I think what the archon represents doesn't represent the element. I mean just because the archon of dendro is god of wisdoms, doesn't mean it an element of wisdom. And wisdom and knowledge is different. What Lisa pursue was knowledge rather than wisdom.

She's not "sure to die" in the game, and it is already literally implied in Mona's divination of her that Lisa had already managed to halt that "flowing sand" since she already has the lazy characteristics. That means if that curse DID exist, she has already dealt with it for the moment.

I was just watching this video again and then this idea hit me: what if visions are not what gives the alogenes their powers, but celestia sends this visions in order to ensure those powerfull beings will "send their energy" TO Celestia, keeping them slightly in check. And I know people that lost their visions in the Baikufu lost also memories and powers, but maybe it's just that they now BELIEVE the vision IS their power. Kinda like in Venti and the Birds story, or Neo and Morpheus type of enigma, what you believe is your ultimate reality... Also Archons don't have visions... and they have their powers, even without their Gnosis, they def know something we don't...

I've become rather attached to her both from story quests and just general gameplay and talking about characters with others. She's close to being the 1st character I maxed out and was actually the 1st constellation I got. I also relate to her very strongly when it comes to work. So please MiHoYo, don't make her die. 3:53 : I just realized... In y'all opinions: why are visions named "visions"? After all, visions don't give their bearers any clairvoyance nor psychic abilities, but real, physical affecting elemental powers. Elements doesn't have anything to do with "vision", in the pragmatic but also symbolic, occult meaning of the word. I'm french, and in the game, visions are called "yeux divins" (= divine eyes/eyes of gods). Yet, visions still not bring their bearers some kind of "god alike lucidity", BUT elemental powers. Think about it. Now, why do you think they are called "visions"? You got it: gods can give you elemental powers in these objects as a "gift", but in return, they can watch you (plus your actions, your choices, what you do with these powers) through the object. The term of "vision" is a reference to the actual purpose of the object, not what it gives to you. To me, visions are like archon's gnosis but for humans: their fonction is basically masked surveillance. I think I should be more careful about words and names in this game by the future, everything in that lore is there on purpose.

I don't think the "cutting her life in half" means that some kind of magic cursed her, what if, the curse is knowledge itself. She touched the book at a young age which cut her time left to live in half. What if that half being cut off was literally just the time growing up and endlessly searching for knowledge and now that she has become grown up does she realize that it's gonna kill her if she continues persuing secret knowledge, so she stopped. Which means that half of her lifetime was basically wasted.

I think we may able to purify her later in the story but "full power" probably about after the characters reach lvl 100+ and that's where the true awakening started. As you may know, Lisa gameplay wise is really... Weak, so I'm not surprised if this is the method mihoyo will use to improve her since Honkai also has this mechanic. Player can upgrade the characters into a new variant with new clothes and abilities. She might become a god though...

This gives me two theories in my mind - what if Lisa is an ancient being, living a lifetime of wisdom and seeing many trials, who is succumbing to erosion, so she is simply lessening the load on herself, as she is slowly losing vigor? The second theory is that Lisa is such a wise and clear seeing person, that she has come extremely close to ascending to Celestia, just as Vanesa had, but she had made a choice to not proceed on with it, since the responsibility and restrain from such an honor is simply not to her liking or she's plain afraid from it? And since she is actively resisting the immense pull of Celestia or simply has obtained so much power her human vessel is not able to handle it, that it is putting an immense strain on her constitution, being unable to smoothly channel the actual power she possesses. Or in other words, any more progress and she HAS to go to Celestia. ... Even though her whole calling in life is in alignment with the Dendro principle of wisdom, her personality is actually aligned with Electro... and being but a simple human scholar is her version of Eternity.

Also a thing I noticed: When you read Noelle's story, it mentions how the symbol of a 'rose' means secrecy in Mondstadt. "...The maids of the Knights have many "red lines" that are not to be crossed, and one of these is that "the personal information of the Knights must be kept in strict confidence." This does not only require restricting outsider access to such information - this restriction also applies to other members of the Knights. For example, what Jean keeps in her private quarters, the contents of Amber's Baron Bunny, the number of special eye patches that Kaeya owns, the number of Klee's hidden bomb caches... These things are all top secret. To avoid leaking such information, Noelle used red cloth to make a great many roses - in Mondstadt, this flower means "my lips are sealed." She specially wove one such rose into her gauntlet as an ever-present reminder to herself. Revealing secrets would be a major dereliction of duty for a maid, and those who aspire to be knights cannot afford such errors. So you can forget about probing Noelle for any secrets. She won't tell..." -"Warning of Roses" - Noelle So, the symbol of a rose is defined as things that are to be kept secret. You can see some roses on Noelle's character design, mainly one on her forearm, two roses on either side of her head. We know that Lisa knows a GREAT DEAL of knowledge from Sumeru, SO it would only make sense if part of the wisdom she gained were to be kept hidden and secret. Also, there is a number of 'roses' on Lisa's clothes; a gold one on her waist, one on her hat, and one near her shoulder. This doesn't only apply on 'knowledge' being kept 'secret'. Rosaria also has a rose. On her splash art (the art that gets displayed if you pull or get a character), there are some roses littered across it. The reason I think best fits this scenario is that she 'does the dirty work no light can touch', meaning she mostly takes care of things such as killing, torture, and many more. It is heavily implied on her character story that she 'knows the weakness of the human body like the back of her own hand'. "...Like a puff of smoke, the lackadaisical Rosaria is impossible to pin down. Nevertheless, once she takes on a job, she can be relied on to handle it with the utmost professionalism. "Lazy" is the last word that anyone would use to describe her ruthless interrogations of suspicious individuals. She also possesses exceptional strength and knows the weaknesses of the human body like the back of her hand - and has no reservations about using this knowledge to kill. People know her as the lazy, chain-smoking sister, but behind the scenes, she is a formidable purveyor of justice. A strange fate for one who ostensibly basks in the light of the gods. Sumeru is about in the middle and usually big events happen in the middle of a story, so if Lisa is going to be involved in the Sumeru archon quest then there's a chance that it will either be revealed to everyone that she has a very limited lifespan and it might go down even more after the quest or she dies. The Traveler finding out a huge bombshell truth is fairly guaranteed but Lisa's fate could go either way. Mihoyo definitely doesn't leave death to just the background NPC characters, and although it will be very sad to see her die it will be interesting to see how things change in the overall story and in Mondstat.

Monstandt seems to me to be the region with the most secrets of them all because of the way their people needed to adapt to the aristocracy to them be freed by Vanessa but that raises the question is the reason people on the region of the wind hide ? Too much freedom? While there’s honest characters like Jean , Mona , Barbara or diluc who generally don’t hide truths unless is something very personal like dilucs relationships with his family, while others like Lisa , rosaria, kaeya , noelle , albedo , sucruse, venti , or even npcs like Marjorie seem to keep fasades or lies to their comrades I wonder if there’s a reason that it seems almost everyone here is ether too honest like bennett, amber or razor or too deceiving like Lisa or kaeya , which makes me think what if there’s other meanings to normal objects on mondstandt because we know because of noelle the rose symbols secrets , what if books or people associated with books are seen like secret holders in their own right I mean it would make sense because sucruse as an alchemist must know a lot that we still can’t decifer from her , Barbara , Lisa , sucruse, Mona , Klee are associated with books by default but I was actually thinking on fishchl, she’s the embodiment of a book character and I wonder if her vision gave her some sort of mental delusion if so then maybe Celestia gave it to her to protect them from Amy but why would a child like amy be a threat to Celestia ? the simplest explanation is almost always the correct one, so the saying goes. In this case of Lisa, they tell you that the academics of Sumeru are so obsessed with their research that they almost died for it, this is a reference that in China and Japan there are people who die from overwork, then Lisa says that she realized of something when he was doing his research at that same level and said no more, this is also something that happens to several people who reach a point in life that they have been living for work and decide to leave everything behind and dedicate themselves to live your life to what you like no matter what they say about them, of course Lisa is still the best Sumeru of her generation and has a lot of knowledge of everything and now there is someone who disturbs her achieved peace. I don't think there is already a curse or something like that there in mondstads but I do think that many researchers in Sumeru could die as long as they finish their research for Archon Dendro that if there is a reference in honkai of a character who does exactly what same.
