We ate in the Glass House and really enjoyed the mains, I had the seafood trio which was delicious, husband had the beef trio which he enjoyed, I went for the lower sugar dessert trio which wasn’t the best, husband had a different one which he said was lovely. Service was good and we were near the window so didn’t have people walking past us.

I always do the lunch in pearl restaurant. When you order the starter and main, you can always order extra sides as we both do,the food in their exceptional

Interesting review! The Olive Grove is our favourite Iona restaurant, so we weren't surprised to see you rate it highly!

We have done many po cruises and when you consider you mostly pay the equivalent of a decent premier inn hotel without food I believe your expectations are far to high and your scoring un warranted as for the amount of food you can have all you want on request and it does save waste with the initial serving. We have sailed with most other

It’s not about the amount of food but the quality. We have cruised on other cruise lines for similar prices and their food quality and service was better

Thank you for this video… I’m going on my first ever cruise at the age of 57… With my friend… We are really looking forward to it… Also going on Iona to Norway. I hope I stay awake till midnight to book all the restaurants that we want to go to!!😂😂

I am going on Iona in July. I have eaten at Epicurian on Azura ( twice, different cruises) , Britania and Arcadia. . It was excellent on all especially Azura as Epicuian was at the aft of the ship and the views were excellent which complemented the meal . The service was great and very theatrical which we actually enjoyed. Same with Sindhu , eaten there more times on all the ships . We love Sindhu , I can't wait to go back. Although P&O have changed their charging structure, previously you just paid a flat charge for speciality restaurants and could have anything off the menu. (pre Covid) I hope it is good as I am taking a first time cruiser . I have read/seen mixed views on Both Iona and Arvia so hope I am not dissapointed.

The olive Grove, I know was our favourite place to eat, it's best to oder 2 or 3 starters to share, the main courses are lovely, the desserts are my downfall had 2 tiramisus.. some food in there u have to pay extra, but absolutely well worth the experience

The keel and cow, we both thought was gr8888888, we had the duck bai buns and the sharing cheese,which was fantastic, .Michelle had the prime minster burger,which was massive, I had the steak and ale pie, both value for money

Does anyone have any opinions on the alcohol cocktails on the Iona ? We have recently completed a fourteen day cruise on the Iona and on several occasions the cocktails came with no alcohol. We ordered Baileys on occasion which also tasted lacking in alcohol. I would be interested to hear anyone else’s opinions on this subject.

The food in Horizon restaurant I found to be bland and boring if you want to eat healthily. If you want to eat cheap greasey food, especially for breakfast, then fine, Horizon is the place to be. A good proportion of the diners in Horizon are vastly overweight needing various kinds of walking aids or buggies seeming particularly drawn to it with chips, sugary desserts and synthetic cream on the Horizon and God help you if you get in their way.

Why on earth do you feel it's good to talk about the size of people. Some people are on life saving drugs unfortunately some of which puts on weight.
