Recently when the Division 2 was on some crazy holiday sale I decided to buy it along with WONY. I’m a Destiny 2 long time player and this game is the biggest breath of fresh air. I have never played this or the first one before, but I absolutely love it and hope it gets a player base back.

I am extremely happy with the development of destiny 2 for the fact it has gone so far down hill it forced me to play this game again. Devs have really put an emphasis on accessibility these last few updates. From revamped menus to planned content like being able to replay old Manhunts to get missed comms, you can tell that they’re trying to get the game in a state that appeals to both newer players and long time players in order to retain that attention for The Division 3 (like you said)

My big thing was the Manhunts. I very much played Div2 as a looter shooter because the story/lore was enjoyable. I missed the original warlords release and several manhunts in a row because of life reasons and after picking it back up I feel right back off post-warlords because of what felt like a huge gap in the story/content. Its the same reason I haven't been able to pick Destiny 2 back up. The amount of content I missed as well as how much content is just simply locked/gone because its either sunset or because the game 'progresses' past that content and you can't experience it left me with the 'missed out' feeling of FOMO.

Woah, is that thing about replaying old manhunts to get missed lore items true? I basically stopped playing after season 4 or 5 when the season ended earlier than the in game countdown said it would and I missed some of these. Really annoyed me.

As a former player 3 changes that would make me return are, first, a shared open world, I like bumping into other players while in the world it makes the world feel more alive. Second is a better queuing system, I want to be able to queue for more than one mission/activity at a time. Third is cross platform so we can play with more people and it will shorten queue time

I just came back to the game as well after a long hiatus and let me tell you, it is so nice to just lay back get on and mindlessly grind and just relax and play, it is a nice bit of fresh air. This game and the world they created is so pleasing and I just love this game with a passion. I feel like division 3 will be huge if they stay on the track they are on. I would love to see a form of hunting implemented too. so many animals in DC on the streets it would be cool to have a use for them, weather that's just for materials or managing hunger either one!

Just bought the ultimate edition last week on sale and finally opened my signature weapon. I'm not a big PVP fan, so i've never been inside the Dark Zone nor played conflict, but the missions are tons of fun and I've met alot of new people through the Answer Backups feature. I have not unlocked any of the green gear yet. I'm at about level 35 and having an absolute blast! Those black tusk guys are tough. I just made it to world tier 2. Thanks for this video my friend. It can definitely feel daunting as I see some people have scores like 7,000 LOL and I'm just there with my 300.

@RogueGold I'm in the endgame now and leaning Into skill build. I just completed tidal basin on legendary with a group of friends. That was one of the hardest things I've ever done. Holy smokes. I was the teams healer while 2 guys ran DPS and 1 ran Tank. Chem launcher plus reviver hive. So many close calls. That last bit is straight up INSANE. Sooo many enemies. Good lord. I was wondering a few times if I was playing Helldivers instead of Division 2. Absolute chaos 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for your coverage of the game my friend. Good luck on pvp , every since people .. cheating shd levels . Your going in with a big disadvantage.. when they have shd 5000 plus and alot of them are over 10k just the extra health they get will be massive against you .. i think i am 1600 which is low low .. and i get like 30 or 40k more life I think, can remember went back to div 1 but at shd 5000 to 10k they have almost double over you

I think the biggest thing for me with division 2 is the fact that I’m so lost half the time with builds and there is so much stuff going on that I’m never sure what I should be doing. Are you already 40? From there I'd say unlock all of the skill trees (especially technician and gunner), run Summit with loot set to strikers until you get a set of serviceable pieces then run Countdown until you have all the PvE named pieces you want. Challenging is just a treasure trove.

Division 1 skirmish was the most fun I’ve had playing this series I haven’t played Div 2 since the proficiency/expertise system released which was a long time ago. I’ve been thinking about returning but what I enjoy is being able to make unique pvp builds that work and something division 2 has always seemed to have was a strict meta where you get destroyed unless you’re using what everyone else is. Anyways I’m probably gonna check it out tm and see if I enjoy the current game

Never felt the need to optimize or recalibrate mid game. Cool change though. Would rather take +250 stash inventory size though. Looking forward to tuesday though. You rock RogueGold always positive (when called for) and on point. No BS.

I think a healthy balance of both is essential. I recall how after WONY released, everyone was clamoring for more replayable content (Kenly was the only Game Mode). Going a long time without one of the two types makes you long for the other 😄

Division 2 is a great game. Some significant bugs were implemented in this last patch/season, but they are working on it.

1 thing with Conflict i really wish they would change is take out the mode voting system completely and put each mode on a 15min rotation, kinda like COD does with some of its maps. I've never even got to play anything other than Skirmish cause no one votes for anything else, it's dumb. Like how is it fun playing the same mode 24/7?

my goal in the game is to get 1 good set of every armor in the game so i can play around with builds. my stash is full so i can no longer progress and gave up just over a year ago. i hope they increase inventory space

Something that could also help is the new HARDCORE MODE. I began last week to play it! Other thing that I have requested for ever is CROSSPLAY! It should help a lot with the matchmaking issue.

Not going to lie, I am excited for Project Resolve to finally go live and the new season to start, I'm really interested in seeing the many changes made, that in it's self will be a little bit of time to spend with the game, my biggest concern is content, sure we have all these cool new changes but once we beat the New season (for me it's usually 5 days to a week) and we see all the changes then what? Back to playing the same old tired missions we've ran 100's if not 1000's of times before, we need new content and waiting another whole year is going to be torturous. Here's hoping that Div 3 will have 2 or 3 times more missions and areas to play in for times when new content is lean. As always thanks for the updates!

Thanks, that was a great Overview of the current state. I haven't really touched Divsion 2 since launch and am thinking of returning with a friend that I wanted to play it with since ages. And this information definitely makes it more likely that I will. I expected a game that doesn't get any further support and I'm surprised to see the opposite is happening. Ubisoft does do oopsies but they also believe and improve them. If they made Anthem we'd still have that gem. I actually stumbled across The Division because I've checked out so many games while I'm ill for the past days that I came to the conclusion most of them seem like garbage and basically not a single game took The Division's strengths. So here I am.

I wouldn't count on it. The effort it takes to produce a Raid vs. the popularity they had in the game didn't seem to end up being worth it, from what we can tell. Future content in that same space is likely to be fully directed at Incursions, as we saw with Paradise Lost in Season 2

You'll struggle to find a huge number of people to group with during the campaign, but that's because the vast majority of the playerbase is at the endgame and you can easily find people there 👍

the good, no crash at least on the open world. the fps get better. something to load the game does not load. but i can manage i prefer that that crash on the middle of the game. one of the big problems are DLC i can only use paypal. and most places is not like steam. let see when time comes i will find a way
