Mostly for the fact the manga doesn’t have any filler Like the anime but the filler in the anime is so the manga could have new content for them to animate

Manga has better pacing, no filler, no censorship, no changed or edited content cover pages which not only feature random fun ideas but sometimes tell the story of stuff going on outside the main groups adventure, faster to catch up to the current story, better and consistent quality. -- all i personally want is the colored version. the anime is great too up to ark called punk hazard ii i want to really simplify it. where i call it the anime running marathon. with the insane amount of screen time of characters doing that. there are some issues with previous arks, but they may not be noticed as a casual watcher.. also of course the anime benefits from voice acting. since i saw so much of it. even reading the manga i have their voices in my head. which helps with immersion even further. though i know the manga is better quality overall. i also know the average person finds it harder to get into manga, so i would recommend the anime for as long as they can stand it.

One piece filler could be dragging things on for longer than intended. but also episodes not present in the original story. sometimes they are individual random skits. or a few episodes to tell a original story. sometimes they are stories to create a upcoming movie villain. some are good, some are forgettable. but you never know what its going to be.
