Why now's the perfect time to start playing (or return to) Honkai Impact 3rd!

Upon further notice from the official Honkai account, unfortunately Global and SEA servers will not be getting the artbook in 7.8. I’m really sorry for that, we were all expecting it to be available for everyone. If Global does end up getting it, it will probably be for our anniversary in February-March of next year. Again I am sorry, and I will post more info as soon as I have some. 🥲

I started playing gachas this year (started with genshin, then hsr, wuwa and finally zzz). Sadly i had to uninstall genshin cause i had no space on my pc and i was also finding a bit hard to conciliate playing 4 gachas and well, having a life hahaha. But mainly because of space. But even tho i had heard of hi3 i never really look into it too much until today when i saw the hsr x hi3 collab. I found the character from hi3 very interesting and checked out a few videos about hi3, and even tho i like quite a bit the gameplay, man it so complicated for new players, and not only that, since its such an old game it will always feel like you missed on so much even if the old characters are not as strong as the new ones (the ones you will probably get) theres always the feeling that there is so much you could have gotten, and even if its not impossible to get them all as f2p/low spender, how much would it take? Plus theres also a need to consider the future bangers of gacha genre. Idk man, if make an analogy to gachas and banners, i think hi3 would be this really strong dps but already old so few people pull/play for him except the mains/people who already play it from quite some time, and for that reason it will also be a skip for me. And i think thats the reason why maybe it lost a lot of its player base not because the game was bad or got worst (i even believe it got better from what i saw in the videos), but because theres just better stuff that came out (essencially got power-crept). But i rlly did like the gameplay so i know the game isnt bad or anything like that. I just feel like at this point in time is a game that very hardly will "grow" in terms of player base. I also think that the UI and overall graphics/textures (even if improved) just arent as good as a lot of more modern gachas. So yeah, kinda feels to late at least for me, but who knows maybe one day. Oh and a question: the collab ads new stuff (sparkle in this case) only for hi3? Or do hsr players get stuff from hi3 too as well??

I hope one day you might change your mind, if you do I have some guides on my channel! They might be of help . And from what it looks like, this time it's like the Genshin collab where only HI3rd gets stuff...HSR is gearing up for the Fate Collab which is probably why(❁´◡`❁)

I started playing Honkai Impact 3rd solely because I wanted to get Asuka…and I got Kiana’s plugsuit and pretty much everything else aside from the two HoR’s outfits…I did that all F2P also I had to get through to the point I could get the event to kick off so when I got Asuka she became my main character and soon after the genshin crossover happened and I got fitshel and her gear as well as Asuka’s both are MAXed out with level and gear I plan to do that with Sparkle I’m saving up crystals to pull her gear and or more character card to level her up or if we luck out it will be able to be bought in the astrel shop like the other crossover character shards.. but I will be focusing on getting and fully upgrading every single Crossover character that drops into HI3..

@ I also want the event to rerun as I really want to focus on getting the two outfits for bronya’s HoR…as for info all I got is that it doesn’t look likely… the grind to get what I did was a really rough thing however…the bike drifting mini game was especially unforgiving with it’s time attack runs…but I got Asuka’s Stigmata and her Weapon I got the extra Stigmata of Misato and I got Valkyrie Void Ranger’s Plugsuit skin..as well as Asuka’s Plugsuit along with her to SSS rank..

hi, thank you for watching! it’s okay i understand your questions. so yes about the artbook 1) you can get it next version(7.8) 2) there is a limited amount of artbooks available, so you should try to complete the missions as fast as possible 3) some missions: do daily missions, do events, do the new story chapter, complete abyss, elysian realm… 4) the book unfortunately can’t be shipped to all countries, so you can check in the announcements tab in the main menu whether it can be shipped to your country 4) as far as i know the book is accessible only to people that are level 81+ so you might need to reach that level first sorry if it’s confusing you can ask me anything else!💙

Id say 7.8 is an even better time, you wont need to reroll like you normally do if due to the very strong spending event, and if you play a lot you can get a super strong team (Vita, HoFi with DK an Coralie) with just grinding for one patch, 7.7 is a bit of an odd patch as SIMP (eepy teriri, also yes thats one of her actual acronyms for her battlesuit) is still strong but really wants senadina (and you wont have thelema or helia weapon until 7.8, and fyi thelema, senadina and lantern are rerolling on there but vita and hofi dkey are better to pull bc they are newer) so if you were to start now I would just save, its gonna feel pretty bad to play with no P2 characters though as even in early abyss a lot of people already have a strong p2 character) do know that its still reccomended to reroll in 7.8 it just wont be as mandatory

honestly honkai impact is not a game i would usually recommend rolling on since there is 8 years worth of grinding and a lot of stuff to go through. lunar vow is one of the only usable characters released in part 1 so she’s not bad at all! but imo rolling on starter banners is quite literally bait by the devs and i really recommend against it. if you have time on your hands you might want to try it, best of luck. i’m here if you need any help!

i just made a new acc, im planning on saving EVERYTHING for spending event (so ill most likely get 4/4 HoFi) and maybe buying bp to get HoTr (no gears unfortunately 😭 thats going to hurt a bit) so my question is: how do i get a HoO? is it too cope to hope for another free one? 😭 or is pulling on her better...or do i give up on trio (note: i wanna get 4/4 vita and songque, hofi key and save for sparkle)

Getting HoO may be a bit difficult and if you get the max level of bp for the four patches you could get HoTr 3/4. Personally I'd recommend you get Vita and HoFi DKey over trying to complete the Herrscher Trio. At the end of the day it's your choice but realistically the Herrscher Trio is too expensive sadly.

Herrscher trio is NOT worth to backpull at all, id just save for spending event and get vita 4/4 and HoFi’s DKEY 4/4, so that means NEW gear, its better than her old one so dont backpull her old gear

as previous comments have mentioned, hoo has been given out for free twice and is probably never gonna have another normal banner again. while yes the trio is better with the new hofi gears, most of the new gears’ value comes from the fact that hofi is now a support so hoo is really not a necessity. your priority should just stay on vita and hofi for the time being. best of luck!!💗

abyss is the only content that u need decent units on, any other gamemode is catered to people without the latest units. the returner event is pretty massive too

if you’re asking me about rolling 7.8 i would say yes because it is an anniversary patch. we get only two of those a year, now for CN and in the spring for global. we have a nee very strong character, an old character coming back, 3 other s ranks are getting reruns and we’re getting more crystals than usual. honestly if you’re on the fence because of sparkle/star rail collab we should be getting info soon from the chinese beta so you don’t have to roll immediately and instead wait until we get full info on whether Sparkle’s gonna be free or gacha. the spending event lasts 4 weeks so you have plenty of time to decide. also thank you!!😘😘

Could you make some sort of guide on how to get crystals to prepare for 7.8? I just started a new account and rerolled, and I am worried I won't have enough crystals before the time 7.8 drops. Currently at 15k, but I am not sure how to get to 30k or so which is what I have heard is going to be needed for 7.8, and even then I will be BROKE for 7.9. Any advice on how to farm crystals is very appreciated

hi, unfortunately i’m not planning on making a crystal farming guide any time soon sorry. i don’t mind telling you here though the biggest source of crystals is Elysian realm weekly challenge(up to 500 crystals) and Abyss which resets twice a week(600- about 1100 depending on your rank). compared to star rail or genshin, events give out a lot less, usually 1-3 pulls. there is additional content like the weekly open world adventure mode or normal chapters but that will take a loooot of grinding. hope i helped a little, feel free to ask anything else!😊
