I saw on a KZbin channel about a fast ferry going from dumaguete to Cebu City.. might be the way to go with the baby and get an air conditioning cabin.. after you get to cebu you can get air condition car service like grab.. I also heard that it was easier and better to buy a used motorcycle and a used car because the paperwork was easier to get.. is that true? Also a xpat that is 65 and over should buy a car because that is like buying a insurance policy and get a car with some airbags add a camera in the front and back.. also for the baby you need a pediatrician that will keep files and take care of the baby and know his history and you can call in the middle of the night for an emergency.. I raised three kids and had the same pediatrician and he was a lifesaver.. him and his family got a Christmas present every year from us.. he would call ahead to the hospital and the hospital would be waiting for us when we got there for a emergency for our child.. I'm watching your channel very closely and listening to everything that you are going through because my girl wants a baby and I will do what I can to make her happy.. maybe also find a good immigration lawyer that has a fast track with the social security office, Embassy and other entities that you need to access to handle the babies paperwork for social security and everything else.. I am an original subscriber and I am always watching but I cannot always comment.. always give you a thumbs up and I watch your wife's channel also and give her a thumbs up..I am happy to see that everything is going good and that you three are doing so great.. say hi to the little one for me..👍👍😃😃😊😊ps.. put an easy but childproof lock on the gate going to the ocean because when he hits his terrible twos he will go through that gate if he can.. Mark probably already knows but Jen will learn that you have to child-proof your house when they start walking and running..hehe👍👍

I had a child in Cambodia in 2015. Proof of Birth abroad only took birth certificate from Cambodian government taken to US EMBASSY in Phnom penh. Took Proof of birth abroad to local social security office on my home town USA social security number given almost immediately. But getting his benefits from social security has been a nightmare. Almost 4 years and only have gotten one payment from SS.

PH driver licenses there are good for 10 yrs...didnt know they were valid that long. Here where im at in Texas they used to be good for 6 yrs., now are good fir 8 yrs. Good video!😊

It's called a Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA). When my wife did our son's you could schedule the appointment online. I don't remember them being too far out. It might be worth it to try going up to Manila.

Mark, I feel your pain about your son American passport and Social Security Number. Why so hard? My three kids were born in Japan. They got their Japanese and American super fast. Also they got their Social Security Number when I pick up their American passport in Tokyo.

I did the similar process for my son born in Thailand. It is a very long process but on the plus side it should help your US taxes by being eligible for child tax credit as well as an extra deduction lol

Hello I have some ideas for you on your baby ok. I had 7 kids. 1 play a radio music close to the crib that will stop him crying a lot it work's. 2 get DNA test send copies 22:17 to prove its your baby that work's good.good luck on your baby.one problem is they may say you need to bring the baby to usa for 6 months. It happened to me I live in Costa Rica 23 years now . I'm 83 my daughter is 12 .my American oldes daughter is 63 😢

I just returned from the Philippines where my fiancé and I gathered our marriage requirements and on the 14 hour flight home there were (2) babies/toddlers in the row in front of me. When you book a flight with Delta, there is a "small child on lap" option. The flight attendant brought stuff, maybe formula, out to them more than a few times. This was on Korean Air, one of Delta's partners.

I suggest you open a tax efficient stock brokerage account such as IRA for him, put some cash in it every month say $100. Invest it for him in for example an S&P500 ETF fund such as SPY which is a basket of shares of 500 companies..... By his 20, he has a good nest egg and if he takes over and continues by 30, he won't need to work or worry about money again. If I have a child, I'd do this on his birth forward and add extra money if I get a windfall along the way

Your son is cute❤👍🏼. But not sure why you consider circumcumcision barbaric as it has been a religous as well as a cultural tradition among Catholics in the Philippines and also in Islam and Judaism. In addition, there are also health benefits to being circumcised. Just pasted a quote below from the Mayo Clinic; “ Circumcision might have various health benefits, including: Easier hygiene. Circumcision makes it simpler to wash the penis. Still, boys who haven't been circumcised can be taught to wash regularly beneath the foreskin. Lower risk of urinary tract infections (UTIs). The risk of UTIs in males is low. But these infections are more common in males who haven't been circumcised. Serious infections early in life can lead to kidney problems later. Lower risk of sexually transmitted infections. Men who have been circumcised might have a lower risk of certain sexually transmitted infections, including HIV. But it's still key to have safe sex, which includes use of condoms. Prevention of penile problems. Sometimes, the foreskin on a penis that hasn't been circumcised can be hard or impossible to pull back. This is called phimosis. It can lead to swelling, called inflammation, of the foreskin or head of the penis. Lower risk of penile cancer. Although cancer of the penis is rare, it's less common in men who have been circumcised. What's more, cervical cancer is less common in the female sexual partners of men who have been circumcised.“

Surely the local ladies do not use disposable diapers, at $80 per month. It would be cheaper to use cloth diapers, even if you paid some one to wash them. Also at a few months old, no need to wake up at night if sleeping, they will wake up themselves if they are hungry. If they are asleep, they are not hungry.

Actually that's all they use. However we change our baby when he's the least bit wet. Some mothers don't change their baby's diaper unless it's dirty

Wow, this is for real. I bought my Filipina Girlfriend her 1st Birthday Present at 33, she chose a Makeup table. And same thing. "With our genes do you know how cute our daughter will be? I have a Son, so I wanted a daughter so I can dress her like me". Spot on Mark, lol. I think this is the going thing in the Filipina culture. Another bit of knowledge most that don't understand the real world and just have Western culture thinking, is the Phil-Am connection. A half-bred Filipino has certain privilege's.

Formula is completely unnecessary for most women - as breastfeeding is best. Why are you using formula? And $80/month on electricity contradicts what Sunshine Shoulders is saying. Sunshine Shoulders last electricity bill was $300 for 1 month and his place is smaller than your place. He said he used about 1150 kwh the last month. I think the rates are not that different, so that means you must be using only around 350 kwh/month. Good job in keeping your electricity usage so low.
