11th reason: since the S2000 is a small car, its very easy to wash, wax, and vacuum the inside. You can detail the whole car including the engine compartment in less than 2 hours.

I've owned all the fan boy cars from BNR32s, BNR34s, JZA80s, DC2 ITRs, JZS161, CT9As and the list goes on but selling my old S2000 was one of the biggest mistakes I ever made. The internet and the car community tells you that you need to lust over the typical cars most people obsess over but none of those cars came anywhere close to being as fun as the S2000. As soon as I came back to the US to visit last month I immediately bought another one!

I drove from Lubbock to Abilene in the rain with the top down but side windows up.. (I happened to be hauling a CRX bumper in the passenger seat and couldn’t close the top) only the very tip top of the CRX bumper got wet. Watching the aerodynamic wake of water mist in the rear view mirror was a near-religious experience.
