My husband, my mother-in-law and myself become Noahide 2 years ago this March. We have had so much to learn and a huge amount of Deprograming to do. We are very on our own where we are and are so thankful for the internet and the access to Rabbis and teachers that have helped us learn Torah, the seven laws and other teachings. We do not know any other Noahides in person... or even online really. We were not sure for a long time if we should convert, and went back and forth with the idea, trying to understand what would be best for us. Recently we have committed ourselves to being dedicated noahides. That decision to not convert to Judaism brought clarity to our purpose. We are now able focus on our roll more fully. We now fully understand that the roll of the Noahide is extremely important and needed in this day as much and the Jewish roll. You are, I think, the only Noahide woman I have ever seen outside of my family, and it brings me a lot of comfort and peace. Thank you for putting yourself out there. I enjoy your videos.

I was a Christian for over forty years. But I yearn to know the truth of the scriptures, so I went to a Messianic Synagogue where I learned Biblical Hebrew. After a month in my fifth semester I stumbled upon Rabbi Tovia Singer. This has been nearly two years did that happen. I believe that I had some very deep and real Christian experiences in the past; however, I also know I can’t choose them over Biblical truth. For about a year now I have been attending a Chabad house. It is a little over an hours drive one way, but they accept me as one of their own. The life of an Noahide is far from easy. I have empathize with each and every one out there. What we really need is a body of networking. A place like a building that we can meet. To strengthen and encourage others like ourselves so that none of us will be discouraged and follow Ha Shem with all our heart. Can anyone give me any ideas how to go about this. For we have the potential with the help of G-d to be the strong arm to the Jew. Last of all, I wanted to say thanks for sharing this video. So many of us Noahides just needed to hear it.

Thank you Chris for your comments & thoughts. Noahides are scattered around the world & few live in one area that would warrant a "building". Most of us meet in Zoom meetings, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc. A few of us are fortunate enough to meet in person at Noahide events or conference venues i various parts of the world.

@@MyNoahideFamily Please let me ask you something else. Jews don’t go around sharing their faith, but Christians do. You mentioned that Noahides are far and between. Is it wrong for a Noahide to proclaim the truth, as a Christian hits the streets witnessing. There maybe many other people out there who are no longer going to church and not following G-d either.

Amen, me too. Her decision not to sell the farm and uproot her family is a perfect instance of _"You shall observe My statutes and My ordinances, which a man shall do _*_and live by them,_*_ "_ and not die by them (Vayikra 18:5). A frum Jew who thinks of Noachides disparagingly should be very careful not to be prideful until his dying day. Remember the angels who asked God at the Red Sea, "What is the difference between the Egyptians and the Jews? These worship idols and these worship idols." God set us apart for several reasons, and being boastful is not one of them.

Thanks for this video. Of course it’s great to see Noachides out there! It sounds like you really thought this through. Personally, I’ve been living as a Noachide now for 8 years, nearly 9 years, and I feel like there is something missing for me. While I dislike the idea of being part of a community, I need something more than just 7 laws. I have a non religious partner now, though. Because no MO rabbi will convert me, I’ve decided to go conservative, since they will convert me, and I am hoping that through me, my partner will come to see what I see in Judaism and then we can make that jump into real Judaism. But I intend on still committing myself to Torah and fulfilling as many mitzvot as I can.

They will convert you but they'll tell you over and over again not to convert. Unlike most religions Jews don't try to convert people and actually try to talk someone out of it over and over again. You have to be so persistent and prove by your knowledge and behavior that you are ready for such a huge commitment. Orthodox Judaism is very structured and very difficult to follow. Non stop studying and learning a whole new language. There's a lot to it. My Father's side of the family are Russian Jews but since my Mother's not Jewish the Orthodox do not consider me Jewish so I've been looking into the Noahides. I'm thinking about converting but there's so much to it and it's a whole new world. Not sure if it'd be right for myself and my family.

Thank you for your comment. There is a video I published some time ago called, " How I Became a Noahide", This explains my journey, if you would like to watch it. I agree that Chabad groups are very welcoming to Noahides as are other groups. However their is always some people who define our place in the world as not as spiritually blessed as that of the Jews. Unfortunately it only takes one or two people to make those comments that seem to seep into the minds of others.

Thank you for describing that. I am in a very similar situation. Converting is nearly impossible for various reasons here for the place and situation I am in. The matter that bothers me most for now is that Rabbi Yaron Reuven recently said there is no concept of Teshuva for Noahides as it is for Jews, kind of if you as a Noahide did errors, you get payed back anyway, as there are less rules for Noahides than for Jews, while Jews can do Teshuva and get softened or cancelled their degrees.
@MyNoahideFamily
@MyNoahideFamily 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment. Teshuva is applicable for all mankind, Jews & gentiles. Teshuva means regret for past, asking for forgiveness & "returning" to HaShem - the Divine Will of God. On another note: I would not be placing too much credibility on the teachings of those who are not well versed in the application of the 7 Noahide Laws - one needs a very learned Rabbi who specialises in Noahide Laws. Go to my website for a list of credible Rabbis for Noahides. Here is the linkmynoahidefamily.com/ Scroll through to the list of Rabbis that I personally recommend for Noahides.

@@MyNoahideFamily Oh, thank you, most of the Rabbis on your list I heard of and listened their shiurim, Rabbi Rovia Singer is very sweet with Noahides, indeed. Please don't think that...while there are some rules with regards to repentance that apply to strictly jews, like the fast of Yom Kippur (the day of atonement) any true rabbi who has studied for 30+ years would tell you that every human on earth can repent and God will see their heart and their changes and sacrafices that they make in their lives in order to fix their ways, and forgive and bless them. Its not for no reason that God put the story of Yonah (Jonah) and the repentance of Ninveh as part of the Tanach. Job also was a non-jew if I'm not mistaken. Please don't think that, God accepts all true repenters. In hebrew the word for repentance, Teshuva, just means "to return" from the root word Lashuv, bc repenting is nothing other than Returning to God, letting go of all bad habits and distractions that caused distance from God and choosing to cling to God etc.

If i wasn't brought like this, if im not of that heritage, why to bother?? I can aquire from a lot of jewish wisdom (just what i need n not only jewish, w/out converting... for example i wanna study comparatively the Eddas n other cultures sacred texts, mb i'll consider the Veddas too, just to see how different people see the divine n enrich my vision n understanding w em - this won't be possible cs as a jew my only concern in the spiritual realm should be living as a righteous jew (esp as a converts, there s much more effort i believe) Ofc u mb will say n ive this impression 2 that im not allowed to pronounce idols names (dk where i read/heard that from..) but those are just common names in their respective cultures... I know you already addressed it, but this is why some become conservatives or reform. Orthodox is just too difficult (and too legalistic or strict for me) anyway. No way I could do that. Noahide is also another great option though. Most Rabbi’s will tell or insist Not To Convert, but just be Noahide. Each has its pros and cons. Some even become Muslim instead. I see nothing wrong with any of these options. You are just as much Jewish in all sects of a Judaism and equally accepted as Noahide. Peace, love and blessings to all. As long as we keep the 7 commandments (or 10) and keep Hashem first and in relationship to him, we will be ok. Don’t stress and worry too much about it.

If you remains a Noahide, you'll be a legitimate Noahide and everything is beautiful. But if you undergo a non- Orthodox conversion, you won't be accepted as a legitimate Jew. Even if you don't care about that, circumstances will arise when you may care about this. Furthermore, your children will resent it, when they think they're Jewish, and as they research their identity they find out that they're actually not. Again, even if you disagree, they will see things differently than you. These unfortunate situations happen all the time, and are not remediable. The only type of Jews who survived history, are Orthodox. Every non- Orthodox Jew, has Jewish grandparents in recent generations.

So Reform Judaism is a very liberal form of Judaism. They believe the Torah is more cultural, not necessarily something that needs to be followed today, it’s just their heritage, and they may or may not believe in the one God. Therefore, they’re quite lenient for a lot of things. In most reform shuls, non-Jews are accepted as part of the community at large, and they can participate in many of the activities of the shul. They call their shuls temples, but that’s something for another day.

The Hentile Noah knew the distinctions between clean and unclean animals long before any written law given to Israel, which obviously makes these to be "Noachide laws," which in obeying Noah or NOACH found GRACE in the Eyes of the LORD. So we should be like Noah!

I have been officially a Noahide since 2013. I was told by an Orthodox Rabbi (whose name I don't recall) that he believes that there are already enough observant Jews today who perform the mitzvot to be able to bring the Moshiach. HASHEM is now waiting for the relevant number of observant Noahides to complete his plan. HASHEM created us all and gave us our various roles to perform. As Rabbi Tovia Singer has said many times - There is no requirement that all his human creations become Jewish. It is, however, commanded that all mankind observes the 7 Noahide laws. In my mind - It is better that I be an observant Noahide than a non-observant Jew. The bottom line that I wish to say here is that Noahides are also necessary in order to bring Moshiach. Shalom.

According to Judaism, some people are born with a jewish soul and that’s why they want to convert- and also why they do actually proceed with the converting. This wonderful and blessed woman was not born with a jewish soul hence why she didn’t feel such strong desire to convert and sacrifice important aspect of her life. She’s just as equally important as a jew, it’s just that her mission in this world is not to fulfill those mitzvot of a jew.

I personally hope (and pray) that there will soon be an abundance of Noahides all over the world. I see churches emptying out and closing around me…B’ezrat HaShem they could be torn down and replaced with Noahide community and prayer sites. And may the Mashiach come soon. Shalom from the USA

Judaism is the ONLY religion i know of that says you do NOT have to join the religion in order to have a relationship with and blessings from G-d. He created EVERY human in His image, period. The paraphrase Lincoln, "G-d must love the [non Jew], He made so many of them!"

Jews are a priestly nation. So unless someone has a "priestly " calling, conversion would not make sense. Israel is the "church ", the jews are the "priests " and the noahides are the congregation. Being a noahide is fine. Just serve Hashem and each others.

As an orthodox Jew and I don't understand why do you think that you have to be in a synagogue walking distance especially as a woman you are not required to go to the synagogue at all. Maybe only for the conversion process you'll have to live in some community in order to let people to know you to get the conversion approved but as an orthodox jewish woman I go to shul maybe once or twice a year... But the most important thing we have in life is the friendship with Hashem and this is anyone can have, you don't need to do some mitzvah for that, it's in our heart and in our mouth. And if it's ok can I ask why are you covering your hair?

Thank you for you comments Dassy. It is not what I think re living within walking distance of an Orthodox Synagogue, it is what I was informed of by the rabbis I was involved with during the conversion process. Regarding covering my hair, I have referenced 2 videos that will explain my choice to cover my hair; "How Noahides Live in Today's World" watch from 6.50 kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6enYWxsaJiqjJI "Modesty for Noahides" watch from 19.20 kzbin.info/www/bejne/i5jFZXenmK9npdE

Converts are required to join a community. The way to do that, is to be near a synagogue. People who don't understand these things, shouldn't offer their advice.

If you're gonna convert to Judaism, you are committing yourself to Hashem totally. You cannot do things half-heartedly. Now an Orthodox Jew, because it is in their heritage/tradition and thus in their very DNA, is most comfortable and relishes in this very holy lifestyle. A Gentile, on the other hand, because he/she has been living a life dominated by materialism and recreation, will most likely find it a challenge to live such a holy and disciplined lifestyle and will be compelled to compromise/half-ass things, which is a terribly grave mistake. If anything, it takes great humility to accept one's status as a Noahide, because in doing so, you acknowledge Hashem's infinite wisdom in choosing the Jews as His Chosen People, and you also embrace the utmost significance of being G-d-fearing by refusing to compromise against Him. Besides, the fact that Hashem loves the Noahide even when He only commands 7 laws to us/has less expectation from us is a blessing in and of itself and truly goes to show just how loving He is to those who worship Him alone and are obedient to Him, whether they obey the 613 commandments or only 7.

You're so adorable. You should not apologize for not converting. You just do not have to. You keep what God has asked of you and you have a great reward in heaven just as a Jew keeps his commandments. This is what Gd commanded the non-Jews in 7 commandments. This. I wish all non-Jews would observe them. And may the Jews keep what God has commanded them. Jews have 316 commandments. If Gd gave them so much He gave them these powers. May the Messiah come, you will be together with all those who have succeeded in keeping what God has said. Jews and non-Jews who have fulfilled the mission. Success for all of us. Love to see and hear you

Im jewish and I live as a noahide. Some of the things the rabbis are telling you isnt totally correct and the chabad isnt the end all of judaism. For me, I have PTSD really bad, tattoos, checkered past and I have an issue of doing a mikva which is something I wont explain. Part of me wants to be orthodox but the reality is, if I care more about following G-d, then I have to choose the most humble path and the most honest. If I were to try to live orthodox, Id be violating a lot of things. HaShem, is the first responsibility a jew has. Based on that responsibility I live as a noahide. And there are a lot of issues within the jewish community. Most jews do look down on non jews. You would think after all this time the jewish people would not be so arrogant. You will have much greater rewards for making your choice not to be jewish because you care about your stand with HaShem first, and not the title of being jewish. However, and dont take this wrong... One person is not just as important to another to HaShem. The Jewish people are set apart. There is a distinction and if someone has told you otherwise they are wrong. Why were hunchbacks or people with disfigurement not allowed in the temple? Why were gentiles prevented from the temple? There is a distinction. But thhat doesnt mean a jew should be boasting. A jew should be humble and it is the mission of the jew to minister to the noahide. It is supposed to be any jew, not just the rabbis but because of the issues of judaism today, it is best to listen to a rabbi over other jews who are orthadox. AND when Mashiach comes, many who were called jews will be told they arent jews and many who had no jewish identity will be told they are jewish. I would not worry about any of this. Jewish DNA is indistinguishable from other Europeans and arabs. Ultimately we are still all related.

I see your point but things can't be looked through people but only by the Hashem's guidlines, as you as me we're all not perfect human being, the diraction is the indication - not the people who're walking there and each one in a different point. I feel you're a beautiful neshama and if you have that inner realationship with Hashem you can always ask to let you see and clearly know and let you be able to do your truth journey and if you listen - he answers by the circumstances of life. If you're a male jew why will you even have to go to the mikvah? you could but you don't have to.
