Social services may be a good idea to hand some baby stuff over too, when I was pregnant with my first at 14, I didn’t find out till I was 30 weeks. Social services got involved cause I was under 16 and they provided all the baby clothes as I could only afford the furniture and other products. So that’s always an idea. Hopefully it all goes to someone who really needs it as so many people struggle these days 😫🤍

I was still living with my mum when I had my son and we shared a tiny room! He’s now 15 months old and he’s only had his own room for 3 months! He’s perfect and has so far lived his best life! They don’t know or care whether they have nursery or not! 💛

I’m a Mummy to 3 daughters who are 2, 4 & 6 and I remember at times feeling like you whilst pregnant with my 1st. I just wanted to say don’t stress about the small stuff. Most of it isn’t needed... stressing about things like how many sheets you’ll need for the crib for example... as long as you have 2 so 1 on and 1 on whilst the other is washed, it’s all you’ll need lovely. Don’t put pressure on yourself or allow others 2❤️xx

I love that you spoke about the nursery situation! I agree that there is a big expectation for expectant parents on KZbin to showcase an amazing nursery for their little one but you’re absolutely right.. not all people are fortunate enough to be able to provide a dedicated nursery. Obviously those people who do choose to provide an incredible nursery is absolutely amazing and if you have the money and the space then of course you want the best of the best for your baby! I would probably do the exact same thing, but I love that you addressed this. It will help give some reassurance to those who aren’t in that position, that it’s absolutely perfectly fine. At the end of the day the baby will never remember what their nursery looked like or if the slept in a super expensive crib or a second hand Moses basket. As long as they receive the love and care they need then that’s more than enough 🥰🥰

I have four older brothers and we live in a house that's 2 rooms downstairs and 3 bedrooms. I slept downstairs until I was four and 3 of my brothers shared a room until they were 18 and 20 and my oldest moved into an old cheap caravan in the garden so I could have a room. People seem to think children are unable to share rooms and have to have their own or have to have a nursery and playroom. You are amazing and you are doing amazing and everything you do, everything you are is enough💗

Be really careful covering prams in the summer. It’s advised not to do so as it makes the pram reach unbearable heat. An umbrella on the pushchair is more than enough to shade a baby 🤍✨

Honestly I wouldn’t worry about not having a “nursery” I never did and my daughter didn’t go into her own room until she was 1 and had such a personality she picked her own bedroom (Disney princess/peppa pig) rather than me choosing the deco etc which I could of spent hundreds on to have changed it 6 months later to what she wanted. She’s now 7 and changes her mind all the time we’re currently creating her a Harry Potter dorm room style bedroom 😂

Totally get the renovation difficulties! We bought a house 3 months ago and we have completely gutted it, moved the stairs and moved almost every wall. You do have to go back to a complete shell and it definitely is not liveable. We haven’t been able to move in yet. With your baby on the way it makes total sense to simplify it so you can live in it at the same time. I’m sure it will be a beautiful house anyway and you won’t regret doing the stairs. Best of luck hun! X 💕

The nursery videos on KZbin (along with many things) set a high standard for parents that never used to exist and there can be so much pressure because of it. My little one wasn't even in her own room till she was about 6 months old. You are setting your dream home up to make beautiful family memories, baby will have her own room eventually, it's really no big deal atall, she isn't going to care where her clothes and stuff is kept, she's too young to know!! To be fed, loved and have happy, healthy parents who have her best interest at heart is all she needs! X

Please stop worrying about not having a wardrobe or not having a nursery - your baby princess is surrounded with love and will have everything she needs... I saw something recently where someone said that a baby doesn't know what their nursery, etc looks like, initially it's done for the parents or photographs which I though was quite true when it comes to getting things done as you can. I know your baby girl will never go without and will know how much she is loved, please don't stress about anything which is not within your control... your house will be perfect when it is done, until then it is perfectly in progress. Love you guys and your honestly, humility and kindness xxxxx

That’s part of first time motherhood and don’t worry things will come to you as you learn your baby. Every baby is usually different! Unfortunately they don’t come with a manual! Lol you will learn your babies cues and what they like/dislike with time. Just don’t be so hard on yourself or get so overwhelmed your baby will feel your emotions. You will be a wonderful mother just love each moment and cherish it! 💗

I had a moses basket downstairs and one upstairs it was extremely helpful, my daughter didn't go into her own room until 7 months she was with mummy and daddy until then. I would reccomend getting a few bedding sheets for baby, my little girl had colic and was very sicky after every feed so there was lots of sicky accidents, and a few poo explosions so I would get spare bedding for sure. Hope that helps. X

Don't worry about a nursery you've got until 6 months old at earliest. Plus when they go in a separate room you constantly in and out of the bedrooms. My 10 month old is in with us still and I find it easier getting out of bed, putting dummy in and getting back in bed while barely awake. She will probably stay in my room until she's 1 and half. I've an 8 year old son who's got his own room but had autism and I'm worried about moving her into his room because she still wakes up. If I was single I'd just share my room with her until I've got enough savings to move
