD by 8 seconds, or to understand easily, her E would be ready within 8 seconds. So it does offer even more consistent damage and also more aggravate damage from Lisa So atleast there's a solution to her CD. But everything else is Ofc still a little hard to get used to Although yes, you can't trigger thunder fury off field (I think). But while trying to get her E again, you could use some on field time doing normal x2 into charge attack. It does do a lot of aggravate damage while her E is on CD

Thank you for actually informing Lisa's weakness layer by layer. It gives me ideas on how to play her better. Recently I'm feeling bored playing Ei, Fischl, and Razor, and also have built Kaeya, Amber and Xiangling, so I tried building Lisa to lv 69 for second talent. I must say her challenging playstyle is so much fun to use in coop, where I can make use of my teammates as bait. In the meantime, I can spam Q and E consistently from far away, so it's all good. 😂 Ofc the biggest challenge being Lisa is that not every player welcome a lv 69 Lisa, so sometimes they'd just kick me out the party or laugh at her.

Before the video start: - Lisa would be one of the starter char that i actually want to build and still waiting for a reason to build her. - Having a def shred in her kit already as a passive, not constellation, which make her seem really valuable to me (it like a budget c2 for Raiden and budget c6 for Yae) - But Lisa have quite a few problems ngl, i think the main problem with Lisa is her E cause it took too much time to charge up and really clunky to use. Her Q aoe is also bit small (atleast it bigger than Amber) but keep knocking back enemy away which is kinda a problems in certain scenario - Lisa constellation does solve some of her problem but getting them is a whole problem on it own - The only thing i can think of to help her would just rework her E, make it easier to use, to build stack and quicker to use as well or make her press E able to generate particle. If her E got improve, she would be a great pick for not just mono electro team but many quick swap team as well that just how good i think her def shred is After the video: - Great video as always - you definitely touch on all of her problems - She is definitely one of those char that just 1 small fix away to be really good - Our only hope for char like this would be smh in the future mhy release something like a rank up quest from fgo or awakening quest that raise level from 90 to 100 that will give char alternate skill or passive that would replace old one. @@jakeail1995 id say lisa is a tradeoff to raiden C2. Yeah its a smaller shred than her ignore, however it does apply to the entire teams damage, reactions included. Raidens only applies to her personal talent % damage. Also while Lisa shred is welcome on a C2 Raiden cause of course its nice extra, its actually less effective on her than other units. The reason defense shred is so good is cause it hits a part of the damage formula almost no one touches. Making it an almost straight gain with no diminishing returns. Raiden not only hits that part of the formula, she hits it in a way that its actually hit by diminishing returns even worse than if raiden had just shredded 60% instead of ignoring 60%. The math to show this is lets just use 1000 defense as an example for easy math. Lisa would shred that to 850 defense. Thats nice. Raiden would ignore the 1000 down to the point its basically 400 defense correct? Okay so if they both just shredded itd effectively be 250 defense theyre left with because 75% shred. However raiden ignores instead of shredding. So lisa shreds it down to 850 and then raiden ignores 60% of that because defense ignore applies after and reads whats currently on the enemy's "stat card" which would be the already shredded defense. The 850. And taking a % out of a smaller number naturally nets you a smaller amount removed. Raiden is effectively ignoring 510 of the 850 because thats 60% of 850. Meaning theyre at 310 defense to raiden's attacks instead of the 250. She already had them at basically 400. So its not nearly as much of a gain to raiden as it is to other characters cause raiden already ignoring defense. Making lisa effectively shred only 90 extra instead of the 150 she does for other units not including that its on a defense stat youre already ignoring most of. So shes doing less shred combined with that part of the formula already being at diminishing returns. Now, extra is still extra so its not like thats bad. But the shred just scales worse with a C2 raiden than it does with other units. Kinda like how bennett scales poorly with hu tao, noelle and itto. Raiden C2 puts def so far into diminishing returns on top of it stacking inverse multiplicatively that lisa's shred just doesnt do as much. For that same reason tho thrilling tales does alot for raiden especially at c2 while shred is still shred. Making lisa a great raiden support either way. Lisa is less a good C2 raiden support from shred being good and more because shes one of the only units that provides something else on top of thrilling tales, making her just automatically better than other tales users. And even moreso for a C0 raiden because then its a raw shred not affected by the diminishing returns and not shaving off of defense already being ignored.

I use Lisa while pairing her with Noelle for shielding. Still building her but I get so happy when I see her crit damaging enemies with her 3-stack skill. I do like her personality and maybe her "floaty" fight style and long hold skill matches her "lazy" attitude. Everyone that knows her says she could be captain, but she doesn't want to. She's a "wasted potential". Her crit rate is her mood swings. When she's in the mood to punish naughty boys, and her crit kicks in, boom. When she just wants to stay home and drink tea, say bye to crit rate. Or maybe it's the other way around... the faster she ends the battle, the faster she gets to go back home. Either way, I'm willing to wait for Lisa's constellation because, as a wise one-san once told me: "No pain, no gain."

I did start playing Lisa on my alt, and got few things out of expirience... She isn't very intuitive, it took my friend who is a Lisa simp to explain me that you stop holding her E after she laughs, not wait until it hits by itself... Can't really play her without a shield, it is very annoying and if the enemy is strong actually deadly... Her stacks seem to go away too fast... Overall I do still want to level her on my main, but she is in the bottom of the list of characters who I am leveling...

Funny enough, a TCer I know have discovered Lisa's viability in Raiden. She can substitute for Sara and is even better than pre-Sara C6 from the calcs. She provides ttds and def shred and her burst energy problem are solved by Raiden.

You raise a good point at the end about Catalyst users not being well liked in general. I myself don't like to use them unless they're a support that can hold Thrilling tales or Prototype Amber, but as a dps, they just feel so slow and clunky and I know animation canceliing is a thing, but for a casual its not ideal to learn when far more pratical units exists. They also tend to be very squishy most of the time, unless they're Barbara or Kokomi who are healing tanks. And I have noticed that Whales tend to use their c6 Klee as support to hold Thrilling Tales and Def shred constellation. Be a very interesting to watch your take on the subject manner.

The amount of pain (and primos) I’ve gone through to buy all the starter characters when they come into the shop is immense. I had to scrounge up 34 starglitter every single month between september and november because I’m trying to build amber, kaeya, and lisa. Either that or they could have it work similarly to his Gravity Field. Have every third or fourth discharge that hits the target apply a stack of Conduction and when a discharge hits a target with full three stacks it triggers the stun. That would allow for her Burst to cut down on the wait time to really profit from her Violet Arc damage, while also making her C6 feel all the more powerful to reach by letting Rose immediately proc the stun to flow directly into Arc's channel. Obviously this would give her an incredibly strong damage output at C6, but with the general difficulty it takes to reach that I'd argue it's fair.

When I first started my alt account I really wanted to start using characters I never gave a chance to on my main. So when I pulled razor of course I had to use him with Lisa. I pulled a 5 star catalyst early in the game and she was the only catalyst user I had so I used her for a while and she was…okay. She did the most damage for a while bc of her weapon. I leveled her to 70 because I like her as a character and got her talents up to like 4 I think but overall she was so clunky to use, which is a pity, her personality is so fun!

Dendro changed things completely. Once neglected, my Lisa now is level 80, Talents 7/7/8, and full elemental mastery. She is fun to play. I put ER on her so her Lighting Rose burst 3 to 4 times per domain cycle. I believe Lisa is much better now, after the addition of dendro.

I would reduce the charge time to 1.5s , reduce her CD to at most 12s , have her CA apply Lighting Rose stacks by default and make her C2 part of her base kit

When I played her during Zhonglis trial I was so annoyed by just how long you have to hold her E skill to get the full effect. She's definitely not for someone who prefers a quick swap playstyle and it's sad because I know she can be pretty strong

Once again I find myself agreeing 100% with all of the points you've made here. I feel the same way about Genshin characters as I do Pokemon - each character should at least have a niche that's worth using. In Pokemon's case, they can do this by simply adding a move or ability, but in Genshin's case they have to adjust a product that people have already purchased or not purchased, which makes it tricky. I think this is why I'd love to see them slightly adjust the base 3 characters to begin with and see how the fanbase responds, whether it's giving Stella Fortuna like you said, or simply tweaking the skills or passive talents.

I love using Lisa in my team with Eula. I first shield my team with Diona, swap to Lisa for the burst, and swap to Eula to destroy everything. But I acknowledge that Lisa works there because Eula is doing all the heavy lifting lol

love this video series as always, and i thought i’d chime in as a lisa main on my second account. characters with problems like them being slow, easy to interrupt, all that sorta stuff can be kinda annoying to use. klee makes me feel like i’m fighting my keyboard to get her to do the things i want! but there’s a lot of value in these characters in the way they really can teach you to be quite skilled. since klee is so squishy and i have no shield on my second acc, i learned how to i frame every enemy attack. amber taught me how to play it safe and from a distance, keqing taught me how to best optimise my stamina, and lisa basically taught me all that at once. even though genshin is a very easy game, i think it’s rewarding to get really good just for the sense of personal accomplishment. i do think that using starter characters and such can make you a better player in the end, and so they have value in not only their personalities and fun factor. again, really enjoy this series and i can’t wait to watch more

One of my most favorite lisa builds is Lisa(main), beidou, Ei and mona or whoever hydro character youd like With Yae coming out, I havent summoned her but coop with Lisa, ei, yae, and kokomi was superrrrr fun

C2 Lisa, a shielder, or frozen enemies are basically a necessity to safely use her skill at max. I usually just do the following (with Eye of Perception) : 1. Apply STRONG Cryo, swap to Lisa 2. Tap E, immediately charge attack (this double procs superconduct and launches a bolt of perception) 3. Hold E and get butt loads of energy. Normal attack if bolt did not launch in step 2 4. Burst if you have it This has been the most fun way I've played Lisa :D

We'll have the 5* version of Lisa's main niche as a electro burster with Yae next patch, so Lisa will get even more niche since now there will be even less of a reason to use her. Getting a 5* unit is easier then getting Lisa constellations, and Yae will no doubt be stronger then a C6 Lisa. The only thing that Lisa does that Yae doesn't, is the def shred, but that's far from enough in the end. Regardless, it's not like it matters I guess. You don't really need to be optimal to even do Spiral Abyss after all. However, I do hope we get a re-work of Lisa as a new unit kind of like how Honkai introduces new versions of its characters. Out of any character in the game right now, I think Lisa deserves the first rebuild.

She is very good at taking out multiple enemies, you don’t have to charge her E all the way for effect. You can use it until you see lightning and it inflicts a lot of damage. Although she is slow, she hits enemies like a tank

Its good to note that Lisa is not like aloy and xinyan where they are completely out of the meta and/or outclassed since she has 2 effective/meta teams, namely TF benny, and raiden hyper. The fact that she can use ttds and have a def shred is enough to warrant to use her in those teams. In aoe she will out perform fischl and in raiden hyper she is better than sara(unless c6).
