yeah, the complexity is not in the champion itself, but in the way you have to use his strengths and in knowing exactly what to do against your matchup or team comp. I am a Singed main, I've played it in basically every role except ADC and I can say without a shado of a doubt that he can be played in every role (and maybe carry too) except ADC if you know what you are doing without any problem. Of course, it's way weaker in jungle, but it's a good counter to nunu if built right or to champs like viego/yi, in the midlane he can get cc'd easily but if you play it right you can win the majority of the matchups (with few exceptions like lux), same goes with support, matchups are more favorable and you are a perfect CD magnet (+perma-diving with certain champs like kindred). It really comes down to your game knowledge and way less on your mechanical skills.

As a singed main, yes, it really is. He punishes bad engage and poor positioning with extreme prejudice, while teaching you good positioning and learning to fight with unconventional tactics. I think this video gets a hair wrong about him, and a lot of mains will say there are many different ways to play him and fight/trade tactics many don't realize

@@luj6455 Shaco is a superspecial case due to the invisibility of the boxes and the cloning, to what u literally can't react/where luck is a factor (same for Teemo with the Shrooms btw. - and I say that even though I really like playing Teemo and the champ overall. He's an annoying tilter.)...@Singed: Lots of ppl play overpowered champs, like the ones I named already. Then getting killed by an inferior champ does tilt the weak-minded. And they deserve it, immature lot -> I've been watching Minishcap1 for months now, and you see exactly that all the time. They expect to dominate (with little skill required), and they usually get it. THEN they are withdrawn of it by that lame loser hero nobody plays. That's the reason why they tilt.

Playing against or with a Singed always makes for an interesting game. His KDA means nothing in terms of judging whether he's playing well or not. It can be genuinely hard to tell if a Singed is trolling or if they're an actual fucking mastermind wasting minutes of the enemy's time. Yeah, they got a kill and 300 gold out of it, for what cost? Singed chops my IQ in half simply from being in the same game, and I love him, even though I'm an ADC player.

I love to play singed with smite and I have over 950k master points on him and still ppl in both teams think I'm trolling, when they see smite on toplane. Feeding is always bad even on singed, bit the tilt I can cause if I survive with 1hp and the enemy dies in poison due to a second of greed can win a game. Sometimes that 1hp is missing 😅.

@@ZekeGenter Last hit canon or speed up pushing. Secure dragon/baron with a second smite. Little heal while running away in jgl. Proxy behind tower and steal a jgl camp between waves (smite allows to clear jgl a little faster and heal up a little, so u catch next wave in time.) It's a great way to catch up when behind my clearing a jgl camp on the way. At start I sometimes steal the enemy buff top with my jgl. I tank and heal with smite. Then we try first blood top with both of us full life and jgl lvl2. For runes spellbook can be good as u can switch smite and still use other spells, but get smite back right away, butvit works with other runes aswell.

Most of Singed's skill cap is actually macro play, rather than champion play. The champ himself has very low skill cap, but knowing how and when to use him in a game is where the skill ceiling flies up

@@Aexils Singed has literally two combos: W -> E E -> AA while the target is flying (surprisingly useful if you're conq Singed or you're running DMP) Aand that's it. The difficulty on this guy is exclusively positioning and macro and he's hella difficult at it. Thinking that "high skill cap" means "how fast can I button mash" Riven or Irelia-style it's just wrong, that ain't skill or intelligence, it's muscle memory at best. Honestly speaking the only tweaks I could see for him are his passive and his R: cutting some of that unjustifiably high uptime for the R (or cutting the current R as a whole) in exchange for an active effect (dashing or spreading poison in a different pattern, like releasing a poison cloud ring centered on him)could really make him much more proactive, also far as I know no champion has "special gimmicks" revolving around potion consumables, wouldn't it be a really interesting idea to have him interact in a peculiar way with some of the potions available?

@@tehrik0020 it used to be ingrained when Dark Seal had the potion bonus. You would always get Dark Seal and the refilling potion. You would proxy farm a few waves then die to tower to get a corruption potion. One of the few champions i know that can call corrupting potion a power spike.

Longtime Singed Main here. My favorite thing about Singed stems from his low mechanical complexity: playing Singed makes you better at league. The amount of macro knowledge needed to play Singed effectively (enemy champion positions when proxying, common ward placements, best flanking paths, how to deal with unbeatable matchups, TP timings, strange summoner spell combinations) forces you to expand and hone your knowledge about everything in league of legends, and that's what makes him fun, to me at least. Well, that and sprinting at the enemy at 1k MS, flinging their carry into a mega adhesive to root them, and getting that sweet sweet "summoner disconnected" message afterwards. That makes it all worth it.

@@imanafdarslow in pushing? that is the one and only singed strength from level 1. he is the one and only champion which main ability can 1) have a permanent uptime with no cast time and 2) be applied to any and every target you tag. when designing such champ you NEED to make him extremely weak, just like sona is: Sona can empower up to 4 allies and herself at a given time, therefore if that theoretical situation is where she shines the most, she should be considerably weak in a 1v1 or 2v2 in comparison to champions who specialize in those. same deal with singed but with self-to-enemy interactions instead of sona's self-to-ally therefore this champion is by design weak in 1v1s, weak in early game, without mentioning the awful itemization problem. he is a champion that will force you, his pilot to see the game in a different way, interact with many game systems that you would usually not interact with, just to barely pilot it. and the payoff is also flipping middle finger to every league player who will be forced to play singed's game, instead of the usual league of legends you are used to. this concept is in no way unique to singed, every champion warps things around them to create their own ruleset of what they can and cannot do, singed does it in the most topsy turvy way possible. he gets to flip you, break an unbreakable freeze to any other champion, transition into a proxy into backing because those two things costed you literally your whole health bar. so yes i get why you hate him, and i love him for the same reasons you probably didnt read half of that, here is a cookie if you did 🍪

I'm actually happy that Singed has a very low pick rate. I like having a niche. I always tried to find a place in League, swapping from one role to another, mostly playing tanks or mages top or support, always getting destroyed by solo carry champions. Then I developed item builds like "yellow build Alistar" (Ancient Coin, Righteous Glory, Ryleis, all that stuff) before Riot "reworked" their support items, or "victory Sion" rushing ZzRoth, Steraks and Phantom Dancer, before they removed the best item ever from the game. *theatralic outcry* Now I'm stuck in a meta so bursty, that I just don't feel like dealing with those thirsty solo carries anymore. That's when Singed arrived. I love how ALMOST NO mythic item is good on him as a first item and I love even more, that he really is a walking middle finger, especially to champions that crushed me in the past. It is all about mental stability and movement with him. No ridiculous animation-canceling, no dumb pseudo-fencing or stack-grinding towards a guaranteed win. You just move and push one objective after the other, being to annoying to let live, but too slippery to kill, reworking my old Alistar-build for the current season. You need to re-learn how you move in order to survive ridiculous encounters, having thirsty tryhards breathing down your neck. When three men gank me and I die, it is worth it to me, because I take a turret and farm and even if I don't, they left two enemy players exposed to my teams remaining four. I stopped giving a fuck about proving myself in League through KDA and other meaningless bullshit. That was the beginning of my love for Singed. Now champions aren't a target anymore. Stickers, emotes and flame don't reach me anymore. I just want those yummi minions and turrets, no matter the cost. Currently I play him top and as a support against melee champs and fiddle for everything else. I'm an unrelenting split-pusher and meta-troll and I love it. Fuck the haters. Fuck the bruisers and fuck Viego especially.

I think the most fun I've ever had in league, was when bible singed was around, having a fat 25% cut on summoner spells let you spam ghost every minute or so, and not to forget when minions didnt have as much hp and do as much dmg, one cpot charge for 3 waves, now you end on the verge of death trying to lvl 1 proxy.

Every champ on the top lane has tools to pretty easily shut you down quickly, via stuns, slows or just general burst damage. You killing someone means that, despite the enemy having considerably more tools to deal with you that you have to deal with them, you killed them. You "outskilled" them because you used your limited tools to the fullest, like knowledge of the enemy champion, your movement speed, you positioning, etc. Also in some parts of the video you suggest that "Singed KDA does not matter" but trust me, if your able to get kills early as singed (yes, there are a lot of ways of doing that) you transform Singed into a HUGE anchor for your team that can easily help the ally ADC and midlaner.

Similar to me. I started playing League as Shaco for the mental anguish of others. But I wanted to be more "useful" So I moved on to top and just gravitated towards Singed. Predator/Chemtank/Cosmic Drive/Deadmans/Boots and then whatever last item you want for defense or whatever. Go Ghost Teleport. And just gank the shit out of all the lanes. FLY INTO THE ENEMY TEAM LATE GAME, that shit is fucking hilarious!!!!

I love that Singed his KDA says nothing about his performance during the game. I believe he is actually good because you shouldn't focus him during a team fight since the enemy team can do whatever they want that way, but at the same time you HAVE to focus him because he will otherwise wreck havoc in the middle of your team

Ok i know this is very late but i love singed from his design to his lore to his mechanic. One thing i learned from maining him is that hes not a combat type champion. If youre planning to main him make sure youre ready to lose 70% of the matchups and be on the defensive in early game. Youll be at your strongest point when ppl think their ahead and underestimate your potential when they gank you even at low health. Your job is not to deal damage or provide team support but mind your own business and distract enemies while exhausting their resources in attempt to shut you down. Youre right, hes mechanically not what a champion is built to be, and arguably the most unique one even at today's standards. HES A CHAMPION THAT KILLS BY FLEEING AND RUNNING NOT BY FIGHTING. I have mad respect for mechanically skilled players who main yasuo, camille etc. but i know deep inside that maining my man singed gives you a special power to play with someone else's ego while wrecking havoc and panic.

If you play Singed and become a one trick, prepare yourself to learn multiple playstyles and have more than rune choices for one champion. Singed has a diverse options for runes and this prevents hard counters. You gotta one trick him to have the most experience though because what he said about Singed's playstyle being radically different is on point. He has around three playstyles.

As a "Singed Main" I feel like he is a strong pick against almost any laners and can win almost any match up. It's definitely niche and you need to play him a lot to understand them. But I split my playtime between singed and gnar, two characters that are incredibly unique and have found great success in both top lane. @@d4s0n282 Not if the jungler comes, they can also perma farm the wave and you'll go even in farm. So that's pretty good, but again, it's high risk if you stay too long. Plus Garen's Q, tenacity and a possible stride breaker, it's just rough to fight him. With Mundo he'll never die if he's lvl 6 nad his cleavers do a shit ton of dmg. Plus he can zone you off from proxying too. I'm also hella bias but each game is unique and a lot of the time ppl don't know the singed match-up so u can take liberties :P I have to remind myself that often too ^_^

As a Singed main if they changed his kit I would have a very hard time playing him in the same way. Singed pisses people off so hard core and thats why i love him. I also have to disagree that you've basically said Singed takes 0 Skill and you may as well play a different champion because you could do the same thing. I have seen so many people play signed that have 0 idea and constantly feed because they think hes just a farm horse. I often go toe to toe with Irelias/Urgots/Camiles and come out winning the trade as singed, in my opinion when you are winning trades regularly vs those champions its taking skill especially without the help of a turret. but you are correct when you say you need to punish their mistakes, but thats true of any champion/player this is a league fundamental. Lets put some respect back on this Champ :D

2 months ago the guy across from me said he'd never seen a singed before. I had a 3/0 lead before 10 minutes. He constantly asks me what kind of character is this, so ridiculous, why does it poison etc. He kept saying things. this was just a very normal day for me on the turkey server. At the end of the match, I went 12/3 and he kept telling me that I was just playing a ridiculous character. He was playing mordekaiser by the way.

give the singed poison a grievous wounds effect and he got to be every useful in current meta, completely countering all the many live steal and healing effects currently in the game. I also think singed ultimate could be made more interesting. I think a "heimerdinger" approach could be fun and also increase singed skill ceiling. Make singed ult turn his other abilities into a more powerful form and you have to choose which is best to use: - Singed poison -> current singed ult effect - Super glue -> now turn into choking gas: Bigger area, stay for longer, silences everyone in it and reduce their vision (like nocturne ult), but much weaker slow effect and no fling combo - fling -> Put a sticky gas tank on the target while flinging them, which will inflict singed poison dmg to the target and everyone near them for the next XX seconds. This way singed improves on his "I'm the most annoying champ in the game" theme, while getting more useful in the meta. [edit] crazy follow up idea: How about singed getting an ability which can slow down the whole game for a short time. Literally grounding players, giving negative ability haste and a movement slow effect? And to balance it, it would affect every player in range (team mates as well as enemy champions). I'm sure everybody would hate this! :'D

I'm a singed main and I engage all the time getting kills quite often. I hardly ever use tower. I prefer to force an engage by charging straight in with poison trail then flip them into my poison ghost then w their escape route run in front of them to continue the damage (ignite helps lol). You can even draw them in if they think they can kill you or they panic and miss all their abilities and die to you. It's so fun you just have to throw out fear and hesitation. Go in or nothing

Singed is a truly unique champion with the next closest in style of play being Lillia. I feel Singed requires a selfless play style. As for your observation on MaoKai yes they nerfed his saplings. Thanks... now you can't really play MaoKai anywhere since they nerfed the saplings into oblivion & didn't buff any other part of his kit to compensate. Is it wrong to miss the old tank meta?

11:10 "Singed doesn't belong in the current state of League of Legends." I disagree. Singed represents a creative design philosophy that is all but dead in the game. New champions are all starting to become rehashed versions of existing concepts and at times each other (e.g. Viego is just 4 - 5 existing champions mushed into one). Having them on a set release schedule limits the amount of playtesting and is probably one reason they can't push the envelope on completely new ideas. Riot encourages unique, boundary pushing gameplay but design their champs in a way where they pre-determine how they're played. There was a point in time where one of the most active Singed players ran him in the Support role with Smite and he got banned for "trolling" despite actually playing to win. When Riot said they wanted creative ideas from the community and got this as a response they immediately said "lol no not like that." So many creative ideas come from this champion's existence. This game *needs* Singed and the community of enthusiasts, OTPs, and mains that pick him.

If Rito added his old passive back scaled as an always on passive on Q or R, he could get some more build flexibility without bodying people early. If Rito added a little shieldless Riven Dash only available when R was in use, maybe the whole enemy team wouldn't out speed him even when he goes ghost flash. Riot changed his passive to try and capitalize on how people we using him to engage, but the problem with that was, his old passive was what made him tanky enough run through fights. By changing his passive they hamstrings him, and singed mains have been struggling to find builds and keystones that make him viable in the meta. Tank singed almost never viable anymore, so you have to go full damage... Which as you pointed out means he can't be tanky. Thankfully in season 11 items have made it so you can at least get good health and ap, and his poison was buffed to help him be more of a threat.

My solution to all of the downsides that come with playing Singed in top lane? Take that bad boy into the jungle. I've had multiple enemy junglers complain that my clear speed is unfair, gank potential is high early game with predator and W, and a Liandry's rush just wins the game most of the time. I don't believe this would work nearly well in high elo, if at all, but it just completely dominates low elo if you know how to jungle in the first place.

The Hog Rider is a rare card unlocked from Spell Valley. His fast move speed can boost forward mini tanks like an Ice Golem in a push. At the same time, he can also function as a tank for lower hitpoint troops such as Goblins as he still has a fair amount of health. Most cheap swarms complement the Hog Rider well, as they are nearly as fast as him and usually force more than one card out of the opponent's hand. The Hog Rider struggles with swarms, as they can damage him down and defeat him quickly while obstructing his path. Barbarians in particular can fully counter him without very strict timing on the defender's part, though be wary of spells. A Hunter can kill the Hog Rider in 2 hits if placed right on top of it. However, if you place something in front of the Hog Rider, Hunter's splash will damage the Hog Rider and hit the card in front of it more. Good placement and timing with Guards and The Log will fully counter the Hog Rider, canceling all Hog hits. The Hog Rider in conjunction with the Freeze can surprise the opponent and allow the Hog Rider to deal much more damage than anticipated, especially if the opponent's go-to counter is a swarm, or swarms are their only effective counter to him. Skeletons and Bats will immediately be defeated by the spell, while Spear Goblins, Goblins, and Minions will be at low enough health to be defeated by a follow-up Zap or Giant Snowball. However, this strategy isn't very effective against buildings as the Hog Rider will take a while to destroy the building, giving the opponent ample time to articulate another counter. Non-swarm troops can deal a lot of damage during the freeze time, but this can allow the opponent to set up a massive counter push. For this reason, players should either only go for a Hog Rider + Freeze when they have other units backing it up from a counterattack, or if the match is about to end and they need to deal as much damage as possible. It is not a good idea to send in a Hog Rider simply to destroy a building, especially if it is the only building targeting unit available, as defeating Crown Towers becomes substantially more difficult. Spells or simply waiting out the lifetime of the building are more effective. The exception to this is an Elixir Collector placed in front of the King's Tower. If a Hog Rider is placed at the bridge, he can destroy the Collector for a positive Elixir trade, though the damage from both Princess Towers will usually mean he does not survive to deal any damage to them. However, if the opponent sends in defending troops, it can be an opportunity to gain spell damage value. In a deck with several low-cost cards, it might be worth it to simply send the Hog Rider against one building. These decks shuffle their card rotation quick enough, that they will arrive at their next Hog Rider before the next building arrives in the opponent's card rotation. Long-ranged troops like Musketeer and Flying Machine can snipe those buildings, preserving some of the Hog Rider's health, possibly allowing it to get some Tower damage. When there are buildings placed in the middle to counter the Hog Rider, understanding the placement of the Hog Rider and the type of building placed can help the Hog Rider to bypass certain buildings. Passive buildings such as spawners and Elixir Collector have a larger hitbox than defensive buildings; which means that if a passive building was placed 3 tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, then the Hog Rider can't bypass that placement as the Hog Rider will get pulled to that building. Defensive buildings have a smaller hitbox than a passive building, which means that if a defensive building was placed three tiles away from the river in the middle of the opponent's side, a Hog Rider was placed at the very left or right side of the Arena may be able to bypass it due to its smaller hitbox. If the player has a building already placed down in the center of the arena, and the opponent tries to bypass it with a Hog Rider at the edge of the arena, they can use certain air troops to push the Hog Rider towards the building as it jumps over the river, effectively denying the bypass attempt. They must be already hovering over the correct placement, as very quick reflexes are required to correctly perform this technique. For Bats, Skeleton Dragons, and Minion Horde, they should be placed right in front of the Hog Rider as soon as it is deployed. For Minions, Skeleton Barrel, Mega Minion, Flying Machine, Electro Dragon, Baby Dragon, Inferno Dragon, Balloon, and Lava Hound, stagger the above placement one tile to the right if the Hog Rider is placed on the left side of the arena, and vice versa. They can also use ground troops to achieve the same result. Something like an Ice Golem deployed at the Hog Rider’s landing spot will obstruct his path and force him to go around the unit, which causes him to be closer to the building instead of the Crown Tower. The Hog Rider can kite Very Fast non-building targeting troops due to his own Very Fast speed and building only targeting if he is placed on the fourth tile from the bridge, slightly into the opposite lane. He can also stall grounded units when placed right at the bridge. He will pull them towards him while deploying, and then be untargetable by them when he jumps over the bridge. After landing, he will pull them back. This can be useful when the player needs to deal damage in the same lane they are defending. It will also help separate troops behind a tank in a large push. A Tornado placed on the second tile in front of the player's King's Tower and staggered two tiles towards the Princess Tower will activate it without any damage dealt with the Princess Tower, helping them in defending future pushes. This can also be a method of mitigating all damage dealt with a Princess Tower, but doing this more than three times may result in the King's Tower's health being low enough to be targeted directly, opening up the possible threat of a back door three crown. A better alternative is to pull the Hog away from the Princess Tower into the attacking range of all three Crown Towers, which will negate all damage as long as none of them are already distracted A very powerful combo is the Hog Rider, the Musketeer, and the Valkyrie typically referred to as the Trifecta. The Musketeer will defend against most troops, while the Valkyrie can protect her and the Hog Rider from swarms or high damage units. The Hog Rider is used to deal damage to the tower. This can be effectively countered by Lightning, one-shotting the Musketeer and severely damaging both the Valkyrie and Hog Rider. The Minion Horde is also effective, but the enemy can Zap them and the Musketeer will one-shot them all. Even if the Musketeer is defeated, the Hog Rider and Valkyrie will have enough time to severely damage the Tower. The Hog Rider should be placed behind the Valkyrie to give it a boost so that it stays in front of the Hog Rider, protecting it. A Hog Rider combined with a Goblin Barrel can be awkward for the opponent to defend against. Timing it so that the Hog Rider is tanking the tower shots for the Goblins is the most effective way to deal damage. However, a Barbarian Barrel can shut this down with minimal Tower damage for a positive Elixir trade, as long as the Goblin Barrel was placed directly on the Tower. Pairing the Hog Rider with the Balloon can deal devastating damage. If executed properly, the Hog Rider will act as a tank while the Balloon threatens to deal massive damage. The Hog Rider can also destroy any buildings attempting to slow down the combo. However, this combo is very vulnerable to swarms and anti-air cards as neither of the troops targets anything but buildings. Additionally, they are easy to separate, due to the disparity in move speeds. Alternatively, the Hog Rider and the Balloon can be played in different lanes to spread the opponent's defenses thin. However, a building or Tornado can bring them back together for easier defense. The Hog Rider can be paired with the Lumberjack as both a swarm bait and damage combo. It is a very fast combo with an extremely high damage output potential, so the enemy will likely try to counter it with a swarm. If this happens, use spell-like Arrows to render the opponent defenseless. If they manage to defeat the Lumberjack, the dropped Rage will make the Hog Rider even more dangerous than it normally is. A fast and deadly combination is the Hog Rider and Mini P.E.K.K.A. combo. Both units are fast but the Mini P.E.K.K.A. does much more damage and does not attack only buildings so the Mini P.E.K.K.A. can deal with troops like the Executioner and Musketeer. However, this combo can be defeated with swarms like Skeleton Army, which will defeat both of them since neither of them can deal area damage. They are also unable to target air troops, so the Minion Horde can stop this easily. A risky play is to deploy the Hog Rider at the bridge as soon as the match starts. If the opponent does not react fast enough, the Hog Rider will deal a significant amount of damage to the Princess Tower. This can also allow the player to quickly scout the opponent's deck if they happen to react to him fast enough.

Singed Jg. His W and throw work really well with celerity and predator, and Jg items mostly fix any mana issue you may have. gathering storm and mobility make him a constantly increasing threat that WILL need to be dealt with to win team-fights. I usually build leechingleer - rylai's - riftmaker or a more useful item for mobility depending on if current mobility is enough and I need healing or the enemy team is too fast at running away.

Singed has the major advantage that as long as he has a poison trail, all of his kit can change without too much of a change to his mechanics. The hard part is respecting the fundamental Singed playstyle while making it a healthier playstyle. Like, I wouldn't mind a more traditional laning phase, but Singed absolutely must retain his niche of being this super-slippery champion that excels at distracting the enemy team. As in, he can't 1v5, can't even really 1v1, but you need to deal with him or he'll either run around harassing you during the team fights or go grab an inhibitor by himself.

lol the first Singed in the background is me. Anyways great video, I especially agree with the fact that Singed is too niche, as I play Kled, Urgot, and Singed as my 3 champions. Playing Singed while playing the other 2 makes it very hard to consistently do well on him. Singed is also way too weak in laning phase to really beat anybody, except for tanks. I do slightly disagree about the fact that he isn't fun though. Maybe his laning phase isn't fun whatsoever, but teamfighting on him for me is just so much fun cause I just run around and cause so much chaos. I can see why many players would stray away from him though, cause his laning phase isn't very fun since you just suffer and wait for your items, especially against ranged top laners. Currently Diamond 1, and I can hardly play him as a counterpick, much less a first pick.

THIS IS VERY EFFECTIVE!!: I play Singed but never played him as a tank, I play him as the new sub role 'Distraction' which is available to selected champs only like Jhin, Quinn etc. Basically you get predator, enhanced boots for runes (the others can be anything) and build chemtank, deadmans, ghostblade etc. if you are reading this you prolly have the idea of the whole build, and the logic here is basically fling the enemy before they can react, then go to the enemy back line keep on running around as distraction till the enemy you fling is killed, then fling another one. you will understand fun in league if you do this. HAVE FUN

You missed an important aspect- if singed tanks damage, he can push better than any other top laner- this gives him the unique ability to roam- to go take camps, or go proxy. Singed can usually get low, push to tower, back, and be back without losing farm.

Hello, singed main here. yeah it's so hard to play the champ right now that his main build is literally rylas and a support item. Liandrys doesn't give Health anymore and conqueror is only 9% healing and has 12 stacks now, old conqueror of 10 stacks and 12% was actually the only reason singed had a high winrate last patch. Almost every champ has mobility or cc. And some of the new champs are even faster than singed with his ultimate. The champ isn't even that tanky and is easily one shot, u have to wait 25mins and farm 140+ creeps for u to start popping off which isn't that easy when most champs are stronger than you and are able to zone u off cs. Proxying isn't an option any more because of his fast champs snowball of mills and most jglers will simply camp u if see u doing so. Mythics only made the champ weaker, with old liandys and rylas, I was able to get an average of 30-50k dmg a game and would carry a losing game if it reached 25mins. Now I'm 4 ap items in and just nearly reaching 13k. But I still rather play him than be a meta slave.

Fleet Footwork and Phase Rush are pretty fun on him, though. I mostly go Rylas or Demonic first, then into Force of Nature and DMP, prioritizing one over the other based on the enemy team, but always building both. Nightharvester and Cosmic Drive are pretty fun, jsut like Moonstone and Staff of the Flowing River (don't know the english name) as a support. Don't fight, just split, farm, or protect your carry and dissrupt the enemy lane, so he/she can clean up after you and pick off idiot champs like Rengar, Heca, or Khazix since you completely counter their engage and burst with ur glue. Distract the enemy team, so your team can clean up, while you get gold from assists and minions. It's actually pretty fun, especially with Moonstone.

Heyo, singed enthusiasts here. I’d say there are 3 different types of ways to play singed. Tank, damage and somewhat towards the middle of both with healing. Also you do have to go out of your way to learn him, like what you are going to do if the other top laner can perfectly stay out of your range. I enjoy laning more than proxying, but its better than going against a mord or fiora. Ill dodge every game against gnar. You can first time gnar and beat a good singed. I don’t know if they will ever change singed very much. If there was a rework I bet they would give him a shield or something.

I’d say his skill ceiling is deceptively high. I’ve played against a few Singed mains that just get in there a hard stomp and carry. It’s wild when they do and I don’t understand how they stomp so hard early. Clearly they’re more skilled than most

A lot of these problems are fixed when you put him in the jungle, especially if you have a friend who plays yuumi
