I did my B. Tech from a private university in Greater Noida. My class of 2020 had 186 students. As far as I can track, more than 120 of them have left India. Only few of us like me, stayed back. I regret my decision now. After years of gov. exams preparation, I have been incapacitated to get any skill-based employment in private sector without any networking. Today, I am alone and defeated in life, all thanks to KZbin propaganda videos that told me how India's time had come and as a civil servant I could be a part of that growth story. Now with no other option left in life, I am preparing for banking exams now. I just cleared prelims this year, maybe I would land up a gov job next year. I will save enough money and move to some gora country. With heavy heart, let me tell a little secret, we would have to better off as a british dominion status. English destroyed us when they made us a republic.

@@flintindia_eduMy India in 1835Read Carefully "I have travelled across the length and breadth of India and I have not seen one person who is a beggar, who is a thief such wealth I have seen in this country, such high moral values, people of such caliber, that I do not think we would ever conquer this country, unless we break the very backbone of this nation, which is her spiritual and cultural heritage and therefore, I propose that we replace her old and ancient education system, her culture, for if the Indians think that all that is foreign and English is good and greater than their own, they will lose their self esteem, their native culture and they will become what we want them, a truly dominated nation." Lord Macaulay's Address to the British Parliament on 2nd Feb. 1835 *We must at present do our best to form a class who may be interpreters between us and the millions whom we govern; a class of persons, Indian in blood and colour, but English in taste, in opinions, in morals, and in intellect. To that class we may leave it to refine the vernacular dialects of the country, to enrich those dialects with terms of science borrowed from the Western nomenclature, and to render them by degrees fit vehicles for conveying knowledge to the great mass of the population. - macaulay *Commenting on the objective of colonial education in Africa, Nelson Mandela remarked thus36: The educated Englishman was our model; what we aspired to be were 'black Englishmen'. We were taught and believed- that the best ideas were English ideas, the best government was English government, and the best men were Englishmen.

All hard work wasted .. there are students in my state were alloted with a govt. seat with lower score (rank) than mine .i filed a petition in high court Rajasthan nd 6 hearings were done and the case is still pending bcz no seats left in govt. college. Nothing is happening in fair way ..

Man, I feel your frustration. Scoring 650/720 and still not getting a seat is just insane. And it’s your fourth attempt! Filing a petition was definitely the right move, but I can’t imagine how stressful that must be. Honestly, if nothing’s moving here, maybe it’s time to look outside India. There are some great affordable options abroad that recognize hard work like yours. Let me know if you want to talk about it.

Thank you for sharing your concern. While racism does exist in some places, many countries are very welcoming and supportive of people from diverse backgrounds. It's important to research and connect with those who have had positive experiences to get a balanced perspective.

To the fact racisim exists even in India. Just appaorach the lower caste people. They till date are suffering in multiple places.My friend left her PhD because she was harassed by professor based on her caste. She left India and again applied PhD, now she is happy and settled. She is enjoying the racism there though it's very mild because the racism there is uniform where every Indian is struggling not only she. But here she and few others who belonged to that caste only suffered and are still suffering is what she says

It would be wise if you re-evaluated the challenges that you are ready to take before taking your decision.

@flintindia_edu2 күн бұрын
I wouldn’t put the blame on just one political party-it’s the result of years of poor planning and missed opportunities. Look at China. A few decades ago, it was poorer than many African countries, but today, it has surged ahead of India in nearly every aspect. Why? Because they focused on long-term strategies, manufacturing, and building their economy brick by brick. Meanwhile, India has been bogged down by inconsistent policies, endless bureaucracy, and a lack of accountability. Instead of prioritizing real development-like improving education, healthcare, and creating world-class infrastructure-we’ve been distracted by short-term narratives and political blame games. The value of the rupee sinking to 85 against the dollar is just a symptom of a much larger issue. Without real, structural changes, we’ll keep falling further behind on the global stage.

I respect your point of view, and it’s valid that studying in the best institutes here can offer a good life for some. However, not everyone has access to such opportunities in India. Coming from Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh), I’ve witnessed a different reality where resources, infrastructure, and quality education are often limited for many. Studying abroad isn’t just about loans or fear; it’s about exploring better opportunities for personal and professional growth, which sadly might not be equally available to everyone in India. It’s all about perspectives and circumstances!

@@flintindia_eduLet me explain to you in detail why people like to move abroad :- 1.People want to lead a high level ultra modern life style in other countries 2.They need to maintain a strong social status that they are living in heaven (countries like the USA, Canada, UK.. ect) 3.My friend is going abroad, he is going abroad, she is going abroad.. So why not me?? 4.Initially many think that European countries, USA, Japan.. All these countries are heaven and India is the only hell. So they move abroad.. Even if they are not able to get a good job and settle there.. They are also ready to wash utensils in the restaurants just to maintain their dignity that they live abroad.. I am not offended by those people who move abroad.. If they get a better life there, then it's fine.. But if not?? My opinion is that people must be happy with what they have now in their life.. Always dreaming about a posh lifestyle, high status won't actually let a person to live his/her life peacefully...Hope you understand
